Stern show jumped the shark many, many years ago; around the time Artie left. But Ronnie has carried the show for a few more years after that. Then the show completely ran out of gas . Sirius way overpaid him. The Stern podcast today is unlistenable; even his interviews are nothing more than kiss-ass therapy sessions. These older shows, however, will forever get great.
This was the beginning of the end of the Stern show. They decided Howard was too old to bring in hot women. Artie had left. They started considering the whack pack to be politically incorrect. Howard had stopped ripping on the celebrities for their hypocrisies. Marci Turk was either already there or about to arrive. The bans of irreverent guests like Gilbert were nearly all in place. All they still had left from the old days were intra-staff fights - but there were so few of the other old show elements, they had to lean way too hard into these staff fights, and they went on way too long.

Stern show jumped the shark many, many years ago; around the time Artie left. But Ronnie has carried the show for a few more years after that. Then the show completely ran out of gas . Sirius way overpaid him. The Stern podcast today is unlistenable; even his interviews are nothing more than kiss-ass therapy sessions. These older shows, however, will forever get great.

This was the beginning of the end of the Stern show. They decided Howard was too old to bring in hot women. Artie had left. They started considering the whack pack to be politically incorrect. Howard had stopped ripping on the celebrities for their hypocrisies. Marci Turk was either already there or about to arrive. The bans of irreverent guests like Gilbert were nearly all in place.
All they still had left from the old days were intra-staff fights - but there were so few of the other old show elements, they had to lean way too hard into these staff fights, and they went on way too long.
It would be absolutely pathetic if they were doing the same show they did in the 90s, today. The problem with people like you is that you're the same guy you were back then, and you think it's a good thing 😂 It's completely pathetic. Also, you're whining 😂😂
