Other than that Howard was right he doesn't have talent. He isn't funny. Howard was the best thing that ever happened to him and how stupid is Jay Leno and company for hiring him. What exactly did they have in mind? He proved Howard right. The talent pool that Jay had to pick from and he chose Stuttering John? John was like maybe they like me Howard. No maybe they had no clue what they were doing.
Can you guys imagine the resentment from the writers that worked there? Today I see him here on RUclips and check it out and he is horrible obnoxious loud. Even back then they go away and he has his feet on the Blackjack table? That is illbred. I could go on and on. I had to vent.

I sure hope Howard wises up and gifts Fred at least $50 million for being a loyal soldier for 40+yrs. Per usual tho, as we know Howard’s narcissistic bullying, his own greed would not allow Fred a single marble. In Howard’s way of thinking, Fred should be paying Howard for allowing Freddy to be almost famous.

@@hispud3522 The 100k from the reality show was substantial but I cant imagine him being the MC for an Artie led tour gave him that much extra per year. The had an apartment in NYC and a house on Long Island. Even in the 90's a person making 6 figures would have a hard time affording that. Stocks were atleast half of his income I would bet. Actually, Howard was completely wrong here. He made "Stuttering John" who he is. Then he tries putting him in the place Howard wants him to be. Howard uses John where it serves him, only to reduce him to a call-taker. Stuttering John was a main character for years and Howard reaped the benefits. Besides all that, Howard makes the lions share. Why should he care about "scraps".
He also made "Hank the Duarf" "High pitch Eric", "Eric the midget", "Benji Bronk" "Beetlejuice" "Ralph" etc, etc, etc.
Don't forget, Stuttering John fought Crazy Cabbie in a Pay-Per-View in Lads Vegas and I'll bet Howard made out quite well for that venture.
If you're concerned about Howard, ask "Alexa" what his annual income is.

I hate defending John, but Stern was making a ton of money back when this was recorded and John wasn't. Stern has historically paid a lot of his low end guys garbage and most of them only made their living off their side hustles. If someone offered John stock tips or anything and it didn't affect Howard I don't have a real issue with it.

On another note, I will say that Howard has a point. Anything Howard's employees do always reflect back on him. Something goes wrong , and Howard will be blamed. His name is on the line especially at his level of fame. Howard is a good businessman.

John CAN'T be this stupid, IT's not the same because Gary is not his friend he's his boss and co worker,. Howard is only mad at John for taking advantage of the people who call the show to GET NEXT TO HOWARD and think that by getting next to Joh they can weasel their way into Howard's circle.
John didn't understand that Howard was right because it's Howard's SHOW and Howard makes the rules on behavior on HIS show.

The ethical question is whether John gave influence to people in exchange for gifts/services. But that all pales in comparison to how Howard treated the people who worked for him. Now Howard criticizes Trump for mocking people with disabilities, but Howard was at least as bad as Trump.

I know for the sake of the shows entertainment value Howard makes a thing of this BUT if you truly think about it John did nothing wrong, he's parlaying his position into a better and more profitable position, it's called networking, PIMPING not being a ho and staying in a bad spot, that's America, that's life, that's doing the best ya can do, Howard should be praising John in reality, don't blame a man who's making shit money at the worlds biggest radio station for trying to come up, and Howard saying he doesn't get involved in employees pay, he absolutely should, tell the boss the guy needs a raise, so you don't lose him, like say to JAY LENO
