You could also wear the bokoblin mask or Majora's mask in order to gain Bruce's trust before catapulting him next time! Or, you know, whatever other torture device you decide to try next. I've catapulted koroks so far, but haven't tried it with a bokoblin. Life goals, friends.

Something that might seem obvious to some but others might not have thought of: if you fuse something to a shield and you want to keep it forever but you don't necessarily want to carry it with you all the time, you can mount it on a shield display and it keeps the fused item. The only reason I researched this is because I wanted to keep the garland, but if I had taken the Patricia statue I'd definitely be displaying that one as well.
Another way beside the scoop that might work to lure a Bokoblin onto the catapult is to put on the Bokoblin mask and stand on the catapult so that he walks towards you and onto the catapult.
Would have worked better if you had the short side on top and the long side on bottom. Also, the Korok leaf on a weapon turns it into a fan that can blow enemies so you could have baited him to the box then gusted him in. Either way, very entertaining. 😁

This is definitely a more creative war crime than my usual go-to of taking a cage, attaching flame emitters on the inside, dropping it on top of something and watching it burn.

This was an awesome watch. Looking forward to more. Not sure how the physics totally work in the game. You may have gotten more distance if there was a crossbar at or just before the top of the arc. It may propel Bruce out sooner with more momentum at a higher angle. He more spilled out from gravity.
To get one in the scoop I was thinking you lay it on the side, then stand on the long back part to get them to jump attack you, then use recall to make the scoop flip back up straight. If the timing is too tight, perfect dodge then switch to recall or use an ice fruit to freeze him once he's in there. Even if you get trapped inside too, you can climb out while they ( theoretically ) can't.
This looks like a great idea if you ask me, why did we not think of this before I wonder. Thank you in advance Luke, Ellen and Producer Jon for these installments of great entertainment and happiness. Happy Bokoblin launching everyone.
Y'all need to add a stop near the top so that the catapult stops at a less than 89 degree angle but greater than 45. You'll see some serious distance then.
This series of episodes is a great idea. I was a bit woried they were going to hit the attachment limit Eurogamer reached during the Homestead Challenge at several points.
I'm aware producer Jon is a Zelda game special appearance, but if he's going to be dropping Italian Job references, he's a necessary commentator in more videos.

Incredible stuff, 10/10! In a similar vein, it might be fun to see you try and create a device using springs/rockets to try and propel an enemy as far straight upwards as possible!
I want to see that again, but position the catapult so the stabilizers are inside that little shelter by the side of the cliff, so that when the catapult springs up, it hopefully hits the structure before the full apex for the sudden stop that sends whatever's in the scoop flying.
Are bokoblins still lured by meat in TOTK? Would sticking a piece of meat on the end of the catapult draw an unlucky bokoblin without the fuss of the scooping? Great, now I've got to go try it.
I haven't done too many atrocious deeds, but I've noticed that you can push enemies around if you freeze them with either items or a sapphire rod. Maybe an easier way to make the enemies stand still? 😅

Show of the Weekend is on Outside Xtra (most recently on Saturday 9th July 2023) , and is currently on hiatus for a while - with these TOTK challenges being released on Saturdays instead. Outside Xbox used to do Show of the Week, which I believe has been retired permanently as part of the changes resulting from "The Event".
You know you don't have to hit the Zonai device, right Luke? You can hit an attached wood/metal/stone panel with your weapon, and it will activate the entire device.

Bruce will be remembered as the first sacrifice in this noble campaign.
Not going to lie, I started rooting for Bruce after he jumped out of the scoop, that was legendary
They named Bruce, and then Bruce did heroics. A heel turn I wasn't ready for, but my heart needed.
Couple of tips:
- You can use meat or fruits to lure bokoblins onto builds
- hitting any part of the build will activate it, not just the devices
You could throw an ice elemental material near Bruce. That should freeze him, but not kill him, so that he is easier to move into the scoop.
