    I'm an ENFP and I find ISTPs to be sooooo sweet underneath all that tough and aloof exterior. And their simplicity, quietness and here and now focus is incredibly sexy. I honestly like them and I totally understand her feelings of being safe and playful at the same time. There's a lot of non verbal communication going on between these 2 types. ENFP might be great talkers but ISTP balance them out, because you know that the few words they say, they're honest and well thought of, so you can trust them to be up front and direct. What a great mix!

    She's totally an ENFP from 11:59 to 12:09. He completely nailed it with his "soulmate" comment. As an ENFP, she melted inside by his response and would have grabbed him and kissed him, BUT because she was consciously aware of the camera, she had to play it cool. she couldn't act on her initial impulse, so she just gave him "the look."
    The look spoke volumes to the both of them!
    ENFP here!!!

    This is so nice to watch for me (an ENFP also in a relationship with an ISTP)
    I think enfps and istps generally attract each other simply because they're so different, but then some couples fail because they don't communicate well enough which is really necessary when you're so different.
    At the beginning of our relationship it really was a little rough because he couldn't show his feelings towards me like I needed him to but yeah as istps get more certain about their feelings they become soo sweet.
    We challenge each other to grow and I really did - grow
    I just love the way he shows me new things and new ways to think about things and I wouldn't have that with someone too similar to me
    :)

    For those thinking that he can't be an istp because he is more outgoing and that she can't be an enfp because she seems shy or quieter in this video -
    An istp is usually not concerned with what others think.
    When they are interested in a topic, they will certainly engage. He does laugh and joke, but there is still an underlying sense of stoicness or self control. This is not to say they don't bust out and have fun; they can be great fun with an often sarcasm and witty humour.
    Enfp's can sometimes be a little more reserved in new situations, as they observe dynamics and see if and where they may fit in. She is being video taped, so that may contribute to her being less outgoing. Enfp's care about how others perceive them, especially when it comes to being understood. They dislike misunderstanding and discomfort not only for themselves, but also for those they engage with. We like to make people feel comfortable and secure.
    That's my personal experience and observations of the 2 types...

    I adore this video because it is EXACTLY our relationship dynamic, even down to the disc golf and video playing. We are playmates. (One of my closest friend is ISTP too and same goes with her). I'm an ENFP, he ISTP and we met 20 years ago and still couldn't stop thinking of each other. we ended up together two years ago, the magnetism is unparalleled and we know each other without saying a thing and we typically have similar aesthetics and values. I guess until you experience it, it's difficult to understand. Because the two look so different on the outside, others might see it being conflicting, but the relationship can be very complementary. I will say maturity probably plays a big roll in it. (And NO, ISTP in MBTI is not always and ISTJ in Socionics. Mine tests the same in both. The conversion is more complex than that). Also, she is not being distant, ENFPs have a distant stare when we are actually trying to take it all in.

    I watched this a long time ago and I was drawn to this video.
    I used to be an enfp, but I think now i'm more infp.
    When I first saw this, I was all about mbti. Until I became a Twin Flame channel.
    I realized I was drawn to this video, not because they are istp and enfp, but because they are Twin Flames.
    Twin Flames doesn't care about your zodiac or mbti type. Your match is your match. And now that I know what Twins are, I understand why I was so captivated by these two.
    I love healthy Twin Flames!
    Everything they are saying has nothing to do with their mbti, but with being Twins. All Twins are buddies and have a playful relationship, almost like siblings. I mean we are Twins, just with our Souls.
    It's like meeting your best friend. Perfect compliments.

    this is my husband(ISTP) and I (ENFP) we met through friend who were dating on my birthday.. he pursued me initially, said he couldnt stop thinking about me..this reminded me of that.. are certainly each others "playmates"hard to find information on the dynamic of the relationship online, besides others online who are in relationships such as mine but i haven't gotten too in depth with them about it nice interview.

      +Britt Love, I'm an ISTP. He's a great guy. Maybe the only thing about his personality you may not enjoy is that he isn't expressive on a emotional level. i myself find it very difficult to express this verbally. But its good that you understand why this is the case. He's funny, charming and looks like a good bloke from what I can see. I'm 18 myslef and looking to 'go out' with what I believe is a ENFP. Got any tips? :)

    • @eldorazita
      @eldorazita 7 лет назад +3

      @ Britt. I too look for dynamic examples because after reading MBTI and finding out they may not be a good match, I couldn't believe it because ours is a one of a kind. It's interesting how it just works out. Like when Mike uses the flexible analogy, it exactly describes the fluidity of the dynamic. Not that isn't not without it's issues, but it's a fun relationship.

    While he seems a really respectfull guy, one that gives you space to breath. I wonder if they are still together and if they are more like "life partenaires" than "very best friends".
    It's good to see that same values are more important than mbti when it comes to "the right person" even though still like mbti very much :P
    For matching i think "S" dominant don't go well with "N" dominant and "F" dominant don't go well with "T" dominant. For the rest it's seems ok. What do you think?

      yes, when truly opposite, but there is a shift when differences become complimentary.

    • @brain0nfire
      @brain0nfire 7 лет назад +1

      I myself think about that sometimes. In this case I would call it reverse. I often think of a coin that has two *opposite* sides and two *inverted* poles. Basically the words mean the same but they are referent to different aspects. So truly opposites would be in different poles and in different sides; complimentary opposites maybe just in different poles but on the same side.
      In socionics they have 3 distinctions: homoverted-heteroverted; symmetrical-asymmetrical; rhythmical-arhythmical. It's a nicely wrapped theory. ^^

    According to the theory of socionics ISTP's and ENFP are the worst combination possible for their types leading me to believe someone is actually a judger which would make it the best possible combination.

    • @blogdelaverdad
      @blogdelaverdad 8 лет назад +4

      Of course not! Actually Socionics says that istp (SLI) and enfp (IEE) have a duality relationship, which is the most favorable kind of relationships. On the other hand, MBTI says that istp and enfp doesn't get along well, which in my own experience, its not true. I agree with socionics when we talk about relationships.

    • @BenJones1127
      @BenJones1127 8 лет назад

      blogdelaverdad Sigh, it's a rookie mistake to not realize the last letters are switched for Socionics. An ISTp-SLI is a MBTI ISTJ, an ISTj-LSI is a MBTI ISTP.

    I'm confused. I thought they were saying Mike was an S because he didn't like the idea of soulmates. But he is clearly the extroverted one, right? I thought Mike was the ENFP. He is the one that leads all the answers and stories. Kristina seems like an introvert.

    They haven't touched each other for the whole video. I wonder if there is a problem with intimacy and touch between them. Is the interview making them so awkward? Usually, relationships with distanced behavior have some big hidden problems. Hopefully, it's only occasional.
    Also, how long are they together? What are their thoughts on marriage, kids, living together or not,
    What is their darkest moments or most problematic areas? How do they deal with them?

      ISTP female with ENTP male eh? I found this combo in a series. So, if you have watched Stranger Things series, there is a girl who I think is ISTP and a guy called Steve who is ENTP in relationship with her. I don't find this being a good match, but it works for a young age for comfort and learning yourself better in basics, I believe.
      You can add me on fb if u like, it's cool. If you want, I can send you a request. I found your profile, but we are not connected.

    • @6DarkuriA6
      @6DarkuriA6 7 лет назад +3

      Yes, in theory sounds like that but people are very different to each other no matter the type, so in our case it is working, even people say that we are very similar, it is our individuality, we are not into a box. We have many in common and no matter the S vs N because it is very immature to not accept the other due to that, and in fact we listen to us more due to that. Look for my facebook: Darkuria D DovahChild.

      Socionics ISTP is an MBTI ISTJ. The last letter is flipped for introverts when converting between the two systems. So yes, In MBTI terms the ISTP is the ENFP's conflictor. ENFJ is the ISTP's dual.
