The S5IIx is so good - it's the best value on the market by far. 6k open gate, Panasonic color science, great battery life... I bought two of them. Going to get another one soon for my C cam. You can't beat it. 3x cameras and 3 prime lens (24, 35 and 85mm 1.8) for less than 10k. That's value

If I can add one other personal gripe about Panasonic L Mount cameras - ok, the SYSTEM, not really the cameras - is that there are not nativle ultrawide angle lenses with LENS stabilization. Hence, the five-axis IBIS leads to some serious corner warping when shooting ultrawide (under, say, 28mm). Panasonic could possilbly lessen the corner warping if they allowed users to switch from five-axis IBIS to only three-axis IBIS, but that is something that doesn't seem likely. You think we all in the industry gonna change the cameras constantly twice a year because there are few newer cameras on the market? ;) It`s nonsense. When you buy a camera you gonna work with this camera for at least 2-3 years - it`s an investment, workhorse, not a toy. We have job to do, content to create, sets to record ;). We don`t have time to analyze month after month did we make a good decistion with this camera or another... Only tech-geeks earning money on RUclips creates such a silly titles like "WORTH IT AFTER 5 MONTHS"? Of course it`s worth it. It`s gonna be valuable also in 2025, 2026, probably 2027. To be more funny do an episode like "DJI NEO - STILL WORTH IT AFTER 5 DAYS?", or "TOP 5 CAMERAS THAT ARE WORTH THE PRICE LONGER THAN A WEEK". ;)
Well it’s more for people who are thinking about buying this camera and have been thinking it still worth it considering all the other cameras that get released in the year🤷🏼♂️ I own most of all lumix cameras so of course I think it will be worth it but kinda my job to point out all the little flaws for people who want to invest $2K
Yeah I never had a problem with rolling shutter. I did an entire short soccer shoot and didn't notice any crazy issues with it even when doing fast pace movements like running with the camera
A camera with a 1.5x crop at 4k 60p is worth nothing to me. In all seriousness if I didn't have a camera, and panasonic sent this to me for FREE, I would sell it and buy a different camera. Completely, completely useless with a 4k60 crop. How Sony can manage a camera with no crop at 4k60 in the size of something like the FX3, and Panasonic can't manage it in any of their FF cameras....shows how far behind Lumix is. And by the way, I love Lumix. But it's pretty pathetic when their micro 4/3 lineup absolutely crushes their FF lineup.
I think it has less to do with the crop and more about the price point. The S1H a few year old camera that cost $3,500 can do 4K 4:2:2 10 Bit 60fps no crop. Meanwhile, the S5ii is at $2,000 and the FX3 is at $3,800. So Lumix can put in the 4K 60fps no crop, but they just need to be wise on making sure people buy the higher end cameras at the end of the day. The S2H (new model) most likely will just be the GH6 but fullframe and with phase detect.
@@MatthewDangyou The S1H has a super 35mm crop at 4k60p, meaning a user cannot shoot full frame 4k 60p on the S1H or any of Panasonic's full frame cameras. The only cameras that Lumix makes that can shoot 4k 60p without a crop are their micro 4/3 cameras.

I HOPE THE S1H11 REMOVE ROLLING SHUTTER!
Yeah I never had a problem with rolling shutter. I did an entire short soccer shoot and didn't notice any crazy issues with it even when doing fast pace movements like running with the camera
@@MatthewDangyou its minimal stuff you saw...
After 5 months? 😂
Make it special😂
@@MatthewDangyou When will they reveal the S2H? Do you have any ideea? Thanks!
Honestly no clue. My hope is next year
@@MatthewDangyou The S1H has a super 35mm crop at 4k60p, meaning a user cannot shoot full frame 4k 60p on the S1H or any of Panasonic's full frame cameras. The only cameras that Lumix makes that can shoot 4k 60p without a crop are their micro 4/3 cameras.
People that stream are using 1080p so you’re wrong here saying it’s useless without 4K 60 not everyone needs that
Keep your head still and your glasses straight. It's distracting,
after 5 months....dude calm down, automatic dislike and unfollow
