@@pyenapple you’re comparing apples and oranges. Record sales are a show of success while they were active and I’m referring to their legacy vs all time greats. The way that they’re viewed today, in my humble opinion, I believe they’re underrated.
This album got me through my early high school years. The most gorgeous song on this album is called RHINOCEROS, you'll like that much better than this one.
First off, love the Pumpkins, an important band for me personally... great reaction and thx. Second, when you're taking your notes, are you doing some kind of mind mapping technique? Totally just curious, but I notice you are not always writing in the same/expected spot.
Teez, amazing song, amazing video is Smashing Pumpkins "Tonight Tonight." Really STUNNING. Video is based on a 1902 film about visiting the moon. Distracting from the song, but they go very well together. I think you'll like it enough to put it on your playlist.
Jimmy Chamberlain on the drums relentlessly drives every pumpkin’s song
The first song I ever heard by them on MTV's 120 Minutes back in the day. Classic track
Yeah, same here. I'm guessing '92
The Pumpkins have an AMAZING and DEEP catalog... They are VERY MUCH worth a deep dive!
Smashing Pumpkins were my favorite band for so many years. Their music still holds up for me, and makes me think of junior high/high school 💙
Great choice 👍. This is from their first album (1991)
One of my favorites from Smashing Pumpkins!!!
Gish was such a great album at a great time. I remember the first time I saw the video on MTV.
Hands down their best album. IMO
One of my favorite albums. Every song on Gish is FIRE.
Oh we goin pre-"Siamese Dream" now? Love the reaction pick! One of my favorite Pumkins tracks.
Love it! A great track from a fantastic debut album. 🎶😊👍
They Rock, Smashing Pumpkins 🎃 🤟🏻
Criminally under rated band!
Especially this album
Wtf are you talking about, they're a multi award winning critically acclaimed band who've sold millions of albums
What are you even talking about they sold a gajillion records. Underrated? Hahshaha

Every time I hear the Pumpkins I wonder why I forgot about them.
Agreed. Ditto for Jane's Addiction...Mountain Song, The Ocean, Three Days, etc. Just WOW!
Its from the 90's but got a 70's vibe
You should do “Here Is No Why” it’s great
Probably my fave song by them from early on, super groove.
I liked when Teez was keeping the beat with his pen
😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥
Gish is one the best rock albums of all time.

Love this album. There's a kind of dreamy surreal quality to most of it.
Teez, you do a nice variety of genres and bands. Definitely not a copycat. Try some REM. Whats the Frequency Kenneth? is famous.
Great album. Great song.
👍
Yeah baby!

The quiet part you commented on is intentional. He just mixed it down that way.
🎶 👏

The artist who did the video, Wayne White, also did the puppets and set design on Pee Wee's Playhouse 🙂
@@ijustneedmyself cool trivia! I worked in a restaurant in NYC that looked like a cross between Pee Wee's Playhouse and The Flintstones.
