What makes GT even better is the fact that the race exhaust is literally the Rally Fantail Side Exhaust. I started freaking out for the next 10 minutes when I noticed. They KNOW people would do rally builds with this and it's amazing they added that. It makes me Appreciate GT just that bit more.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... all other racing games are for gamers. Gran Turismo is for car enthusiasts. Sure GT could do a lot better career wise etc. But for an enthusiast it just tickles your brain in a different way. I really need to get PSVR to be able to look around the cars like this.
I agree man Forza 7 looks better than Forza, at least when it comes to the materials used. There is no comparison, when it comes to wheels and overall body panels Forza 7 beats Forza.
To really get perspective on the downfall of Forza, just go back and play Forza 4. That's what I did a couple years back, and it was even better than I remembered. It's not nostalgia or delusion, the series has seriously gone downhill. Forza Horizon has also stagnated, and the leadership team left a few years back to start a new company. Don't worry about other games doing your ideas first, because that's inevitable. I think every game, even an arcadey one, is some sort of simulation. The details or feature set might have overlaps between titles, but the actual experience you're trying to convey, or simulate, will be fundamentally different, and players will feel it. Just because of the difference in production budget your game will be more narrow in scope, but because of this it will also be more specific and laser focused on what it's trying to do. That will be a strength.
There was a nurburgring free roam map revealed for ac evo today and the depth kunos went with that was just insane, this will put some serious pressure on gt7, way ahead of fm, Gt7 has lacked some true competetion,
Features is the the department I hope EVO challenges GT7. They not gonna touch GT7 is graphical detail, it will be shaper with higher resolution on high end PCs probability, but their is no way another game will be able to complete with GT7 detail wise.
I'm disappointed with the quality of Forza currently it's a very relaxed game nowadays, just so you know the Nissan Silvia S15 has a wrong 3D model, from the back, and they don't do anything about it in FH5... I don't know if they updated it in Forza Motorsport tho, well its a shame, because it's my favorite car and I can't even play looking at that ugly thing
GT7 have better quality to cars but Forza Motorsport gives interesting touch with fact that you can open your car dors, hood etc... and that could add a lot To GT. Especially personal garage if You could enjoy at least 3 from Your fav cars. That would be a game changer feeleng for a big plus
I bought ps5 for gt7. And Im so happy I keept my series x. Gt7 is awesome on vr but you will not be happy with gt7 physics. I play both games on racing wheel and forza is soo much better fron this side. Vr2 gives more immersion and its amazing. But I love motorsport physics and feeling on wheel, feeling of suspension, what happens with car wheels on bumps and corners.
Both are simcades and your will hear both side of argument, neither of them is full Sims, so if you looking for physics you are better of with new ac evo when it drops or play ac1

In forza motorsport i feel that i have a combination of need for speed and Granturismo and test drive cars and even more😮! While Granturismo cars number is less than half of forza motorsport with a lot of heavy updates 😳 😐!!! Forza motorsport cars are available in most of the times with huge numbers even in offline mode! no, he's comparing a cross-gen game made for 2013 hardware (PS4) with a newer game built for next-gen only. If anything, Forza is supposed to have a large graphical advantage, and yet it looks like Mario Kart.

😂😂😂the colour is one of the things that is out on the GT model. It's too light (not much), and in a certain light has a purple tinge to it, this is EASY to check. The GT model doesn't have that. Plus it's a metallic with a noticeable flake in it, which is highly downtoned in the GT model. This model does minor things better than the Forza model, but what it doesn't have, is reflections. No reflections of the aerial, window wipers, wing mirrors, rear number plate light, boot lock or windscreen washer jets, all present on the Forza model. The interior is also of a lower resolution, easily seen at 9.20 on GT and 11.00 on Forza clear difference. So not only is the Forza model of a higher resolution, it also does lighting and reflections better. And comparing the track models is a bit of a gimmick on GT, you don't get rt reflection on the actual in game models, only in replays. And even then some models I've compared have Forza with again, more polygons. There is a reason the interior exploration is only available in vr - lower resolutions.

More impressive when it looks more authentic to the real thing without adding "more detail" because it wants to show off than look the actual part. That's all FM turned into really. A game that tries to show off effects, but without making cars and tracks more accurate. The game still looks like a game and less like real life. FM I mean. You can't mistake this game for real life at all. GT7 easily can, even without scapes and without photomode. As I've done multiple times with friends and non gamer co workers. And just the other day, my CO (Commandinf Officer if you aren't intelligent enough) who does not game, but has interest in sims heard me talk about my setup so I showed him. I'm sure tou saw me comment this on that other video. But surely, he immediately knew FM was a game. He knew GT7 was a game, but thought it looked really close to real life. Even though one of them was a video with no HUD, and I showed chase view, it still looked more realistic to him. No reason to lie. But I don't think you can even fathom the truth at all. People have different opinions. Accept that.
all these complaints and delights seem to come from arcade fans. if you like racing cars, talk about physics, in gt it's a very weak element. in forza they probably focused mainly on physics but they managed to do it. i bought ps5 out of curiosity and sentiment but i'm glad i didn't sell series x because i would miss playing motorsport on racing wheel. gt7 disappointed me a lot in this respect, i have the impression that the only thing that changed in this game are car models because you can't even say anything good about the graphics in general. the level of detail in general is so poor, reflections are hopeless and you jerk off to landscapes...

no, he's comparing a cross-gen game made for 2013 hardware (PS4) with a newer game built for next-gen only. If anything, Forza is supposed to have a large graphical advantage, and yet it looks like Mario Kart.

😂😂😂the colour is one of the things that is out on the GT model. It's too light (not much), and in a certain light has a purple tinge to it, this is EASY to check. The GT model doesn't have that. Plus it's a metallic with a noticeable flake in it, which is highly downtoned in the GT model.
This model does minor things better than the Forza model, but what it doesn't have, is reflections. No reflections of the aerial, window wipers, wing mirrors, rear number plate light, boot lock or windscreen washer jets, all present on the Forza model. The interior is also of a lower resolution, easily seen at 9.20 on GT and 11.00 on Forza clear difference. So not only is the Forza model of a higher resolution, it also does lighting and reflections better.
And comparing the track models is a bit of a gimmick on GT, you don't get rt reflection on the actual in game models, only in replays. And even then some models I've compared have Forza with again, more polygons. There is a reason the interior exploration is only available in vr - lower resolutions.
Stop with the cope, gt7 have way better detailed car models than fm in every single way.

Hmmm. Funny thing is, images all over show GT7's color blue looking far closer to the actual cars color. You're all about flakes this, flakes that. But I'd rather have an accurate color than see some very light colored version with over sized flakes.

Sure, I admit Bathurst looks nicer. But is it more accurate? Not exactly. Have any of you ever watched real life racing? There again, is more things thrown on the FM version compared to real life. This isn't only the trees either.
The night time racing on this track is once again ruined by T10 adding a TON of flood lights and lamp poles. This track is WAY darker at night in real life. It's more impressive when a game tries to actually mimic real life. More impressive when it looks more authentic to the real thing without adding "more detail" because it wants to show off than look the actual part. That's all FM turned into really. A game that tries to show off effects, but without making cars and tracks more accurate.
The game still looks like a game and less like real life. FM I mean. You can't mistake this game for real life at all. GT7 easily can, even without scapes and without photomode. As I've done multiple times with friends and non gamer co workers. And just the other day, my CO (Commandinf Officer if you aren't intelligent enough) who does not game, but has interest in sims heard me talk about my setup so I showed him. I'm sure tou saw me comment this on that other video. But surely, he immediately knew FM was a game. He knew GT7 was a game, but thought it looked really close to real life. Even though one of them was a video with no HUD, and I showed chase view, it still looked more realistic to him.

all these complaints and delights seem to come from arcade fans. if you like racing cars, talk about physics, in gt it's a very weak element. in forza they probably focused mainly on physics but they managed to do it. i bought ps5 out of curiosity and sentiment but i'm glad i didn't sell series x because i would miss playing motorsport on racing wheel. gt7 disappointed me a lot in this respect, i have the impression that the only thing that changed in this game are car models because you can't even say anything good about the graphics in general. the level of detail in general is so poor, reflections are hopeless and you jerk off to landscapes...

GT7 has way better physics than Forza, you have guys like jimmy broadbent and Super gt saying it, and they have both sim and on track experience, Forza is inferior to gt7 even in the physics department, frankly forza has always been more arcade than gran turismo.
on the graphics department you have other figures of authority like digital foundry stating that gt7 is the best visual showcase in racing games right now, your subtext is transparent.
