Thanks for sharing, we raised geese , we let many moms have the babies, the dads and other geese walk the fence line, But, some of the nest was for there eggs to eat.Geese are great pets, we raised them as we do the dogs, love on the new born, Best watch dogs ever... To this day, after 40 years of having geese, we are down to 12, we are letting them age out. Each day, we still sit with them as if they are our dogs, Talk and love them each, At one time we had 50, only 5 was given away to a rancher that needed alarms ,,, not one was eaten, But one was stolen, Helen was the best pet. and never forgotten. I so love watching your show, thank you.

New source of anxiety unlocked. I was jumping out of my chair when the emus were trying to get the gosling from your hands. They're so bold... and fast. Dang velociraptors will be after the other ones when they hatch, and any baby chicks, ducks, or turkeys in the pen. Got your hands full there.

You could always put a couple of dog houses in with the goose babies and family??
You could always put some chicken wire by that door so the babies don't get out? The more adult geese around the babies and more protection for the babies

And I’d put some smaller sized fence on the front side or inside of the pen u plan on putting those geese in because the emu’s can fit their long head and neck through that larger fence holes . They are very cute and they are excellent parents .

How exciting to see the new baby goslings! They are such cute little yellow balls of fluff! I didn't think about the emus looking at the goslings as a snack, so I'm glad you were able to put them in the chicken pen. That looks safe enough. The geese are really great at hissing and keeping back others from their babies.

Kevin....When you fix the opening of the pen, maybe put a broad board the length of the 2" fence . The emu's can still reach the babies with their beaks and will be able to grab them by the neck. They will do anything for the meat. The board should be about six inches wide. I notice the babies were laying right next to the 2" fence. The emu's beaks are very powerful. Thanks for the fantastic video....😊😊

Aww,babies! I'm with Rachel on worrying about the goslings being able to get out of the pool. I know geese and ponds go hand in hand in nature but ponds have a natural slope, plastic swimming pools don't. Great idea Kevin about putting a couple of bricks in the pool so if the babies need to climb up on one to get out they can. Just space the bricks out so they can get out on different sides of the pool. Can't wait to see what the baby goats will look like.

Baby geese and ducks can drown if they can’t get out of pools. They will need rocks or something to get up on so they can get up and over the side. Their fluff isn’t water proof so can get too wet if they are in stuck in the water to long.
