That’s a nice and low mess job. I used to blowtorch the inside of the exhaust and once it caught fire blow with compressed air so everything burned away.
Great video as always. I would have never thought about doing that. I wish I would have gotten the MEcatech but I got what was locally available to me. Not racing but I really like the complexity of a 1/5 car. I have the FG EVO. I am more of a plane/helicopter person.
Thanks, Mark Great video !!! I have an FG monster truck with a standard Pipe. I bought a tuned one from ebay but the inside had many imperfections from the remaining welding material. Do you think will be any good to deal with it? As you said it should be smooth inside but mine is everything except this. Thank you in advance!!! Keep up the amazing work you are doing!
Coming from a nitro Tourer back ground I have used a slow cooker with engine coolant on the alloy tune pipes. I know that you would need a very large slow cooker to fit a samba pipe in but I would be keen to try using your method one the next clean on my pipes
@@MarkThomasson76 yes it works but takes some time two hour for a samba pipe sounds like a 10-20 mintues for a 1/10 pipe and you can get into the pipe with a bottle brush to really clean the insides out.
Hey Mate! the paint stripper works fine with Aluminium, I used to clean the Nitro pipes all the time - It may tarnish a polished surface tho (so be careful if she's a polished pipe!!)
HI ERYMARK WHAY DONT YOU MAKE VIDEO ABOUT SAMBA PIPE AND BLADE IT WHAT ITS LOOK LIKE INSIDE, IT WOULD BE GREAT TO YOUR CHANNEL, YOUR SUBSCRIBER WOULD BE HAPPY MARK

That’s a great idea using paint stripper will a to give it a try.
Works like a dream, I'm surprised every time! really worthwhile doing after running in an engine too!!
@@MarkThomasson76 Hello great video, did you use paint stripper for the inner and for the out of the pipe? Regards from Mexico.
I saw, yes is the same paint stripper :)
yes, the same paint stripper! I'm so amazed every time I clean a pipe. let me know how yours goes!
Nice opening shoot
Thanks for the comment Mate!! I really had fun making that!
What do you think how often this should be done?
I got my VRC BB pipe for a baja but driven it like 4 tanks already. Runs perfect 👌🏻
Would be interesting to know if you could use this process to clean a motorcycle exhaust.

Hi Mark, thx for the great viddeo. Do you know, will Paint Stripper work with FG Aluminium Pipe as well, or does Paint Stripper destroy Aluminium?
