My bird is named romeo😃 sorry for ur loss too😔
Thank you so much! I started doing things you are saying and my cocktael tamed ALOT and whenever i come home from somewhere it comes to me❤❤❤❤❤ THANK YOU.
You are so welcome! 🥰
For me it was the cockatiel who bonded with me from day one in the pet store. Itz just 2 months i bought him. Whatever i do he isn't mad at me!! Just to make him used to my hands i grab him daily. Still he is bonded with me demand scratches. My sweet tiel i love him so much🤗 only at night i put him on cage that too he himself will go.
Get your bird a companion, leaving it by itself is animal abuse.
@@kwiiin_no its not😂
@@caiwoodz It is, no matter how many emojis you spam birds are flock animals and need other birds of their species.
awwwwwwww 🌸
@@kwiiin_ Don't be stupid 😂it's not nessasary to keep them as pair, they bond quite well with humans, then they don't need any other companions as they get attached to their owners...do some research and then comment your thoughts lol
I took my dads tiel on, 4 years after he died. He has been caged with not much interaction in all that time. He was hand tame prior to this, but im having trouble now. He loves my feet and loves head rubs with my nose, but hes very nervous around my hands. Ive managed to get him to eat from my hand on a couple of occasions, but its taking time. He's getting there though
What about now?
Mine flyes free in my room 24-7.
All mine roam free in the house they have their wings and they all love me
Howd you do it?
Mine is on my bed
Mine is adorable but feisty.
Mine is cute but noisey
@@moonmalik4510mine looks angry and is angry lol

Thanks for the useful video, please post more videos like this on you tube 😊😊

Make lovebirds videos please they are so colourful cute
Thank you bro i have a spray of mullet and he steps on to it but not the finger
I got a pair of them yesterday, but they dont wanna eat anything
Do these same tactics work for parakeets ? I've had two for 3 weeks, but one likes to bite me !
What treat do you have to give him/her
Hello, i have a question for any birds expert. I believe it was said in the video that i shouldnt let two cockatiels together in same cage even if they are same sex. I have a male and a female cockatiels in the same cage since i got them. Do i separate them to tame each one?
It’s as if impossible to tame them, I have two albino cocktails and they don’t want me to got close to them, I really do need some tips other than that, it’s been two weeks since we started and she doesn’t want to bond with me, what should I do
The video told you - if there’s 2 birds they won’t want a human to tame them
Do you have any tips for taming cockatiels that have already developed bad habits? Before I knew it I had already been letting mine out without teaching it to step on my finger and I introduced a second one that it seems more attached to than people
Same thing for me
separate the cages, and then you can begin the taming process.
I recommend just putting ur hand in the cage for a while, getting them used to your hands. and then when it's used to you, try to train to step up, and then you can train with treats and stuff.
you have to be slow and the bird has to trust your hand enough to be close to it before u begin the step up process btw!
I got mine yesterday he doesnt like the cage just wants to sit on my bed with me but flys when ever i go near him, hes curious about me and copies my movement. Hes currently asleep on the duvet x is this bad or good his set up is good and he has all he needs yet prefers to leave the cage to be free in my room
Mine is extremely tame she or he is 12 weeks old and will only eat formula and a little green veggies but I have to cut them up very fine. Ugh so spoiled any advice??
My cockateil sings around us and when he sees us he comes to us while he’s in his cage, he don’t really eat the millet from our hand
I have one. I don't know what to do. It likes to be petted and likes to be on my shoulders, but when i try to get him off,it lunges at my fingers. What should I do?
How tame baby ones when they grow up :.)
I watching you
In the Uzbekistan 😊
Heres my situation mine is somewhat tamed, hes been hand fed and is used to humans, i cant make him step up from his cage or he will bite my finger, either inside or outside if hes on top of the cage, but he will let me kiss his head he doesnt like scritches. I usually let him get out of the cage by his own acord i open the door and he gets out. How can i change this or if i should change this? I ve tried different stuff and got bit a few times he only steps up if hes not on the cage or if he flies somewhere else.
Get him a companion asap.
my cocktiel he is 3 month i teached him to step on finger from ur other video, but how to teach him dance or play with toys?
Your bird needs to be 9 to 10 months old
The get a song and just bob your head
He will copy you if he is a male
Your bird need to spent 5 months with you😊
My cockatiel just died last week.. Cause a stray cat bit him . And he's just 2 months old .
😢
Ur dumb
On the first rule I always let my cockatiels out their cage and the come back when ever they like if you don’t chase them
Hi I am a very big fan of you can you tell is it okay for my grey cockatiel to be in a black cage pls someone tell pls
Color of the cage doesn't matter
mines keeps biting me and flying away
I’ve tried everything for the past 2 years to train this bird. Nothing has worked. Not
Even this year
Rip mango
My cockatiel allows me to touch his head but he is not sitting on my hand😢
Try offering him treats while touching him.
We had a cockatiel tamed but my brother made him scared of us
Based on random advice i got two cocktails together... It's been a month and they never let me pet them
Is it too late now 😥
Hey, it took me a few months to gain my tiel’s trust, it’s okay.
@@KareemPlayzYT thanks, I hope that
@@Memo-wp3bi I got my tiel in January and he wouldn’t let me pet him until march. It’s okay.
@@KareemPlayzYT mine runs away everytime and doesn’t eat off my hand I’m doomed
@@covector4787 don’t overwhelm him
I have 8 cockatiel and nun of them wants to be touch
I’ve already made a mistake, let him out of the cage before he is tamed… 😭
Mine died..😭
sorry for your loss 😢
Poopin everywhere
The fact that a cockatiel will not get tame when it's around its own species makes me wonder how healthy it is for a cockatiel to be tamed in the first place.

Wtf? Did this guy seriously give advice to have only ONE bird in a cage just so you can tame it. This is egoistic and animal cruelty. You should shame yourself
Its not egotistic OR animal cruelty 😭😭 getting it tame is better for the bird in the long run if it ever needs to go vets etc, birds are able to see humans as part of their own flock if they bond w you so i dont get ur point lol
@@shireenmakda4442 Imaging living in a world without any human being, without a human friend and human family members, but you live in a world full of happy rats that love you. A world like this sucks - but you would still try to make the rats to your friends because you have no other choise to get a friend. The vet point: I'm 100% sure you would rather live in a world without hospitals than a world without any human being.
This guy isn't saying to just have one bird, he just means its easier to tame them one on one and one at a time. I have 10 birds. My baby cockatiel is in his own cage and I will tame/train him individually and away from the other birds. Once he is tamed enough he will be able to be with the rest of my flock.
Mine won't let me do anything
