I love your new intro! I agree with you about the bright, summer colours. They're my favourite, although the autumn design is very elegant. And I love the palm trees, whichever way up they are! ☀️🌴💙

Tyfs I love them both. You turned summer over for fall .

I love them both. I would wear the leaves because I love fall. However the other nail design looked like mountains at night. I would have just added stars in the background and rocked it.

Oh man I would've been yelling curse words when I realized I did that lmao...that stuff always sends me over the edge so you're not alone. With that said, the colors you chose for the summer look were beautiful! And if I haven't mentioned it, I looove your new intro!

When doing a gradient I understand the base coat of white. Would it have the same effect if I use a base coat of another colour?

      Yes! But...........
Sometimes using the lightest shade in the gradient works just as well as the white does, but sometimes the lightest shade causes issues with the other colors in the gradients.
I'm not great with color theory, so I can't explain which colors cause issues together and which don't, and why (sorry! It's a blind spot of mine).
Because of my lack of knowledge, I just always use a white base to be safe.

      GREAT question BTW! 💜

I don't think it's stupid. A lot of people stamp this way and there's nothing wrong with trying something new. You might have been a little sad about the mistake but I think this look turned out great in the end!!!

Thank you! I think I just had an expectation and got upset it didn't turn out that way...

@@AlwaysPolished That's fair! It was pretty either way and while I personally also hate stamping that way other people probably really liked it! :D

LOL.It’s only upside down for others looking at your hands. But we do manis to please ourselves. So for a change you got to admire your design right side up for your eyes. With this thought in mind you made no mistake. There’s always a rationale to use. It was pretty and that’s all that matters.

That’s actually how I’d do it. That’s upside down?? Then I’ve been doing it wrong.

No, I don't think there's right or wrong, but for MY preference in showing you all, it was upside down 😂
