I had an H plate 16v redtop back in 1994 and loved it ,but had to sell it for a deposit on my first house. In 2017 i bought a 97 16v eco in near mint condition.i still have it but i dont use it much only for a few summer months .
Rust? I don't know what he's talking about. My 1994 V6 Calibra had a tiny plate in its osf wheelarch last year, and that's the first time it's been welded ever. And it lives outdoors.

Did the immobilizer fault cut the power supply to the fuel pump relay? and did you just remove the immobilizer or replace it? and the car ran ok?
Looks a lot like my Ford probe
