I was just at McNally Jackson on Sunday. Made this visit to my son's a book shopping trip. Also went to Brooklyn and hit up some stores over there. I bought so many books I had to mail them home😂

I also have gotten parable of the talents recently since have had a goal of reading a Butler each year since i read Sower 3 years ago. The Xenogenesis trilogy was so amazing so do recommend!
I definitely need to check that McNally Jackson bookstore location out the next time I’m in NewYork. The one I went to I didn’t care for that much. It was small and had more notebooks and things like that.
I have literally gone through the book haul and bought every single book in whatever format I could find - physical copy, ebook, audiobook - you name it!! So excited for my bank account! ✌🏽

Great video! I've been dying to visit NYC (I have never been) and when I go I definitely plan to visit those two bookstores. I'll probably have to ship home my books as I'll lose control!
I've read The Old Woman with the Knife, it is interesting, the protagonist is unusual and I would say the synopsis that it's less of a thriller and more of a study on how aging is perceived is appropriate. I love The Strand, I hadn't heard of the other bookstores, so next time I'm in NYC I'll check those out!
