A full check is only done early in the morning, you cross boxes on a card, hes explaining so it goes slower, otherwise a real check is much quicker, write your name and then on the rest of the shifts you just check the breaks, steering and lifting, something you can do while on the move.

Interesting to see the different rules and guides for fork lifts in different countries. Over here in the UK we're instructed to never apply any tilt while the pallet is still in the racking. That would be an instant fail. Tilt can only be applied once the pallet is at ground level. I have my test tomorrow, so im going through different videos to brush up on my revision

That's very interesting man! I really needed the info so i can continue both working on the Hadron Collider that is being built by Tibetan Monks in El Salvador by bringing iron ore, doorknobs, plastic bowls, pencils and small 1 ton orangutans to the rest of the worker crew, and so i could just use it for my daily use as i like to drive my Mitsubishi FM20AN Forklift to Taco Bell so i can eat the doors from their stove ovens and drink the anti-freeze they keep in their delivery vehicles! Good luck on your projects!

@@clericaltotalitarian I instantly knew I cannot take you seriously, I am the one who deserves the forklift driving certification.
You mentioned that for your "project" you're going to include orangutans and doorknobs, assuming you're from Faroe Islands you have no idea about what orangutans residing in Nunavut, Canada eat.
THEY ARE GONNA EAT YO DOORKNOBS.
I will let the forklift academy know about your fatal mistake so you don't get that damn certification, go ahead and try to get a clearly inferior bulldozer certification 🫵🏻😂

@@authmilitary WHAT!?!?! Said the guy who says he has to unstick IBM 5150s off the backyard! Everyone KNOWS you aren't supposed to use a forklift for that! You use a STEAMROLLER for that!!! You betrayed the forklift kind by abusing it for a steamrollers job!! You will never get forklift certified as you have no important materials to carry, such as mangonels, Togoan farmers, youtube video replay buttons, super glue, men and giatus patients, historical innacuracies, window frames, exhaust pipes, chairs or wooden bricks!! And everyone KNOWS you won't be carrying anything listed! Faker!

I love propane forklifts alot of fun and other fellow or former forklift drivers will know what I mean when I say fun lol . When I get my job done towards end of the day sometimes I like to have some fun go to an area with other drivers where there's no supervisors

I start my forklift training tomorrow and have found your video to be very thorough.
The only thing that wasn't perhaps mentioned in the pre-start check, was looking at the logbook.

You don't put the mast fully back? But keep it in upright position? Is this how you were taught or are there just different rules per country?

  • @hauntedhouse2012

13:17 you waited after raising mast, but never tested again if the hydraulic pressure may have dropped, by seeing if you could raising the mast to maximum height again?
