Hi, thanks a lot for your video,
I had training prior to watching your video, and a night before the final test I watched your video.
it gave me so much confidence, technics and I must say you basically did the job for me with your step by step procedure.
I passed successfully.
I recommend everyone to watch this tutorial beofre an attempt to operate a forklift.
Aduroba Quophy thank you for your positive feedback I'm glad you passed the test
All that training for 12 an hour. Nice.
Woow u gave me better understanding.thanks
Just about to get a job at argos warehouse got a test tomorrow found this so helpful thanks!
Aduroba Quophy if im skinny can i operate forklift
Damn, your shift is going to be over before you get a chance to check everything.
Lmfao. Check the finances....chexk the chicks in the street...check the door and dust levels... 9 fucking years later. Shifts over
@@dankwoffmemes7735 good to get paid by the hr
A full check is only done early in the morning, you cross boxes on a card, hes explaining so it goes slower, otherwise a real check is much quicker, write your name and then on the rest of the shifts you just check the breaks, steering and lifting, something you can do while on the move.
nobody does this shit.
Dude the best comment ever! 😂😂😂 for real he’s gonna go home before he even moved anything and then do it all over the next day! 🤦🏻♂️😂
When you lied on your Resume that you know how to drive a forklift so you just end up stalling 😂
I'm in that boat now kek with the job market being so shitty where I'm at, I had no choice. Kind of worried tbh. I know how to drive a car, but I never drove a forklift
@@clarkydarklestein5514 what happened ? 😂
@@ArredondoJairo actually not bad kek I'm getting training to be certified specifically at the place I work because they only accept company certifications and not previous ones
@@clarkydarklestein5514 so u have never driven a forklift in your life?
@@ArredondoJairo very little honestly
Me the first 12 mins: thats cool but i really need to know how to drive this shit
Thanks
I professionally train lift truck operators. I like this trainer. He is clear, to the point, and knows his machine.
Nicely done.I have been driving forklifts for nearly thirty years and even this old dog learned a few new tricks. Cheers.
Specifically what did you did you learn from this video?
if u have been doing it for 30 years why would you watch this you liar
just a joke mate, cheers. i know sometimes its fun to look up things your good at and or even learn new things.
these fake reviews could be most creative
Brilliant video. I have a job interview Monday for a forklift driver qnd it's my first forklift job since I did the training. This refreshed my training and now I feel more confident about Monday. Thankyou
How did you do?
yea like old mate billy said how did u go i got mine coming up soon
I have my forklift training next week. This has helped me a lot. Thank you.
how did it go my dad wants me to do mine i'm nervous but also exited
Interesting to see the different rules and guides for fork lifts in different countries. Over here in the UK we're instructed to never apply any tilt while the pallet is still in the racking. That would be an instant fail. Tilt can only be applied once the pallet is at ground level. I have my test tomorrow, so im going through different videos to brush up on my revision
It's state based in Australia
You can only tilt when at ground level a metre away in Australia aswell
i was told low hight full back tilt when moving
I got my Forklift license yesterday so happy
I was kind of feeling slightly not alot just slightly insecure about wanting to go into the forklift driving field because all my friends drive semi trucks . But your confidence and showing the forklift and its functions in the beginning of the video makes me feel alot better . And another cool thing is it’s engine and if any person knows a man love engines and any form of complex engineering awesome video snd i cant wait to start🙏💎
Same bro all my friends drive semis where I work and I was the only one doing the forklift but i ended up learning both now with patience and courage you can achieve anything
RUclips recommendations you never cease to amaze me
Thank you very much Sir,i am now training for operating a forklift mechaine.i am from Ghana west Africa and i am glad to watch the my video today .that's helpful to me,the video has given me clear that understanding for what i have learned today from my training.
Bless you for sharing your video.👑👑👑👑
As a first timer I learnt so much from your video continue doing good 👍
This is the most informative thing I've ever seen.
"How to inspect a forklift"
George Davis how it should be titled
Kinda wanted to know how to make it go up down left right n etc. 😂👌
HAHAHA
Lmao exactly
Am planing to secure a forklift job and this was helpful, thanks for the video
This is very practical and informative video. Thank you!
Thankyou so much for these helpful tips in this awesome video, because mate you actually helped me passed my forklift test today. and I really recommend this video for anyone that are currently doing a forklift course because this guy Michael helped me out ALOT in this video by showing all the pre checks and start checks!
Again a huge THANKYOU mate you really made a difference for me good job mate. 😊
(I still can't believe I passed the actual fork driving test)
Thanks Michael, you have thought me alot in this video, and am optimistic that this will help me in my forklift test next week, am obliged.
Sir this is the best ever training video I have seen before, thanks a lot form Bharat - Kolkata.
This for sure will help me to become safe and competent at operating one of these, thanx so much!!
Thanks I got my test today at my new job ! 🙌 perfect training 👌 I'm prepped
Thank you tafe. Im certified but its been three months i needed a vid to remind me the steps so thank you
Pls how can I get certified.I am presently here in Nigeria, but planning relocation.I want to have a certification on fork lift driving. Thanks
@@michaelmba8917 Look online for a training center (paid mostly). But there's also opportunities to get it for free, some interim agencies and businesses also will help you get certified first.
Good vid to refresh the mind I only drive for like 3 months a year and forget some details
Whoo-Hoo! i am now a certified forklift operator thank you so much i really gained confidence and knowledge from this Video!!!!!!
Edit: I am now no longer a certified forklift operator, i was involved in a workplace accident where i didnt complete a pre start check and the chain failed. there was a spotter under me and he got crushed by a 1.5 tonne pallet R.I.P Davo never forgotten now im homeless but i can always re apply at another forkilft operating centre!!!!
You can watch this at x1.5 playback speed and it sounds like he's talking at a regular pace
😂😂
he is trying to be clear as they are important instructions
1.25 was a bit better.
Thanks. That was driving me crazy
Appreciate the tip cause it felt like he was taking a long ass time
This was a wonderful tutorial, thank you for the refresh!
Thank you sooo much Michael De plama. You help a lots of people who want to know this imformative lesson you share on how to get a forklift licence. So.. So... Thank you good mate coz i am planing to take a forklift licence. I wish to meet you in personal. You are a good instructor.. God bless you and you family.
I second this ur a good man for making a very informative video like this.
Well Said with explaining every detail. As another comment said... it didn't explain the handlea & what they were for. However,I guess u will learn the specific forklift that you will have to operate. thanks
Great video on how to operate a forklift!
Damn, that's a good training video. Good work mate.
Extremely useful video, as someone who uses forklifts to regularly unstick the IBM 5150 personal computers attached to the backyard of the minarchist aardvark association's headquarters it made my life easier, now my Uruguayan warehouse coworkers won't humiliate me anymore because they know more about forklifts than me.
That's very interesting man! I really needed the info so i can continue both working on the Hadron Collider that is being built by Tibetan Monks in El Salvador by bringing iron ore, doorknobs, plastic bowls, pencils and small 1 ton orangutans to the rest of the worker crew, and so i could just use it for my daily use as i like to drive my Mitsubishi FM20AN Forklift to Taco Bell so i can eat the doors from their stove ovens and drink the anti-freeze they keep in their delivery vehicles! Good luck on your projects!
@@clericaltotalitarian I instantly knew I cannot take you seriously, I am the one who deserves the forklift driving certification.
You mentioned that for your "project" you're going to include orangutans and doorknobs, assuming you're from Faroe Islands you have no idea about what orangutans residing in Nunavut, Canada eat.
THEY ARE GONNA EAT YO DOORKNOBS.
I will let the forklift academy know about your fatal mistake so you don't get that damn certification, go ahead and try to get a clearly inferior bulldozer certification 🫵🏻😂
@@authmilitary WHAT!?!?! Said the guy who says he has to unstick IBM 5150s off the backyard! Everyone KNOWS you aren't supposed to use a forklift for that! You use a STEAMROLLER for that!!! You betrayed the forklift kind by abusing it for a steamrollers job!! You will never get forklift certified as you have no important materials to carry, such as mangonels, Togoan farmers, youtube video replay buttons, super glue, men and giatus patients, historical innacuracies, window frames, exhaust pipes, chairs or wooden bricks!! And everyone KNOWS you won't be carrying anything listed! Faker!
Thanks for that indepth training.
I have been driving forklift in Canada for a few months but I still need lots of training.
Hello good day, I'm a fork lift driver.. Please can you help me acquire good job?
Great
Pre check was amazingly explained and operations too👍 a to z
Thank you for the fantastic video!
thank you so much am enlightened by your instructions but was also expecting the livers operations because i have to pass this practical test tomorrow to receive the license by all means that why i had to search on youtube to equip myself with some knowledge.... as for the checks they are quite complicated to me but the safety aspect is always my priority. i'm nervous though my first time i don't to fail... thank you so much... good demonstration.
thank you ! simply learned !
Thanks, this will help me with the forklift traning course I'm going to do in a month.
True,very safe operating is very significant.Thank you,Sir
I got my forklift certification about 2 years ago, only got about 1 month experience driving the forklift
I'm starting a new role in 2 hours where i will be back on the forklift and I'm quite nervous, i appreciate the informative video
Glad to hear it! How did you go in the new role?
Yeah! How did ya go???
@@ForkliftProTips I'm loving it honestly, I'm working in a convention centre and it's been a thoroughly enjoyable experience all round
very good video this allowed me to teach one of my friends, he streams as well tysm!
thanks for your wonderful teaching mr. palma
It is very educational. Thank you for this video.
Thanks, perfect demonstration
We have NCII Training today. Watching your video 2x now.
How did you go?
Great video! Safety check around first!
The cleanest forklift I've ever seen
I have been watching every video I can find. Doing every practice test I can find. Now looking into operation, working the lift controls, pre inspection examples and I am now comfortable putting out money to get my certification. Thank you EVERYONE for the education. Now I am looking into some simulated forklift experience and I'll be ready to go.
Could you please tell me where did you find the practice test?
I have 24 solid years of experience, and although I am safety conscious, neither me or 99 percent of other people go through such a through inspection. Usually, it's Ok, the forks are attached, there's no puddle of hydraulic fluid on the ground and away you go. I promise you, virtually everyone who have a checklist to fill out with a forklift they drive everyday goes check, check, check etc. This is a very good instructional video and he did cover all safety aspects you need to watch out for.
I honestly believe I could go drive a fork hoist first try. I enjoyed the video and actually learnt something.
You quite possibly could. But it takes time to become skilled. And safe operation is paramount.
@S.Trades turns out when I went to sit my practical test I did past it, though I was there for a few hours practicing with a few other people. It's second nature to me now.
Excellent..
You are really a teacher.. 👍
Thank you very much for sharing Knowledge of forklift
hi,im actually a beginner watching your video really motivated me to learn hard thanks for your guidance
Glad to hear that!
Really a very nice and useful video for learners as well as for experienced forklift lift operators. 😘🇦🇪💐
Ahhh a Crown! I enjoy operating their RC's, and Reach trucks.
SH00T TH3PUMP I spent nearly six years working on all their trucks. I now do Doosan instead
Nice to see our trucks in a video outside our company demonstrations
Good video mate, very informative for new drivers and for refreshers like myself, however, i did notice that you forgot to apply the handbrake when you lowered the pallet, but just for video and training purposes you still pretended to release it anyway 😁🤭🤗🤣
Great informational video, thankyou. I'm booked in to aquire my fork lift ticket, next rosted day off. Cheers from brizzy. 👍
This is my first time video very useful instructions. Thank You
Very thorough...thank you
Great job, good info thank you
Thank you. I have just pass forklift license counting on your video 😊
Hi was it hard?
Awsome video and great aussie work mate..
Thank you for this video really needed this for my forklift job I’ve always use a stand up forklift never knew bout the sit down ones
this is an LF fork. dont even look at them, the jobs pay rubish, its not worth it.
Following you from the UAE
you did everything but explain what each operating lever does /up dawn tilt side to side.
Left stick - move forks up and down
Middle stick - tilt mast forward and backwards
Right stick - shift forks left and right
Exactly
DarkCybrid lol not all forklift trucks have the same controls here in England UK they are alot of trucks which have the controls which are switches
Patrick Rowe exactly
@@DarkCybrid until you get a cross directional lever and manifold setup... some nissan have them and so do lindy! Lindy have a hydrostatic gearbox and don't have a break they have a pedal for forward and a pedal for reverse and a cross directional hydraulic lever they are dangerous I hate working on them they are shit
I'm sure people do that full walk around testing every wheel nut every time. I'm sure they do. No one has ever missed it
If every operator did this procedure they would never get the work done. Most just do an abbreviated inspection which takes less than a minute.
Yep, looks good to me.
I love propane forklifts alot of fun and other fellow or former forklift drivers will know what I mean when I say fun lol . When I get my job done towards end of the day sometimes I like to have some fun go to an area with other drivers where there's no supervisors
Thanks for your training God bless you
I went from the home page to how a glock works to etiquette in Japan to how to operate a forklift.
Please give me back my life RUclips.
Offering a new life driving forklifts for a Japanese glock manufacturer
I really enjoyed this educational video as I myself am thinking of doing the course to get my ticket
Hi, Thanks for your video. It would have been so grateful that if you have introduced all 03 levers also.
Thank you very much for the lessons and everything was clear from the beginning but just after getting into the machine the camera was very far that I couldn't see how the gears were been operated
"Well greezed no damage!" Lol Great video was very helpful thank you!
Wow lovely thanks teacher 👍👍
Don't forget to put hand brake on when lower the goods from the rack .and the check sheet to tick of to say you have check it saves you missing items 😀
Thanks for teaching and reminding us.am Wamulongo Azed Forklift operator Coca-Cola bottling company/Renzori Uganda.
Parabéns daqui do Brasil 👏👷♂️
I start my forklift training tomorrow and have found your video to be very thorough.
The only thing that wasn't perhaps mentioned in the pre-start check, was looking at the logbook.
Very good knowledge 👌, this will help to people 👍, who is operating fork lifter.thank u sir
I loaded 120 pallets into trailers in 1 hour.. That’s how you drive a forklift 💯
❤ thank you boss for a nice video

When I pick up the load from top should I put the hand brake on or not?
Good training there thanks

Before starting should first check if in neutral position just incase.
Its like the more he talks the more his accent goes away.

Hi, I really enjoy your video it boost my confident level in handling forklift. Can I have this video so that my friend can learn from this video
Wanhosen Hosen you are welcome to share this with your friends.
Thank you very much ❤️🙏🏾
Dear,
Your presentation is really good.
Thank You.
Best Wishes,
Jahid.
Very grateful
Good class.
Very helpful
Nice education bro.
You don't put the mast fully back? But keep it in upright position? Is this how you were taught or are there just different rules per country?
13:17 you waited after raising mast, but never tested again if the hydraulic pressure may have dropped, by seeing if you could raising the mast to maximum height again?
Very well explained you must be a great trainer i want to know how to operate forklift i'm in pakistan could you please suggest men any way where i can get this skills ?
Awesome... thank you sir
Does this apply to the qld licence since its a nsw tafe course? Reason I ask I may be showing my team mate the ropes to operate a forklift. I have a qld forklift licence
