I did a job recently. When I first walked up to give quote the first thing they said was the previous quote was 8500. 😮. Walked the house detailing alllll the “hard” work. Told her I could do 5500 if she buys the paint. She jumped on it. Took two days work.
First day estimation my first for on my on llc I’m up at 2 am this guy is beyond cheap and has bushes that need to by tide back and in complete 86 degre sun today so I gotta work with the shade should I just charge by the hr ?! Some help and why do I charge I Ben a paint for 12 year interior specialist more but I was making 22 with that guy if 25 an hr too much invade I rise into unforseable obstacles , I already have to leave blow the crap with the bloc on leaves glide all to the house with a pressure washer first
Just to let you know how cheap he is he is my neighbor and drove by saw me washing my wheels the other day so he stopped by and asked if he could wash just my car real quick not the wheels so I said yeah no problem I was waiting for a coat of paint to dry and shutters anyway and then in my driveway he cleans the wheels himself using my rag that’s meant for paint caranuba wax cost $26 a half gallon. Then he proceeds to ask if he can borrow my bucket but not just my Home Depot bucket but the remaining soap and the rag in it so he can go up the street and wash his wife’s car. He took the water and the rag still haven’t gotten it back
I told him he can borrow my wheel cleaner and the hose will clean the wheels right off in a second remove all the iron in a second but he insisted on using a griots garage $13 microfiber mit seriously you guys wish me luck I’m so in love with painting I just so myself short now I’m 35 making 1520 bucks an hour I had to leave and at least try on my own. My body has about 20 years left in its knees and back if I’m lucky, a car accident I have two elderly parents to take care of one with stage for skin cancer
I yeah I live 20 min outside nyc in mine if the not expensive area codes that’s where all the traders live commute to the city I have a 20 exit 2 Hour Dr. each way I don’t wanna come off of bitter all my friends tell me I under sell myself so what if he says how about 17? I mean I guess I’ll make six 700 bucks this week before taxes and the gas to drive my truck 20 exits in the two hour back to town.
I just quit smoking cigarettes. I lost 60 pounds mostly due to landscaping work. I’m not gonna stand here and lie like i’m in some tiptop shape,
