the lever when pulled up engages the drive if a gear is selected. if pulled down then up, it engages the blade. there is no fly wheal break. iv looked. thx for the comment. a fly wheal brake is usually found on a Briggs 6-6.75 hp flat head.
by the way that lever is in fact the flywheel brake cable. what im guessing is that the cable is broken inside.
Lawn boys are the best. I would still pick a new lawnboy over a pathetic little Honda
