How can anyone overlook SHOTGUN MESSIAH? This band got me through the 90's and helped drown out the noise of grunge.

Thank you for sharing. Ive said for the longest time. Shotgun Messiah was the most underrated band of all time. Second Coming and Violent New Breed were the two most underrated records of all time and Harry Cody was the most underrated guitarist of all time.

I really like this band. I got into them about two years ago when this radio station called Hairnation played Heartbreak Blvd. I was completely blone away when I first heard it and immediately became a fan. Now it seems like this band is getting some attention because of Hair nation playing Heartbreak Blvd. More people are making videos on them and doing covers of them. I am really happy that you made a video on them. Thank you!

I'M glad you liked it I actually heard of this band years ago in the late 90's and listened to their album Second Coming a ton when I was in high school, Tim Skold's solo stuff is also great.

"...this radio station called Hair Nation..."
made me chuckle. SiriusXM is the best radio company in the world and subsequently their programs/channels are the kings of their respective scenes. Hair Nation is the biggest 80's glam metal radio station out there. (IMO)

I agree with everything. The fist album was eh, it came with a SHOTGUN MESSIAH stencil too! In which i used to airbrush a shirt that most of the band signed at Toads place in NewHaven CT. Loved Second Coming, and it still hold up, I Want More EP is awesome. Acoustic versions are really cool! Violent New Breed was killer also. Would love to see them again. Shotgun Messiah/Kik Tracee tour PLEASE? Thanks

These guys were bad ass! I wasn't a big fan of Zinny's voice either, but the rest of the band had it goin' ON! 🤘

They were so under-rated. Such great songs and energy. Even Violent New Breed has some head slamming songs- though I personally like Second Coming the best.

    Inconsistency is their downfall
From glam to punk to industrial rock ... What's next if they weren't disbanded ???

Second coming is a masterpiece I don't give a s*** about the rest of the albums even if they're halfway decent

I much prefer Zinny on vocals. All 3 albums were great. They were a tight band.

I'd even throw in another phase, the I Want More EP was essentially a punk rock record. In my opinion, I think part of Shotgun Messiah's problem was their name. Incredible band but the name just didn't fit them.
