Zinny is a good friend of mine. He is a great guy!
I was a little kid when I first heard shotgun messiah in the early 90s, loved that debut album and always wondered what ever happened to the original lead singer, now I know, thanks....
I live i Stockholm and I se Zinny from time to time. He still visits the lokal rockbars sometimes to look at live musik. And he is also in a motorcycle club.
Oh nice tell him I said hey
Sweet video big fan of Zinny Zan.
Shotgun Messiah were a legendary band,to me what made them was Harry Cody on guitar
the solo on 'livin without you' is superb..have all three releases
Regards John from Australia
Thanks so much John and yeah I agree I feel the exact same way
zinny one of my fav vocals
same hes got a certain maturity in his voice compared to his easy action days
November 30, 1993 I was fortunate enough to perform at the Bayou club in Washington DC as lead guitarist in the opening act "No Justice" a local DC/MD/VA original band for Shotgun Messiah. It was an awesome show that night.
Zinny is amazing
I love your sincerity and love for the music. We should definitely talk about doing an episode together of Shotgun Messiah
Thanks so much and yeah working together sounds good to me have you a contact email so we can arrange a date and time ?
Hell yeah thank you bro I’m a struggling young musician I’m 18 and I’m greatful that you exist to keep the history alive and music alive thank maybe someday you’ll be talking about me
Thank you that means alot to me it isnt easy for artists today i wish you the best of luck have you got a band ?
Thanks, your video had made me ' A SM loyal fan" feel great knowing that there is someone who love them like i do, Thanks again.
dude thank you so much thats really my day im so glad
I was 17 when I discovered SM. Got my high school buddy into them with Second Coming. Saw them sound check when they were supporting Second Coming (Don't know why I didn't go to the show) and saw them live on Violent New Breed. So from an American perspective I was there for the long haul. I was just checking my youtube comments and ironically my first YT comment in 2008 was on a......Shotgun Messiah video.
Wow thats pretty cool i think I discovered them in 08 i would have loved to be around during ther hayday
@@RichyKearnsproductions When I saw them sound check at Alrosa Villa (where Dimebag Darrell was murdered) they did I Want More and Heartbreak Blvd. Pretty damn cool. Timmy did not look like a front man at that point. When I saw them on Violent New Breed he settled into the role at that point. Music was kick ass back in the 80's and 90's. From Judas Priest to Prince to Peter Tosh it was all good. Thank god. I could rattle off a whole list of great music.
Great video and also my favorite band from the start and to the end. I still have them in cassette lol
Thanks for the effort .... I love this shit!!!!
Bosse is a very very ❤nice good guy.And Easy Actions albums are very great 😂 The song! In middle of....is super😊 I have s lot of private memories from this era in Stockholm whit them😮🎉 All the best mates and rock on rockers❤
Ric Browde who produced that first poison album has later said they had that Easy Action Album there in the studio with them and literally just stole the song from them, but it was settled out of court later.
Interesting info, thanks for making the video :)
Man, that was amazing. Thank you. Kind of video that I will come back to watch it again!
Thanks for making this ! So awesome!!
It must have been around the time Shotgun Messiah released their first album that I started liking them or heard of them, I'm pretty sure it was sometime after I saw the video for "Don't care about nothing" I wound up getting the Cassette and later the CD. I still have a couple songs on my Playlist, "Heartbreake blvd" & "Don't care about nothing".
They were a fantastic band for sure
@@RichyKearnsproductions their music at the time was and still is right up my alley, I like both kinds of music. Heavy & Metal..🤘
good material
thanks man ive got more videos like this one if you wana check out the channel :)
@@RichyKearnsproductions I will thank you
nice job on the vid dude
I'm a huge Shotgun Messiah fan and really like the first album with Zinny. I like Second Coming even more though. I also liked that Zinny got together with Stixx to make the live album. Good stuff.
Same man I'm a fan of all the album's each one was brilliant they allways switched it up and nothing ended up sounding bad I think
Awesome video !! Huge Shotgun Messiah fan !! What is the song playing at the beginning of the video ? Thanks !! Rock On 🎸🎸🤘🤘
ruclips.net/video/WceydFM5Rks/видео.html its a song called rock on rockers
I fucking love that song " sex drugs and rock n roll "
I love it
Poison stole their whole act from Kix, so you have to wonder......
wow i did know that
Zinny was forced out of Shotgun Messiah because Tim Skold wanted to be the lead singer. That was just an awful idea after listening to their next two records.
In fairness tho second coming was decent
Getting rid of Zinny so Tim could sing lead was perfect. Zinnys vocal style was not going to progress them further. Sorry but, 1st album was just cringe vocally. Though the back up vocals are what stood out for me. Tim was obviously the star of that lineup. Second Coming and Violent New Breed were game changers for SM and are a couple of big faves of mine in a very big musical catalog of many genres. Both albums musically and image, were perfect imo. Got to see them on each of those tours. Even got to have about an hour chat with Tim while he hung out during load in at The Mirage in Minneapolis during the VNB tour, as me and a buddie worked nearby and decided to stop in to see if we could catch a glimpse of the guys since we saw their bus outside. Wish Tim and Harry would have kept SM going, but I’ve followed and supported Tim in everything he’s done since.
