My goodness, this is psychology as literature. Thank you, Alan. The words you use, the images you use ... so emotive, so literary. For my right brian, this resonates. Thank you for your truth telling, for your unstinting support for all of us who are working hard to become securely attached.

Thank you for sharing your strength, hope and clarity with us all, Alan. I look forward to seeing, hearing and knowing what you have to offer in upcoming messages. I'm especially curious to learn more about what self differentiation looks like in relationships with a history of attachment injury and present family of origin enmeshment.
That said, you are treasured and a treasure of a human being. Thank you helping me to feel part of a healing tribe. Much love to you brother 💜

I still don’t understand. Should those people stay together or they should break up? If a relationship going through all of that, is it good that they still choose each other? (yet I’m jealous of that dynamic, cause at least they have each other.) I’m more confused after watching this.

Don't limit yourself to black and white, either-or thinking. It's about process and participating in the process. There is no definitive answer where someone can tell you what to do. You arrive at that understanding for yourself. We empower ourselves to be able to make these types of decisions and must stop looking to others to tell us what to do. Good luck as you find your clarity when entering the process.

      Thanks for responding.
Unfortunately I have not met anyone who wants to experience life with that fundamental curiosity, sitting with pain, challenges, and not so good feelings. I feel like I’m the only one out here. I observed a lot of people and they are ok with not doing the work. I used to try to get the men I was in relationships with to do the work. Like you said in your other videos, I can’t try to point out the things I think they need to work on, so I stopped. Now all I see are guys who just don’t want to. It’s hard finding someone who listens to videos like this and reflect and work on themselves.
