You’re welcome. Funnily enough. I was going to make this video even if Beatley Tone didn’t make his. I really did have this written down as a topic over a year ago. Plus after I saw your video I immediately started writing down my list. But I’ve always thought The White Album contained two different albums in one. A pure rock and a children’s just mixed in with one another. This was a fun topic to tackle though. Thanks for starting the thread.
Good choices for the 2 albums. The Beatles Ballads album was in my collection in the classroom when I was a pre kindergarten teacher in the eighties.I think I will frame that unique album cover.I first saw the picture in the Beatles illustrated lyrics book.
It is an interesting album cover. I don’t think it would have worked for the White Album as a it was, but the songs I took off to create A Doll’s House would work with it.
Well heeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyy. That was an amazing hey 10/10. Well done Dustin for pulling this together . Great track listing. I ill include the rock album in my compilation of results when I eventually get around to it. Good work and thanks for the many shout outs
Don’t know if I can ever pull one off that big again. Glad I got a perfect 10 on it though. This has been fun listening to the White Album in a different way. It really is a great album as is, but can be very interesting separating them like this.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. I remember listening to the White Album and that striking me how distinctly different every other song was. Pure rock to child like.
Hey Beatles Dustino. Have you encountered coloured Beatles albums? I have the White Album in a colored combination of cream/clear and the sound was reducing blatantly on certain tracks. I googled: Does coloured/Picture disk's affect the sound Quality? and got some interesting yes answers. Just wondering what your thoughts are?
I know there’s an official release from the late 70’s on white. Any other colors would be unofficial. Those older colored vinyls and picture disc do have inferior sound quality. Especially picture disc. And especially unofficial.
It really does break down great from a pure rock album to a children’s album. And keeping the standard sequencing, just with the other songs removed works great too. Fun playlists to listen to for sure.
When considering the single disc white album everybody comes up with different ideas about what should be included and excluded. And in this digital age we all make our own versions. And if we change our minds we can make another version. In fact we can make as many versions as we want! In my re-invented alternative what-if world of Beatles albums, I add singles and EP tracks to the relevant albums and leave out the one or two songs I don't like. (btw, not liking a song doesn't mean I think it is bad, just that it doesn't grab me). For the White Album I include Hey Jude and Revolution and leave out more stuff than I would on most other albums (Rev 9, Wild Honey Pie, Why Don't We Do It In The Road, quite a few others). Because Yellow Sub has only four unique songs, I add most of them to MMTour (and move Penny and Strawberry to Pepper). Hey Bulldog I add to the White Album. I group the songs mainly according to recording dates. Across The Universe is one I am not decided about - I don't like the Spectorised version so I go with a wildlife version, but it was recorded in early 1968 so does it go on MMT, White Album or Get Back/Let It Be? One day I will make a 'What-if' playlist of albums that does not strictly consider recording dates as a factor, I think that could look very different...
That does sorta make the digital age great. We can change things up to our playlists now. Add songs to albums they should belong on and such. Totally agree too. Just because I say I don’t like a song or album or whatever in a ranking or reimagined track listing, doesn’t mean I despise it. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I think George Martin, if he had his way, may have made 3 sides out of the group of songs. This would make a single album and side 2 of "Yellow Submarine".
I felt a lot of those other songs could work on Yellow Submarine. And the songs from Yellow Submarine on this one. They could have made a second Beatles themed animated film based around the songs from my proposed children’s album version.
I think the White album is perfect as is.Except i would drop Revolution #9 and Dont Pass Me By and replace with an alternate version of Hey Jude and also the unrealeased Not Guilty.
The White Album is fantastic as is. I absolutely love. But it’s fun to think of what could have been. I did leave Revolution 9 off of both of my albums. And totally forgot to mention why or anything about it. I actually toys around with including Not Guilty too. But I do love Don’t Pass Me By.
Thanks for the shout out! Really enjoyed your idea on the two albums, it certainly would work!

Fun fact: The working title was dropped in favour of Family's debut album "Music in a Doll's House" that was already out.
Just “A Doll’s House” still could have worked. But interesting to know.

What a fantastic idea, you have done really well with this one, really enjoyed this video, keep up the good work 😅, cheers, Dave

Nice way to sort this Dustin, I like the creativity here!

That’s a darn good track list. I’ll make a playlist and add this to the others to see what I like best.
