You know that camera guy is going to put directed by Quentin tarantino on his resume
It's already on Imdb
Shit, wouldn't you? I know I would lmao!!! Just like I can say I drove a Bentley once... about 5 feet.
Camera intern: "Ohmigod, this is the best moment of my life."
Lol
No doubt about it 🤣🤣👌🏻👌🏻
The Destined Place - On Hiatus even tho it’s a joke I woulda been stoked about it. If anyone appreciates the camera dudes it’s probably Tarantino
I dunno if it would be an intern operating one of the main cameras on the tonight show
TheBirdieView why are you the way that you are?
I can’t see him retiring, he loves movies too much.
That's the thing though....he would know when he is creating....or straining to put something out.
They where talking about doing a star trek movie
Jude Ashton No he’s serious. Its hard making movies that good.
Yeah, it kinda reminds me of Roger Ebert, who always reviewed films until his tragic death.

Nobody laughs at Quentin's jokes more than Quentin. lol
except fallon who laughs every joke more than every human soul in existance
I wonder how many likes are lost from people not wanting to change 69. Because if i like a comment, but it already has 69 likes, then i don't like it (even though in reality i do actually like it)
@@egeerdem8272 better to laugh than to cry
Not even Fallon... and that man laughs A LOT
Just like in reservoir dogs when they get them color coded names
Never thought Tarantino would be so happy about being on this show
Better this show than Kimmel. Jimmy is pretty much the nicest host ever
@@masonhorsley1505 Jimmy freaked out once when someone touched his hand lol
@@_Daniel_Plainview was it after he had his accident? He fucked his finger up really bad, over a year and the injury is still visable *Cringes*
I guess its because Jimmy acted before becoming a host so Quintin can talk to someone about movies and them actually enjoy it because they can understand what hes talkin about, Im just guesing Lol
Maybe he's just watched the Tonight Show all his life? It could still be a big deal.
I love how he explained the way music inspires his creative process.
Its genius and makes sense because his music scores are amazing.....
loved that! Man i'd love a room full of Vinyls! I kind of do a similar thing..i associate a genre of music to an idea i come up with and then seek out that music when i'm writing the idea.
That was fascinating. I’ve never heard that before. I always just assumed everything else was scripted and maybe he might have some ideas for songs. Not the complete foundation.
@@dwanshamburger6418 Totally!
Tarantino is, and will forever be a LEGEND. Love the guy.
True Romance ❤❤

Quentin can't retire, hes still so passionate.
He is neurotic and nutty and brilliant all at the same time
@Ironclaw XII Maybe so but that personality is also why he's such a brilliant filmmaker.
I love him but he’s coked out lol
He’s always screaming. It’s great
It's called eccentric
And high!🤣🤣😂
One of the very best filmmakers to have ever lived. I just couldn't love him more.
I just hope his best movies are not behind him.
It's awesome to hear that he basically makes a movie based on the soundtrack (in a way). I kind of understand it because sometimes I hear a song and think that it would be perfect for a scene in a movie and I can already imagine it 😁
Tarantino is sooooo expresive and energic. He’s great
he once told me i had great feet!
You can see that Jimmy really adores him.
No interruptions, genuine excitement and no fake laughter.
Now that’s rare!
One of the most creative minds in all of entertainment
How you know?

Agree with you 👍
I've never clicked so fast to a video.
I love you, Tarantino.

Camerman was like... I doh get paid enough for this sheet -.-
-.-
Poor cameraman! :( -.-
Greatest moment of his life
As a cameraman I would piss myself if Tarantino directed my camera for few seconds
Doh!!
Quentin is a Top 10 Director of All Time
K K I would put him top 3 imo, he’s never made a bad movie and has made some masterpieces, but ion think he’s better then Scorsese
Nah. He's good, but there is a lot of directors.
@@connerbruce9730 Did you like death proof?
Spike Lee >>
Top 3 at least
Fallon please be this fun and open with everyone. Best interview you’ve done in a long time
Connor Schall it didn't feel as fake as they usually do
James De Right? All thanks to Tarantino, I suppose
I was thinking about this too. Is he just fanboying over Tarantino so much that he's scaling it back a bit? Or is he just careful because I seem to recall that if Tarantino gets annoyed in an interview he really doesn't fuck around?
@@odkres they seem to be friends or something, Quentin seems pretty comfortable in his company, a real surprise tbh.
odkres Na what interviewers have learned is to get the best out of Quentin u have to let him speak n don’t cut him off. He can sell the show alone
I love how Tarantino always mentions Jackie Brown, it's his most character-sympathetic movie and stands out among his filmography for the way the characters feel really loved and honored by the filmaker, not just as cool caricatures.
I really enjoyed "Jackie Brown," and was amazed by the performances Tarantino got out of Pam Grier and Robert Forster -- two actors long-since discarded by the mainstream. Before, while I had appreciated QT's style, I considered him more of a showman than a top director. Jackie Brown put everything in perspective -- Tarantino is a top director and a great showman.
It was adapted from a novel called Rum Punch, by Elmore Leonard :) Elmore was basically the book version of Quentin Tarantino and just such an awesome author!! Jackie Brown is a character featured in Rum Punch :)
The amount of times I’ve searched “Jimmy Fallon Quentin Tarintino” on RUclips, I wouldn’t be surprised if the website just asked the tonight show to have him on
Imagine spending an evening with Quentin just watching movies and having a good conversation about them with him. That would be a dream come true.
There's no other person in the whole world that I regard quite as self-made as Quentin Tarantino.
He is that one guy that makes me believe you can do anything and be anything.
Reservoir Dogs turned me into a movie buff.
You're acting like a first year thief, I'm acting like a professional!
Yeah me too
Quentin is so great. He’s a nerd with a dream. That spark shows when he speaks about what he likes.
You can tell he's into the interview when he accidentally drops the F- bomb
Probably the only Jimmy Fallon interview I've enjoyed ever. It's refreshing to see him take mild interest in his guest without clapping every time, followed by a soft touch of the shoulder.
This is the first time I've seen Jimmy be so chill when someone swears on the show lol
His movies are unique, movies that you go watch and say... "that's a Quentin!", as people say for Tim Burtom's.
Actually the same thing with other directors.
Who am I? No
I swear I could just feel the way he expresses himself through every one of his movies. Fantastic director and screenwriter
I love how Jimmy is hanging on Tarantino's every word. He's so engrossed in the story like a little kid.
It's me Wangle one of the greatest directors of all time
it's kind of exaggerated but at the same time not. but yeah it's interesting to hear a successful creative describe their process. i suppose by looking interested he's supporting quentin
He actually gasped when Quentin said it became a 2-part episode...
I have seen that episode of Golden Girls so many times and always wish he would go into it. I am glad he finally did
Harvey Keitel was also responsible for reservoir dogs
Muhib Rehman yeah, he was the one who actually invested in it and believed in it from preproduction.
I think he meant that Golden Girls fed him and helped him pay his bills during pre-production, 3,000 dlls back then was a lot of money.
Barry Super no, he already sold true romance before Harvey was involved with reservoir dogs. This has been confirmed in interviews. Tarantino had met Tony Scott(I believe this part I heard from the audio commentary to true romance by Tarantino himself, maybe Tony Scott). Tony read both true romance and reservoir dogs and wanted to do both. He told tony he could buy one of the scripts but not both as he wanted to direct one of them. History shows which one tony bought. Then, Tarantino met Lawrence bender and told him about reservoir dogs. Tarantino wanted to do it with 30k. When lawrence read it, he said it’s better than 30k, to give him one month and if he got interest in a month, that they would try and make it the right way(bigger budget), if not they could shoot it with the 30k he got from true romance. Lawrence got interest in a month when Harvey called Lawrence and Quentin saying he wanted to do the movie.
I love where he describes how he selects the songs for his soundtracks, and how the songs are integral to the creation of the film. Cool!
I remember watching the rerun of this episode, never realized he was an Elvis! I love GG and Q. Never in a million years would I have thought he’d be in one of the best GG’s episodes!!! That’s amazing!!
He also directed an ER episode
This was one of the best interviews on this show. Love when guests talk about the process.
I'm here for the GOLDEN GIRLS first and foremost.
ty you for being a friend
Exactly!
Hands down the best show I ever watched 😤
and a confidant.
Exact same in 2021
Tarantino has the best film soundtracks and its not even close

Golden girls is one of the best comedy shows ever. The writing and acting was amazing!
Everytime I see a Tarantino video. He's always full of enthusiasm and happiness
This guy’s just a brilliant artist all around, truly loves it.
Holy shit, this just blew my mind...as an obsessive music love and someone that lives and breaths music.....yass...I always felt that he is a sound guy....
These two can sit in a bar and have a conversation for HOURS. Great chemistry.
He seems like such a genuine and easy guy to talk to
Golden girls is LIFEEEE!!! I watch it every night b4 bed. All my friends know how much I love them so I always get golden girls gifts an they set my ringtone at their theme song. 😍
A “Black Ray” 😂😂😂
That’s hilarious lol
It’s 4K lol.
"I got this DVD..." as he holds a 4K Ultra Combo Pack
It's like moms calling a Xbox a "Nintendo"
These kinds of stories are awesome, and you can tell Jimmy is excited about having him there. This was great.
He is so much fun to listen to. He is so passionate about whatever he is talking about at the moment, you can’t help but be captivated and enthralled.
“In the case of django unchained I’m thinking about spaghetti western music”... and all of a sudden the end shoot out has a James brown and 2Pac remix 😂😂😂✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
I love him. A lot of my film education is based off of Tarantino.
Love you Tarantino! Thank you for being you and allowing us to be apart of your vision in life. You're movies have influenced my brother and I in such a positive way through the years, you are by far our favorite director. Thank you
He is a wonderful humble person, a screenwriter, an actor, a director and his movies are always fun to watch.
I like how Jimmy got him to give nearly his entire process for constructing a film.
The cameraman is like “yes sir”
I could watch Tarantino interviews all day long. He is so interesting, cool and funny. He is SO passionate about what he does, and it shows. Best director of his generation.
Quentin has an amazing talent with finding the right music for his scenes. It just blends perfectly and makes the scenes alot better.
Guy's a legend and his interview seems so profound
Fun fact: Christian Slater's character is loosely based on QT since he was also into elvis in True Romance.
Clarence Worley worked at a comic book shop and QT worked at a video store so more or less he's playing QT.

QT's soundtracks are LEGENDARY - and I had no idea that he starts with the music before the writing/producing! I don't know of anyone else who does it this way, and it's incredible. I really hope he keeps making movies as awesome as Once Upon a Time.
One of my favorite episodes of The Golden Girls. I noticed his name on the credits while I was watching and couldn't believe it. And would you believe it...the greatest show episode is on Hallmark NOW!!
Tarantino's 10th (and last) movie: "THE GOLDEN RESERVOIR GIRLS"
Dorothy Zbornak: Mrs. White
Rose Nylund: Mrs. Blonde
Blanche Deveraux: Mrs. Orange
Sophia Petrillo: Mrs. Pink
Wouldn't Rose Nylund be Mrs. White? 😏
“CAMERA TWO SLOW MOVING MAKE IT DRAMATIC” 😂😂😂😂 i love himmm he’s so funny
I wish I was his best friend. I could learn A LOT about music, movies, history and pop culture with him.
We love you Quentin
From dusk till dawn is always going to be a classic film. Tarantinos a legend forever!
Most enthusiastic person on the planet! I love ya Quentin snd it’ll be a sad day when you do retire.
Heck yeah I love the golden girls so much my mom showed it to me at the age of 7 and I remember the episode
Finally! I’ve been waiting for this!
As a musican, and a musical director wanna-be, this moved me to no end.
Best QT interview ever for me. Thanks!!!
Can’t stop starting at his thumbs
enjoyed this interview.
I’m watching golden Girls ….I think “noooo it can’t be!” …and here we are ⚡️ This is so perfect, my all time fave movies are always Tarantino’s! I’m so happy I caught this 😂 made my day ! ❤️He’s a total genius, such a huge fan forever!
Jimmy lives the moment of .. having QT direct a shot in his show.. very impressive presence of mind.. Thanks for the upload..
He maybe weird but can't deny he is a good director
nobody survives even one bit My favorite director. He’s also an amazing writer!
He is one of the best, but I was disappointed by OUATIH. I had such high hopes for it, but I had to force myself to watch it to the end. I liked Brad & Leo's performances, but I was bored by the movie in general.
L tilli probably because you were expecting something totally different. Take it from me: my second viewing was waaaay better than my first because I knew what to expect. Give it another chance
L tilli yeah. You need to give it a rewatch sometime in the future. I believe it’s right there with Pulp Fiction as a masterpiece in his resume. The film was more a slice of life / character study following the main actors during three days in their lives in 1969. It gave the movie a lot of freedom and room to breath because there wasn’t that much plot getting in the way of the story. It’s a vibe piece and an amazing work. QT worked his way up to this classic.
Being"normal" is booooooring...

jimmy when tarantino curses: *calmly* "that's okay we'll bleep you out"

How could you not love this person?
I love that both are enjoying it.
Watching this in quarantine and hearing Quentin saying “black-ray” had me dying of laughter
Ironically, that push in really did make his story even more interesting.
this just made me love him more
First time i see Jimmy not interrupting. He loves tarantino movies so much.
I remember watching True Romance I said this is the best movie I ever saw then I saw Quentin wrote it, every since I have been a fan of the great man!
And it's still great!
Nothing can beat that Gary Oldman scene xD
I hope he wins for Best Original Screenplay this year!
He already received the Golden Globe! It's tight between him and Steven Zaillian for me.
I’m pulling for Knives Out for screenplay this year
Marriage Story for me!
Parasite
@yourfavoritepizzaboy As much as I love Parasite (best movie of the year imo), there’s no way Hollywood would give Best Original Screenplay/Picture to a foreign film...
Best way to do interviews. Ask question and dont interrupt when someone answering, let them talk. That part with Tarantino and soundtrack was awesome
1:34 Fallon's CPU had a malfunction
Dude’s crazy, but still one hell of a filmmaker!
What a great glimpse into his process
Like I needed yet another reason to adore The Golden Girls
“A black ray” My favorite filmmaker doesn’t know what 4K is 😭
Well, he does not care about digital filmmaking like AT ALL. It's not surprising he does not know how a 4K Blu-Ray looks like, I doubt he ever even bought one.
He knows what 4K is, but was probably not familiar with the packaging for 4K Blu-Rays. The text is also pretty small for him to read on the spot as well. Black-Ray is at least a funny joke, whereas Fallon calls it a DVD lol.
This makes me wonder how he watches movies cause he sure as hell wouldn't stream them
He’s so old school
@@TheJadongrant he owns a cinema

Jimmy wouldn’t be asking him that question if he had watched Pulp Fiction thoroughly.
Or if he watched True Romance...
Every question in these shows, they already know the answer, but they asks anyway
Next thing you know Jimmy will probably ask him if he likes to see womens feet.
Ironclaw XII i guess you’re a Falloniac.
