When QT is talking about how Aldo The Apache having the rope burn scar around his neck, when I 1st seen Inglorious Basterds and that scene, I immediately thought of 'Hang Em High" and in my imagination, I had my own scenario of how Aldo got it! The fact QT didn't ever tell us how or really even hint as to how he got it, is truly why I love his style! Its his movie, but he lets us make it our own personal, intimate film alongside him as well!
18:34 This is a prime example of "I made it but don't get your hopes up because there isn't enough room for the booth of us" and a Quentin shutting that shit down.
" because its so much fun " LMAO i love him so much .. BRILLIANT !!! " Iwant to play you as my audience I want to be the conductor and you're my Orchestra" Love It !!!!
I love his idea of creating these characters and letting the dialogue flow from them. I find as a writer it's easier said than done, but if you put enough time in creating characters it should be doable.
Tarantino will go down as my favorite director. All of his movies are fun, enjoyable, well written, well cast, great re watching value, structure, set pieces, costumes need I go on? This man is on of the number one film fans and it shows in all his work
I just can't explain how happy I am looking at this channel building over a year. I have been one of the earliest subscriber of this channel and it has helped me a lot. Thank you very much!❤️
This video has been a really great learning experience. People pay a shit ton of money to go to writing school and learn from some random teacher but I get to learn from the best. 👍🏻👍🏻
I never thought about that. If I'm ever having writers block, all I have to do is float around my heated pool for a few hours! Haha joking aside, these are great bits of advice.
I think Tarantino is the best screenwriter that ever walked the earth. Also the paperback from the screenplay of reservoir dogs and pulp fiction arrived today. And now a new video from this amazing channel, also Tarantino related. Thanks for making this helpfull videos🤗
Quentin says he would consider making his last movie be a Kill Bill 3, but the movie that I really would like him to make before he retires from filmmaking is…what becomes of Jules after he had his revelation to change and no longer be an assassin. I know, the TV show Barry kind of tired to show something similar, but we have no idea what direction Jules might go, outside of the first thing that popped into his head when asked, that he would walk the earth like Caine in Kung Fu. But would he really? There’s always a gravity-like pull that happens when people try to break out of their habits. But that doesn’t have to result specifically in being tempted to continue assassinating people. Not unless, maybe, he kind of “psychologically assassinates” them. 28 ish years later, I’m still rooting for Jules and I’d be curious to learn what became of him…truthfully, much more than I’m curious to know what became of the bride and/or her daughter. (Though I have to believe that if QT really wants to make that film that he’ll likely take it in a direction which I’m not imagining).
Whomever failed to name this video "Q Tips" needs to partner up with an imaginative person! (if you leave out the "-" between the Q & the T it's not trademark infringement, since consumers are not going to confuse your video for cotton swabs)
I didn't think any of his movies after pulp fiction were very good. Lots of shit going on in the kung fu stuff and the Nazi stuff , but just seemed they were missing something.
Brad Pitt has a rope burn that isn't explained in that movie because while Quentin was writing it he watched Hang Em High with Clint Eastwood from 1973 and copied that like he always copies stuff. It's why I'm not a bit fan. I like the first 2 movies a lot, That's about it, No characters do not "come from inside him". Nor do his stories. They come from other movies. he's good at dialog, period
I'm the guy who is still wondering what the fuck was in the briefcase... and that's the way I want it to stay!!! I don't ever want to know because it's more fun to me not knowing!!! I want my first movie to be totally void of as many of the "rules" to making a great movie as I can leave out, but I gotta learn the "rules" first so that I know what not to do and so that no one can call me the dumbass who doesn't know what he's doing!!! I'm autistic so of course I'm going to do it totally different than most people would!!!!!!!
He's so good with his films.
He's so good with his stories.
He's so good with his words.
So glad he’s not pretentious about being interviewed. So much valuable info. My guess is before or after his last film he’ll do a tv series

"...It's not your job to create vision it's your job to have a vision !!!!...
He is so deep

Agreed

Thank you! It means a lot! 💟✅💯🙌
I could listen to him talk about movies all day.
ur gonna love the podcast he's doing with roger avery then
Going to that blank piece of paper is the single most soothing task that a fellow could ever dream of performing.
Many excellent tips all around. QT is one of my favorite writer-director.
His passion always shines through, he always inspires others to take up the role of film writing.
"At 12 years old, maybe you couldn't tell the difference, but I could." Q. Tarantino
I love so much the advice in 6:00 minutes, truly deep advice
This video has been a really great learning experience. People pay a shit ton of money to go to writing school and learn from some random teacher but I get to learn from the best. 👍🏻👍🏻
When you watch someone talk about movies with such vigour and enthusiasm and energy it’s really inspiring
didn't think just compiling clips could make for such a good video
Great tips ❤️ Great video 👌🏽
What a Legend of contradiction in film. A GOAT in his niche ❤
I think Quentin should start writing books after he's done with his last film. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood novelization was absolutely brilliant!
Cinema Speculation!
Yeah
Very cool montage and clips. Thank you for sharing this
18:47 the reaction of Rodriguez haha, "can't argue with that"
I never thought about that. If I'm ever having writers block, all I have to do is float around my heated pool for a few hours! Haha joking aside, these are great bits of advice.
Kill Bill volume 3!!! That's awesome. Could you imagine?

Because it's so much fun Jane
♥️ thanku to the channel for all this education 🙏🏻
💟💯
Amazing writer & director.
Pure gold
Can you do a video where the screen writer is writing to a movie that is told through narration
He is the greatest cinephile I've ever seen.
Be OBSESSED with what you do, and you’ll be this guy.
He's the man!
Thank you 🥰🥰😍
I’m such a fan of his, that I have already seen every one of these interviews. It’s a little embarrassing xD
Thanks! I was stuck from 2 days.
Now it's time to rise like #Batman
Iam the only one who wants Quentin to write graphic novels 😊😜
No you're not. Not the only one.
I'm very late but he wrote a django/zorro crossover comic
there are some django comics out there!
Thats a Bingo 🤟
He wrote a once upon a time in Hollywood book
Epic.
Seeing Quentin argue with an angry Karen about violence in movies is the funniest thing in the world to me.
So intelligent
works for me, i run on cheatsheets, thank you
Any one else teared up when Quentin talked about his last film? 😢
I'm lazy so I love "the only responsibility you have is to be true to your characters."
fun guy, he's legend
Friend and I joked in the theatre during Kill Bill that part 3 was supposed to come out in 20 years...
Потому что это весело)))
💯💪🏿✊🏿❣️
Kill Bill 3 would be interesting
Thanks for watching the WHOLE video! 💟✅💯😉😍
@@OutstandingScreenplays thanks for the upload :)
I‘ve watched the others, too.
Yeah, but that story's been told. No need to tell any more of it.
If he actually sticks to only making 10 films then I hope he makes one more original
👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥
Me i create, imagine and see movies in my mind but i don't know how to write it down .. 😕
He'll never see this but here I go...Marty Robbins song "El Paso."
Kill Bill 3 would be awesome, up to that point my favourite movie of Quention will be Jackie Brown.
I think that KRON 4 lady might be the worst person alive.
It’s sad to imagine being in an age post-Tarantino, but man. His shit doesn’t age a day
Which video is the part where he says it's your job to have a vision.
🤩👍👏👏👏
what's the song?
'Steal from the best, then ruin it.'
Quating stuff is already a sign of stupidity, but the quote not making any sense is even worse.
He's the only modern day filmmaker/screenwriter that I enjoy listening to about making movies.
18:40
He's made some of the best movies of all time and I love them, but I get the feeling he is annoying as hell to be around.

I think he's wrong though . you need some talent or technical skill . Making a film is very hard work
I didn't think any of his movies after pulp fiction were very good. Lots of shit going on in the kung fu stuff and the Nazi stuff , but just seemed they were missing something.

Hater
never use that kind of intro ever again
that was awful
A shame he supports Israel T _ T
You're speaking to me. I can't play pretend, but I can tell the truth.
