I tried commenting on another video not sure if I did or didn’t because I can’t find it. I’m just starting my own tree company. Currently just have a 99 f150 5.4L 4x4, a trailer, and some saws and climbing gear. I need something for the piles of brush. Then those heavy logs so I don’t have to cut them 20 times and hurt my back throwing on a trailer. Would you recommend I get the V1000? And will the stump grinder be viable for my business?
I am not 100% sure on that yet. My V1000 should arrive next month and then I’ll start reviewing and comparing the machines. I think so, the 1000 should be able to pick up more weight than the 450, the 450 does ok. I like the stump grinder, but I hear from professionals that’s it’s terrible. 🤷♂️ The 450 is 2500lbs, the 1000 is 3500lbs. The stump grinder is like 300lbs. So your 5.4l should do fine as long as you don’t have too much other weight on your trailer. You should be able to pull about 8k lbs. the grapple would be handy for you moving debris.
I want to see what the new teeth look like on the stump grinder and in action. Please. Another question. Does the gray housing where the cooler is get hot???
I plan to get the stump grinder repaired this week and next weekend I have a few huge stumps to work on. On a hot summer day it was hot after running it for a few hours. Felt like the grey would burn my arm.
Was Dean clear with you on replacement parts after the year warranty? He seems to be being vague with me on this. I am ready to submit my 30% down...but worried.
Still waiting for my order to ship to me, It's been 7 weeks so far. If you talk to Dean can you get him to expedite my order. He told me 2 wks originally. Also, I see that you had to repair the stump grinder. What happened? I've got one on order, too.
He ran into it with his brush cutter, severed a wire and broke the power supply cord. Watch the video with the thumbnail IS IT STILL GOOD. Move to time 6:25
I ordered mine late August with 8 attachments. They just finished testing it, so hopefully, it will be on its way shortly. They just came off a long traditional holiday Oct 1st-7th. They also had another holiday last month which they were down a couple days. They also have been super busy.
Do you have Deans contact info? Did you ask him? He has been pretty upfront with me through my purchase. I smashed my brush cutter down onto the stump grinder and cut through all the wires while unloading it from the trailer. Lift the attachments high enough coming off the trailer!!! lol.
Deere-ette? Haha. If only Deere made these machines and they were affordable. My buddy just bought a Deere 331g skid steer and paid $108,000 for it with no attachments. I paid $8,500 for my little machine. Crazy.
@@OurLifeInTrees I found your channel because my best friend bought 80 acres in Georgia and needs a lot of work. Will definitely share the vids with him.

Do you know how much hydraulic fluid the machine holds???
It holds 45l of fluid
They say the V1000 has a float function. Have you found it on the 450 yet?
No. No float function unfortunately.

@OurLifeInTrees Thanks for the info.👍👍
Wow, I didn’t realize yours had a Honda engine. Is that standard or an option?
It is an option. Rayo is the low end, then Briggs and Stratton, then Honda is the best for this machine.

You can purchase parts from him at any time. Most parts are available stateside as well I believe. You just need to know what you are looking for.
THANK YOU! I am grateful for your videos. I too am in oklahoma. This equipment is exactly what i need.@OurLifeInTrees

still waiting on the pricing video for the mini steer
I need to sit down and figure out the cost all in and find a way to make a video interesting.
Almost a Deere … Derette 🤔
