I'm pretty sure the Losi weighs almost twice as much as the X-Maxx which means that it has more dragging power. Add more lipos to the X-Maxx and 20 pounds on top and do the test again.
mmm => all that extra weight and power is not good for the X maxx => you will surely kiss your differentials goodbye ;-D ( only extra power but if you add the extra weight => then too much torque will damage your gearing and diffs )
I am sure if that was the case the x maxx would pull that car down the street.. I seen an x maxx pull a car, but it need weights to.. you have to think the other car haves gas.. so that makes it way heavier with the engine..
So I needs specs on the losi how did you convert it to electric I bought the hpi 5sc flux because it's the biggest ELECTRIC 5th scale and faster than my xmaxx but the xmaxx is more fun
Hello, I am looking for a large scale monster truck to do fairly light bashing, nothing crazy, and I want the most durable truck out of the box. Speed is not that important to me, or if it is gas or electric. I just want the toughest, big truck I can get under $1500. What would you suggest? Thank you
That was a bit of a dumb comparison, considering that the MTXL had the weight, tyre size and more precise suspension to lay it's power down. You should have weighed the front of the X-Maxx down. The MTXL likely would have had it (if both are 100% stock), but NOWHERE near the cake walk it was in your vid. You can even see the X-MAXX breaking traction the whole time.

My MTXL is brushless. Yes you are RIGHT there is NO comparison between the 2 truck.
