- To prepare for the slippery fresh tarmac of the the Las Vegas Grand Prix, @redbullracing F1 drivers Max Verstappen and Checo Perez take on the @VisaCashAppRB duo of Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo in two seater hovercraft! The four Formula 1 pilots race their floating crafts through the Nevada Desert and complete two difficult skills challenges before a head to head final race. Which team will be able to drift through the dust of alien country and successfully clinch the win? 👽 🏆
It was the first time that the drivers had raced these 13 feet, 26.5 horsepower hovercraft which need good teamwork and counter-steer to glide smoothly through the air at a top speed of 30mph.

Daniel and Max are the competitive ones and Yuki and Checo are just chilling. They all seem to have great chemistry with each other

It's good to see everything worked out perfectly for Daniel. The last time we saw him use a Hovercraft on the Grand Tour it didn't end so well...
he used that valuable experience of getting up close and personal with the fan, to his advantage in these races 😅 🧠

I think we've reached the limit! It can't get more bizarre than this: Four professional F1 drivers (An Aussie, a dutch, a mexican and a japanese) hovering around in the worlds most mysterious desert. How can you top that?!? 😂😂😂

love these challenges, the drivers are always more out of their element ending up in far less stiff and serious behaviour compared to media trained paddock interviews on tracksite.

To be able to master these things, one needs to learn drifting with cars first, which is not what F1 drivers are good at. That's what i learned from video games with cars and hovercrafts 😂
Without knowing, Yuki has been practicing for this challenge the whole year with that Potato Tauri 😂
Daniel’s transition was way cleaner they didn’t even realise they swapped drivers 😂 makes so much more sense for the driver to jump straight off tho grab the box while next driver gets ready for an instant take off like team AT did

@@redbullI’ll be watching from Los Angeles I’d love to see a race live but the closest can get is watching it on tv until it comes to Long Beach or Las Angeles ( I became a formula 1 fan in 2019 , my dad who’s a American football player came into my room while I was watching the Zandervoort race last year and became a fan and my sister is a fan of Daniel )

Literally the worst surface you could possibly take a hovercraft on. There would be so much friction and that would chew through the skirts.
