Definitely recommended stop if you're in the area. My girlfriend was downstairs in the book section while I had free roam through the car section. Don't skip on the clothes section!
Considering we have a lot of Chinese, Korean & Japanese communities here in Toronto, Canada. I'm surprised nobody has tried to pull something off like this here. Would be amazing. It's like the Chapters/Indigo (popular book store in Canada) but for car nerds.
Was there last week. Cool place, definitely stuff you don't see commonly in the US. Like you said though it's a garage for locals. Got myself a Keiichi Tsuchiya shirt!
The last two times I visited there, I saw the PORSCHE 911GT3RS and Fairlady Z on display and was able to take a video. I also visited when there was an 86/BRZ event, and I like the carbon parts I bought at the RSW booth at that time.
That looks a bit more extensive than the Tokyo A Pit, I will have to take trip over next time I'm in Kyoto. I had one of those electric flares in my Z and it passed shaken, its a good alternative so you don't have to keep buying flares when they expire.
My God, this could have found me at a better time! I'm actually headed there in a few days!! Thanks for the walk thru, A-pit has been added to the list of to do's.
Haha the place is just a few minutes away from my place didnt know it was such a big deal for car parts and such , tho i know their book stores are also crazy complete
I've been traveling to Japan several times a year for the past decade. I saw an Ioniq 5 N for the first time early this year in Tokyo. It was the very first time I saw a Hyundai anywhere in Japan. It must be that good of a car if it's being sold in the country.
Damn what a review thanks Dino I hope one day I get to visit A-pit or Japan itself lol thanks for the Grade A content, only through you lens I get to visit these places thanks Salute Dino CHEERS 🍻
Interesting how the store, despite being focused in automotive products, is not all about cars, it has space to reach out to a wider public. Curious that some sections have tax-free banners, like one would find at an airport.
Another banger of a video, im going to tokyo in May and would like to find a license plate to bring home for my garage. When i was there last year i couldn't find one anywhere, where is good to pick one up?
"unfortunately these magazines get thinner and thinner" A profound moment that isn't just Japanese. We are entering a historically significant era where the mass mobility solution product diverges from the Specialist Niche product, what was once called "Sports Cars". The real ones are mostly ultracars made for the rich, but in time they will trickle down and these offshoot brands from the big manufacturers as well as newcomers like Kimera, Nilu, etc will find a healthy market for true experience sports cars under 6 digits USD when we run through this crazy used car market. Maybe then those magazines will actually have more to publish about...
Magazines are a tough form of media to be running, but there will always be a space for them especially if they find a way to reinvent themselves into formats that people think are of value, i.e. quality productions
Awesome. We're headed to Kyoto in 2 weeks. Looks like my son and I will be visiting whilst the girls do their thing. Thanks mate!
Hope you enjoy it!
Yeah, I would get out of there with unimaginable debt.
Americans love using money they don't possess.
18:40 Finally! A proper Evolution V featured, best is spotted in the wild. 👀
Looks like mine, except for the white wheels. Very cool to see! 🙌

For a country touting to be living in the future, they seem to still be the ones who can appreciate retail spaces for Shopping!
Very much so

Hey man!
I have an Osaka trip coming up and will definitely visit this.
Would by any chance a place that caters to European car accessories shop?
I’d say that’s a good start.
Another banger of a video, im going to tokyo in May and would like to find a license plate to bring home for my garage. When i was there last year i couldn't find one anywhere, where is good to pick one up?
You can usually buy those online on sites like rakuten or yahoo

You didn't buy anything for the 34!?
Not this time haha
I saw a kid run by. Are your twins with you?
Not this time 😂
I could easily spend all my lottery winnings here 😊
Thanks for the video, didn’t even knew they had one in Kioto. Only knew about the one in Tokyo.

So, Dino, what did you end up buying? 😂

TY for this great Vid!
The *OnlyDino channel is intended for Vlogs only? just had to ask, thanks again!
That is correct! 👍🏻
