I painted this for my daughter. Now my granddaughter wants me to pain her one, but she dose acrylic herself. THE BACKGROUND IS BY DESIGN 'STREAKY', DOES STREAKY MEAN SOME DOTS OF CANVAS SHOWS THRU? TO ME I THINK THIS LOOKS UNFINISHED, AMATEURISH ON MY WORK. STILL WORKING TO FIND RIGHT BALANCE OF COVERAGE, PIGMENTATION & FLUIDITY OF MY PAINT TO GET IT RIGHT. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

No, you should still be covering the whole canvas, not leaving area with no paint. Be sure your brush is damp. If using craft or student grade, you don't need to add much water, but pro paints do need some water to make them more fluid. It is practice practice to get the right amount. 💚
