you should get her one of those heating pads that look like a stuffed animal. i have one and i really like it. not only can you like squeeze it if the pain is too bad, but you just put it on your stomach. that would be a nice gift for when she’s on her period bext
i never had painful periods until this year and ohmygod i didn’t know how good i had it.. i get so weak and i can feel it all the way to my feet i cant even get up to make tea or anything
Girls make sure to not stay hungry and eat healthier foods like bread rice milk fruits stuff that would fill you up and not make you feel sick, take painkillers the moment you see blood don't wait for cramps to come
One thing I discovered in the days of having periods was never drink coffee during a period. I used to get cramps plus diarrhea but staying away from coffee helped.
I literally just had coffee with turmeric 😫 I was wondering why the turmeric wasn't working but it must be the coffee. I'll have tea with turmeric next time!

Hot water bottle is the best during that time and also avoiding coffee at all costs, it makes cramps worse and during period it is better to drink water and delicate tea. I struggle every month because of cramps, first two days I feel like I am giving birth and I had to be in the hospital as a teenager because of the pain and other symptoms :( Changing the topic- your nail plate looks really beautiful, do you have a special regime for your nail/toe care? Thank you for amazing tips and a great video! :)
They sure are aren't they, I can't live without one! Ohh yes coffee is a no no for me too. I'm sorry you struggle too, it feels like contractions doesn't it! Some months mine can be horrendous and I wonder how horrible child birth must be 😐😂 Hope you're found some ways to help yourself at that time to make it a little easier, I agree that a nice warm cup of tea and lots of water is always the best way too. For my nails I had to cut them short for my job and I just cut them weekly with nail clippers and file the edges so they're round and smooth 😊 I also moisturise my body every day so my hands are included in that and think it helps them to stay strong and healthy. A tip I learnt from college is to file your nails to the shape of your nail bed. I have a round nail bed so I file the free edge (the white bit) round, but if my nail bed was square or squoval (always made me laugh - square/oval) i'd file it to match. The symmetry is more pleasing on the eye and instantly makes them look neat 😊❤️
Hi, @Kamila F! You too you can do more to prevent your pain. I absolutely agree with the light food idea that you suggested, my period brain got the best of me today and I impulsively ordered fries off of door dash and I feel so sick now and my cramps feel super intensified 😣😣 its funny how our body needs a break at this time and how foods that we can normally eat and enjoy make us feel bloated and sicky, stick to light foods for sure
Good stuff! A couple of supplements that are super helpful are B Complex and Ashwagandha. I find they help quite a bit with stress in general, but when taken together they can really help bring a sense of calm.
I'm looking into starting to take those supplements myself too! I used to drink lions main and other medicinal mushrooms and i'm not sure why I stopped but i've heard amazing things about Ashwagandha 😊❤️
@@Livingthelifeyoulove how did you find it? I’m taking it now, been taking it for two months and I think it’s helping, but probably need another month to make sure!
Dr Asiakale you are indeed God sent, I usually have a very painful flow ever since I was 17years old, I have tried using different drugs but the pains doesn't stop nor go, I have been living with it and managing with the pain each time my monthly circle comes but ever since last year December when I started using your herb the pains has been subsided and I feel better and comfortable each time my flows comes now. Thank you, am grateful and may God continue to bless and increase you. Amen!
Essential oils are great for period pain exactly! Especially in bath like Frankincense, Lavender, Rose essential oils. And i would like to add there are two ways to reduce to pain i discover recently and i recommend anyone who has this problem. Firstly, Fewerfew is very effective reducing pain and preventing cramps up to %95. Fewerfew does not really helps migrane as they say but for period pain it is great. Second, living in present moment and feeling the pain and the feelings once the pain arrives. This helps the pain reduce a lot and reduce the pain over the time. Love and light to you all who go through period pain🤗
You’re lovely, thanks for making this video. I like putting cocoa powder in my breakfast smoothie to satisfy the chocolatey cravings but I’ll be trying your homemade chocolate! And the Digize sounds well worth a try too. Many thanks sister xx
To be honest the best advice you can get is to not take pain killers. It's terrible at first, I used to get so close to passing out but now my cramps have significantly reduced. It will take a while but trust me the wait is so worth it!!!💜💜💜
Naww thanks Kay 😊 😊 I'm definitely in agreement that hot water bottles are the best, a good cup of anti-inflammatory natural tea is also super yummy to 😊 😊
It's pretty good and its cool to coz it comes in a glass jar and then you can buy refills when you run out, I have yet to run out and I'm like one year in lol. Plenty of hugs back ❤️ ❤️ #name twins, my niece couldn't pronounce my name when she was starting to talk I was 12 at time, so it stuck a bit more than it originally did before that lol 😊 😊

Morning pretty, thanks for a lovely video. I've never made own chocolate. Your calm, natural vibe and voice is so refreshing to listen to in comparison to the overly edited, unhelpful content I often come across. I can't even stand during my period never mind go cook in the kitchen. Even going to the toilet is a nightmare. I wish I looked that relaxed on my period. Mine are extremely debilitating to say the least but I am getting no medical help through the NHS , I'm long term unemployed, living alone, none of my personal efforts are working and frankly even in my late 20s I'm still not coping. What else can I try? On day 2 again today, it's not let me sleep, I'm very depressed, and I wish I could be productive like other ladies like you! Anx other advice specific to ny circumstance?
I don’t have cramps because I haven’t gotten my period but I looked this video up Because my mom got very bad cramps that she started crying and I want help her 😊
I remember when I used to think cramps were fake because I didn’t get them. Now I literally want to die. I don’t think my cramps are normal I can’t go to school and it’s one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced
Hi Kay, Really great advise thankfully I am of the age where I no longer have periods (getting older does have some advantages!😉) but I well remember that awful dragging cramping pain especially during my school days wish I had known about the chocolate trick though! 😍 On a sadder note I am so sorry to hear about your cat, the pain of losing a Furry Family member is awful and your little darling will have been with you throughout all your childhood and teenage years (I trust he approved of Dom when he was introduced to him first!😊) so it will be strange not to have him there when you come home. My 98 year old Father passed away last month and although I miss him of course I will remind you of some of the beautiful words from the poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson ... I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. .........Love to you both XXX 😘
Heheh that's very true my lovely. Also thank you so much for your words, they really touched my heart. ❤️ So sorry to hear about your father, it's never an easy thing to go through but that poem is beautiful and brought me a lot of comfort and I hope it did you too xxxx
Lovely video as per Kay! Thanks so much for the tips - will definitely have to invest in a hot water bottle soon! I was wondering if you would consider making more videos about relationships? You and Dom and have been together so long now, I'd love to know how you've overcome issues in your relationship, how you keep the spark going, etc! Although your relationship appears to be very smooth-going, I'm sure it's not as perfect as it seems! Thank youuuu and hope you're doing well :) Lots of love xoxo
Thank you! 😘 Ohhh yes you won't regret it, it's like a warm hug ❤️ I really like that idea actually maybe I'll make a video with him in the future chatting about it. I think one thing we've always done is never go to bed on an argument, to me it's a sign we don't really want to argue and we love each other and want to make things work. We also treat each other like we're best friends which is super important, he's my best friend and my boyfriend! Hope that helps and yep you're totally right, we have our moments but honestly we are ok, 98% of the time. We've never had huge arguments... neither of us like confrontation and we've been together so long we know when to leave each other alone. 😂
Hi, @Maya N-K! I think you have now invested in a hot water bottle! The tips in the video are useful, expecially the warm hug of HWB, but use it only during the pain is not enough: you can prevent cramps, instead of contrast them each time, using better the hot water bottle by means of an easy method of progressive thermal stimulation, not to suffer unnecessarily.
Hot water bottle is surely useful, but following a particular system of its use, as I said on my other messages, the results are more intense.
Since a lot of years I'm studying the prevention of strong menstrual pain: by means of an easy method of progressive thermal stimulation, you can avoid cramps, instead of contrast them each time or suffer unnecessarily.
If you need, I'll glad to help you: your period mustn't be a damned doom!
Hi Kay enjoyed your video great tips but I'm now 68 years of age but I used to have very very heavy and painful periods.
I'm on my period today and I'm curled up in a ball while crying

I was feeling like talking to my elder sister ( I'm better now)💕💕
TENs machine - pill free pain relief - absolute game changer! Xxx
YES! My mum had one of those a few years ago for back pain and she loved it! I'll have to remember that for the future 🙌🏼
I'm still confused about inserting a big cup inside of me I can't do it just regular pads I use.
Amen!
Love that simple coconut recipe!
It's so yummy too! 😀
I tried the massage part and OMLLL it actually worked I was always scared to touch my stomach and I went for it now and it feel so good!
It will take a while but trust me the wait is so worth it!!!💜💜💜
It’s hurts so badddd I just ate and now I’m getting cramps! I’m in so much painnnnnn 😣
I literally searched "help I'm in pain" and this video popped up😭
Heating. Pad is worked real well and eating soup it worked too my sisters. Has a heating pad at her house
Naww thanks Kay 😊 😊 I'm definitely in agreement that hot water bottles are the best, a good cup of anti-inflammatory natural tea is also super yummy to 😊 😊
They sure are, it's like a little hug. ❤️ Ohhh yes, I love a good cup of tea too, which is your fave? 😊
My favourite tea to drink is Edible Beauty Tea No. 4 - Golden Glow, super tasty to 😊 😊❤️ ❤️
That even sounds incredible! 😍❤️ Big hugs to you Kay, I love that we're name twins xx
Hi, @Kay Jays! Surely a hot water bottle is a best friend, but use it only during the pain is not enough: you can use better the hot water bottle by means of an easy method of progressive thermal stimulation, to prevent cramps.
Please, see also my other messages and then, if you need, we can speak about it: I'll send you the description of this method, glad to help you not to suffer each time: period musn't be a hell!
Girls, you're doing great! 💖 It's hell right now but heaven is coming soon. Think positive! You can do it! Have a great day/night! 💕
I hope this comment will help you feel better. You're not alone 🙃
I drink a glass of lukewarm water adding little amt of haldi powder relieves period cramp
I can't tell if it's my heart giving out or cramps
Thank you for this! How did you know I needed this today? #sharkweek 😒😂
Hahahaha, i'm psychic 😎❤️
I don’t have cramps because I haven’t gotten my period but I looked this video up
Because my mom got very bad cramps that she started crying and I want help her 😊
I use hot was cloth. It helping my stomach like amazing. Thank you for ur video. I feel pain free.. amen
Wash cloth on my stomach is working amazing.
I remember when I used to think cramps were fake because I didn’t get them. Now I literally want to die. I don’t think my cramps are normal I can’t go to school and it’s one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced
i’m watching this while i have the worst cramps and at school :,,(
i'm literally dying
I as a Guy never know about any of these but when my GF told me about this then i could literally feel her pain!🥺
I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all. .........Love to you both XXX 😘
Heheh that's very true my lovely. Also thank you so much for your words, they really touched my heart. ❤️ So sorry to hear about your father, it's never an easy thing to go through but that poem is beautiful and brought me a lot of comfort and I hope it did you too xxxx
Having an irregular cycle suckss😫
As I said in my other messages, I'm a nurse, since a lot of years I have been studying the prevention of strong menstrual pain and you too you can do a lot to prevent and avoid your discomfort.
If you need, we can speak about it and I'll send you the description of this method, glad to help you not to suffer again: period musn't be a damned doom!
Me having cramps be like : *I HURT I NEED IT AWAY*

my cramps: are you sure it'll work for you babe
Love your video as always, but most of these tips aren't useful since I'm mum of two crazy toddlers and can't plan and relax :D
Oh no! hahah I guess that you can do the relax part when they go to bed but you can get heat pads that you can walk around with and you can still use oils and massage etc! 😊☕️❤️
Thank you so much for your videos. They really motivate me to be better and put me in great mood 🤗❤
And your voice is very calming ☺
Oki
I’m not breathing right
