Intro to Forum on Integrated Naval History and Seapower Studies

The History Department at the U.S. Naval Academy launches the Forum on Integrated Naval History and Seapower Studies (FINHSS, or “fins”) in order to develop our collective understanding of that naval past, and to encourage collaboration in the wider field of seapower studies. A broad understanding of the naval and military past has a direct impact on the ability of today’s Navy and Marine Corps to plan and operate effectively in the present and in the future.
