You’ll really like the promise by In this moment. It’s a love song that has male and female vocals that go together perfectly, there’s parts where they both are screaming together. You won’t find anything like that song.
(This is largely derived from interviews I’ve seen over time. May not be 100% accurate). In This Moment initially formed around 2005 with Maria (singer) and Chris (Lead Guitar). Chris was scouting for a singer to form a band, preferably a guy, but Maria auditioned and he liked the way she sang. Together they found other members, and initially called themselves Dying Star. Later, they settled on the name In This Moment, and eventually came out with their debut album Beautiful Tragedy in 2007. By 2011 they released two more albums, The Dream and A Star-Crossed Wasteland. After touring on their third album, the band was lucky if they broke even, being that they were hardly making any profit. 3 of the members quit, leaving only Chris and Maria. For around an hour, they both thought it was really over and that their dream was crushed. Maria was not having it, she didn’t want to give up. After all she had been through in her life, she just couldn’t let the band die. Screaming and crying, she burst into Chris house and yelled at him that they weren’t gonna quit, and that they need to just try something totally different. So, they began work on a track now known as ‘Blood’ and began hiring new members, whereby upon completion they sent it out to numerous producers and labels in hope of being picked up. They succeeded, and made their 2012 album titled Blood. They quickly gained traction in the metal and rock genre, where upon the release of their next album ‘Black Widow’ (2014) they were headlining their own tours. To this day they continue to gain popularity! Truly a “From the ashes” type of story.
Thanks for that. I'd been listening to separate songs but after reading this listened to the album Blood as a whole and it really fits based on that context - gave me whole new application for that album. Thanks again - Cheers!
Love this band! This is one of her softer songs, she has a beautiful growl! I have only known about them for about 2 years, I was supposed to see them in San Francisco in May 2020 but Covid had other plans
new here searched ppl that reacted to in this moment cause this has been one my favorite bands since they came out and Maria Brink is amazing all the way around..........I would suggest checking out "Daddy's fallen angel" and "Prayers" just to name a few of the great songs they have made.....
I initially came to your channel for Nightwish and JINJER, but I love In This Moment. I've been lucky enough to see them 3 times live in concert and they put on an amazing performance! I just wanted to pop in and say they are great live as well! At least I've always had a great experience with them! Into The Light will always be my favorite by them, granted it is a lot softer but sooo emotional. Adrenalize and The In Between are other good choices. But I would personally love to see a reaction video to "Epica - Sancta Terra (feat Floor Jansen) Live Retrospect show" 😊
Into the light - Just Drive - Legacy of Odio - Wolrd in Flames - Prayers are among my favourites of ITM old era... Among the new stuff i like Whore - Black Wedding - Big Bad Wolf but it's like to hear a totally different group, more close to marilyn manson style rather than their own old stuff.
LOL... not even close to being 'poppy' *rolls eyes* This is metalcore and their heaviest album.... and best album. Most the songs you requested are Industrial / Gothic garbage.
Nah the only good song on the album that big bad wolf is on is sick like me. Every other song on thay album is horrible. Every other album is great tho.

This band released "The In Between" earlier this year... awesome and really impacting video... I think visualy one of the best videos I've ever seen, and her vocals are crazy
I have not heard of this band before. I really enjoyed that. I think what really gives this song special character is the voice of the singer. The rhythm and melody are not that special in my opinion. But since I liked it I went to listen to some of the songs others in the comments suggested and these were much more unique (: Great reaction. Thanks for the introduction. I think they're going on my playlist.
Beautiful Tragedy was pretty much their first hit, a long time ago. Naturally they've grown and evolved since then, but this was a very good starting point for a young band.
Maria Brink lived a hard life and pours that experience into incredible pathos in her singing. I'm a metal fan but her voice is so amazing that one of their musically lightest songs The Fighter is one of my favourites.
Thanks so much for reacting to in this moment!! Love this band!!! The only thing more amazing than maria brinks singing and screaming ability is how absolutely beautiful and amazing A person she is!!!!!
i only heard of them earlier this year but they have fast become one of my favorites. big bad wolf was the first song i heard and its still my favorite
my favorite song is called "He Said Eternity", by In This Moment. the song "He Said Eternity", was writren for Maria Brink's son. Maria is the lead singer of the band. i also recommend "The Promise" by In This Moment, too. & i've been a fan since their first album 'Beautiful Tragedy'. in fact, my niece is named after Maria Brink. much love. ❤
If you know a band called Blondie from the 70s and 80s the song she redid was called call me... Maria Brink the lead singer of In This Moment nailed that song... she's pretty amazing
Hello, New subscriber here... I've been a fan of this band since day 1 when their 1st album dropped... which is what this song is from, actually if i remember correctly, this was their very first single. Hands down, this was their best album IMO ... start to finish, a solid metalcore / alternative metal album, w/ a couple ballads as well. This band has changed their sound considerably on each album they dropped. From metalcore... to more hard rock / alternative metal... to heavier alternative metal... to Industrial metal... to Gothic metal. Last few albums have been back and forth w/ an Industrial / gothic metal sound that just doesn't do it for me... she went from being a gorgeous woman who dressed in beautiful dresses on stage w/ an amazing SINGING voice (w/ some screams) to this wannabe female version of Marilyn Manson w/ over the top stage theatrics that quite honestly are way too much. Pretty much every song everyone here is requesting is from the recent albums... I do like Roots a lot (it's the only actually good song off it's album), I like The Fighter (It's a powerful emotional ballad, well done), and I like Whore (just something about it) but most the others like Big Bad Wolf, Sex Metal Barbie, Sick Like Me, Adrenalize, Blood etc. are kind of trash... unless you are into that weird Marilyn Manson kind of stuff. My thing is this.... YOU clearly liked this song... so doesn't it make sense to recommend you more songs from this band that actually have the same style? I would recommend you listen to anything off the 1st album (Beautiful Tragedy) before you decide to explore more recent stuff. My favorites... other than this song, and also similar to this song... Prayers Ashes Daddy's Fallen Angel Next Life Circles ...and a couple really strong softer songs from the album... Legacy of Odio and He Said Eternity.
Saw them live in 2008 and amazing band!, The band great but holy shit does Maria Brink take control with her voice and presence on stage, Amazing performer and they became one of my favourite bands ever that night. Here's a few songs that are awesome in my opinion Cheers... The Beast Within Big Bad Wolf Daddy's Fallen Angel Adrenalize The Gun Show Circles
If you really want to be moved, put a pair of headphones on, Crank it up and listen to out of hell by this band. It's a very powerful and moving song. Guaranteed tears 😭 with an important message
Long ago this song was my intro to this band. Still my favorite. The group also does a mean cover of Blondie's Call me. I believe I read somewhere that their original claim to fame comes from this song/video being posted on a social media platform. *But don't quote me on that*
"I kept thinking of these funerals where there are family members who haven't talked to each other for years. And then, when they lose someone, suddenly everyone loves each other. Sometimes, something dark brings out something beautiful." Thats what the vocalist Maria has to say about this song. Please react to their music video The In-Between, its one of the best music vids ive ever seen =) Beautiful Tragedy is their older sound, they're much more unique now in my opinion with their mix of alternative metal with kinda pop and theatrical elements. Congrats on almost 20K as well :p
Maria Brink is one of my two favorite voices - the other being Tatiana from Jinjer. Maria had a hard life and pours that pain into epic pathos in her singing. I'd recommend on one hand power-ballad The Fighter, and on the other hand their heavier songs like The In-Between and Big Bad Wolf (a couple of the less edgy ones haha). Many of their songs tend to be about integrating/confronting/embracing some aspect of her dark side, sexuality, baggage from past trauma, or all of the above. Well written lyrics with lots of radical honesty and real shit, and she also plays a role making their videos.
So yeah a lot of their earlier albums are supercharged sexuality wise both visually and content examples Blood, Whore, Sex Metal Barbie. But in a recent interview Maria admitted after seeing the way that was influencing MUCH younger female fans and the way they dressed at her concerts she decided to switch things up in the new album which has an awesome song The In Between, the change her looks to looks like the kimonos to change the image. Maria is an amazing vocalist they do a acoustic version of Blood that is a must react to one after reacting to the original. This is the link to the acoustic version ruclips.net/video/z9muCMBZytA/видео.html
Yo I was into this song right off the back in 2007. I just recently started listening to hard rock again and was interested in singers who are women. I’ve been on the road with some of cradle of filth songs, arch enemy, in this moment, and fly leaf. Definitely love into the light.
Oh Beautiful Tragedy is about Maria growing up i think,(I could be wrong) That's what i always got from it because she went through a bunch of bad times and thought she would never amount to anything, Hence Beautiful Tragedy.
This is the first time I finished an 'In This Moment' song... Mainly because I never really listened to them much... I Like This! It is different from what I remember hearing... The song: 'Whore'.. Eeeeeh?... But this!?! Yeah! Try a different band.. Oceans of Slumber' Winter'.. Very good as well! Great reaction!! Love ya!
Hi Gitana, I have been watching your Jinjer and Bad Wovles videos and I love you content, then I found out you had done In This Moment. Now to do In This Moment justice you have starter on a good starter with a song off there first album. Now below I will list songs that I think you should listen to and please watch them in order as this will really show you the progressing of this band as they have changed alot since Beautiful Tragedy. I think you will love In This Moment by the end and probably be in love with Maria (the singer) about half way through, shes sooo hot!!!! Also I think these songs would be so good to react with your husband and see his reactions So the list is below There next album was The Dream album You have: Forever - ruclips.net/video/eecFm2iRo7Q/видео.html Call Me (Blonde Cover) ruclips.net/video/u_XBRUY3Vqc/видео.html For the A Star Crossed Wasteland album you have two choices The Promise (Featuring Adrian Patrick of Otherwise) - ruclips.net/video/-uakxkjYMDI/видео.html or The Gun Show - ruclips.net/video/MwTv45OW5Yw/видео.html Gun Show is HEAVY though so I would pick The Promise Now the Blood album (my favourite album) You have to do both of these, as they are AMAZING songs Adrenalize - ruclips.net/video/dXMfdpjnAHU/видео.html Whore - ruclips.net/video/GurkREc-q4I/видео.html now for the Black Widow album Again I believe you have to do all three of these songs :D Big Bag Wolf - ruclips.net/video/j-qQ_brIsfY/видео.html Bloody Creature Poster Girl - ruclips.net/video/HNhy3K94z8Y/видео.html The Fighter - ruclips.net/video/D3sg1sDhX0U/видео.html Now for the Ritual Album, Definitely has to be Black Wedding (Feat Rob Halford) - ruclips.net/video/fHAi_-DOy40/видео.html and there Cover version of In The Air Tonight - ruclips.net/video/azeh1ZbxWwI/видео.html From their latest album Mother, they currently have only released one song The In-Between - ruclips.net/video/pjOtKC_GZ9o/видео.html I would love it if you was to follow this layout of songs and if you was to do them in this order as well. I really do think you would enjoy it and see the progression the band has gone through. Thanks for your videos and I really did enjoy doing this list for you. Hope you do use it. Thanks again Krist
new to the channel....Hello.....this song is great and shows Maria vocal range and i little bit of her scream , buuuuut you DO NOT hear her all of her scream, yell or growl....OMFG this woman has all 4...the live show is amazing seen 6 or 7 times....listen to " the promise" "blood" "whore" " gun show" "comanche" really anything off of the Blood album that is really where she starts to come into her own and become who she is now with her live stage show and her video.
This is NOT the normal ITM song. They are much louder and angrier than this. They are awesome. Maria Brink is an amazing metal vocalist. This is their take on easy listening.
Please take listen to Joey and Rory verison of freebird it’s nothing like Lynyrd Skynyrd. It’s more stripped down. Like to see you react to Joey and Rory Feek video video of The preacher and the stranger
I've loved this band for a long time. Very good playlist, and your great basic rock thingy. And speaking of fun front women in rock and roll, try out Pretty Reckless, fronted by that little girl from the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Makes Me Wanna Die, but Pretty Reckless: ruclips.net/video/kHMiR8xzuHc/видео.html And, before you get too far down the rabbit hole, Angelina Jordan and Billie Eilish's idol, Aurora might be fun to watch, given that's totally unique and top 10 quality stuff. I recommend Murder Song, Noble Peace Price version, Aurora: ruclips.net/video/vh0SWTVwXxw/видео.html
I hate giving a thumbs down to anything you do Gitana but I genuinely disliked this particular band. I did enjoy your honest review and the fact that you enjoyed the band. I can't wait for more of your reactions so keep them coming!
Listen to "Gun Show" to really see her power.
so true
You’ll really like the promise by In this moment. It’s a love song that has male and female vocals that go together perfectly, there’s parts where they both are screaming together. You won’t find anything like that song.
I am so happy you liked it!!! More Please! Did Donovan like it? For a little different range of her voice check out Gun Show. Blow your mind!

I enjoy this song. Worth listening to some of their other music for sure. Keep up the good work!
Great job with your reaction to IN This Moment and there song Beautiful Tragedy .
Finaly you reacted to one of the greatest female Voices in the Metal Scene : MARIA BRINK
Absolutely, together with Floor Jansen from Nightwish and Maria Franz from Heilung.
LOL... not even close to being 'poppy' *rolls eyes*
This is metalcore and their heaviest album.... and best album. Most the songs you requested are Industrial / Gothic garbage.

Maria Brink (the singer) has such a unique voice about her, it almost sounds like she cries when she sings. I personally love the grit she has.
In this moment- black wedding ft rob halford of judas priest
I think you should listen to her other songs like the big bad wolf and sex metal Barbie!!!
Thanks so much for reacting to in this moment!! Love this band!!! The only thing more amazing than maria brinks singing and screaming ability is how absolutely beautiful and amazing A person she is!!!!!
i only heard of them earlier this year but they have fast become one of my favorites. big bad wolf was the first song i heard and its still my favorite

just LOOOOOVE in this moment and Maria is just fanTASTIC!!! Big bad wolf is one of my favorites
So mellow compared to more recent tracks. They are a whole different level live too, kick it up a couple notches. A must see live act. \m/
I love this song! ❤❤❤ love your reactions as well!
my favorite song is called "He Said Eternity", by In This Moment.
the song "He Said Eternity", was writren for Maria Brink's son. Maria is the lead singer of the band.
i also recommend "The Promise" by In This Moment, too.

Big Bad Wolf is a must see/hear
If you know a band called Blondie from the 70s and 80s the song she redid was called call me... Maria Brink the lead singer of In This Moment nailed that song... she's pretty amazing
You should try the track The In-between from their new album released earlier this year.

Good ones from In this Moment
The Fighter - ruclips.net/video/D3sg1sDhX0U/видео.html
Sick Like Me - ruclips.net/video/03X0B6u-AxM/видео.html
This is the link to the acoustic version ruclips.net/video/z9muCMBZytA/видео.html

new to the channel....Hello.....this song is great and shows Maria vocal range and i little bit of her scream , buuuuut you DO NOT hear her all of her scream, yell or growl....OMFG this woman has all 4...the live show is amazing seen 6 or 7 times....listen to " the promise" "blood" "whore" " gun show" "comanche" really anything off of the Blood album that is really where she starts to come into her own and become who she is now with her live stage show and her video.
Check out "Whore". FYI, it is so much deeper than the title sounds.
In this moment - daddy's fallen angel
This is NOT the normal ITM song. They are much louder and angrier than this. They are awesome. Maria Brink is an amazing metal vocalist. This is their take on easy listening.
Can you react to killswitch engage "the signal fire "
Please take listen to Joey and Rory verison of freebird it’s nothing like Lynyrd Skynyrd. It’s more stripped down. Like to see you react to Joey and Rory Feek video video of The preacher and the stranger
Gun show. Maria goes OFF
In this moment the promise male vs female give it a listen
Still one of their best songs.
Hello. New subscriber. Not my thing. More of a Angelina or Pentatonix listener. Love your quirky ness
Hey G you might want to check out Small Town Titans theirs covers are awesome. They make them their own.
You need to try out Hick hop. Start with Ryan Upchurch's Dirty South
I've loved this band for a long time. Very good playlist, and your great basic rock thingy. And speaking of fun front women in rock and roll, try out Pretty Reckless, fronted by that little girl from the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Makes Me Wanna Die, but Pretty Reckless:

And, before you get too far down the rabbit hole, Angelina Jordan and Billie Eilish's idol, Aurora might be fun to watch, given that's totally unique and top 10 quality stuff. I recommend Murder Song, Noble Peace Price version, Aurora:

Big bad WOLF
I prefer the hardest songs of this band (Roots, Whore, Adrenalize, Big Bad Wolf).
Not my cup of tea this one. Never mind, on to the next one. Your reaction still gets a thumbs up.
In this moment - the fighter would have been a better choice to react to .
Definitely a great song. Lighter, but powerful.
could you please react to "kings", by sam tompkins 🥺💖
I hate giving a thumbs down to anything you do Gitana but I genuinely disliked this particular band. I did enjoy your honest review and the fact that you enjoyed the band. I can't wait for more of your reactions so keep them coming!
