Oh that’s so lovely thank you! I’m glad to be back and with a new mix up ❤
Bravo on your first movie reaction Half Pint - you did a outstanding job!!!🎬💙💙💙
You absolutely made my day. Thank you.
It's a personality thing more than a knowledge thing. Don't worry about it. You are fun to hang out with. =)
it's great to see you back among the mix in my youtube timeline
This movie is often rated as a top 3 of all time. Every possible emotion, with hope and friendship at the end.
The Green Mile, John Wick, Forrest Gump.
Trust me. These 3 are all serious dramas which will pull at your heartstrings
This is one of the best films you'll probably ever see. It is a wonderful thing that you've learned in this first viewing. If you open your mind to older films and films that have themes that you wouldn't normally be interested in I think you'll find an incredible wealth of cinema. What I hope for you is that this is the beginning of a wonderful journey for you. You certainly have been missed and this is a great platform for you I wish you all the best.
You are a genuinely kind human Being. I don't know if others can see that, but I do.
Never lose that.
Proud of you, stepping into new waters. Haven’t seen you for a bit. Miss your videos!
Thank you!!
Here’s a list of top movies. Saving private Ryan, gladiator, Forrest Gump, good will hunting, braveheart, rain man, field of dreams, green mile, tropic thunder.
I have only seen one of them! 😮
@@GitanaAdelle Now you have eight more to add to your list! (and I'm annoyed I didn't think of several of those for MY list I just posted, LOL)
Put in Apocalypto too
Agree. Great list.
Yep Green Mile is a must.
It's never too late. I used to watch big tent Hollywood spectacles/ action movies and got stuck at a movie theater that sold out. It forced me to see a small film based on dialogue. Changed my life. I now go to film festivals looking for thay experience that shows me/teaches me something new, reflects something interesting in our world, makes me feel an emotion. I scarcely ever watch big budget schlock. They are just unsatisfying. There's so much out there you've denied yourself. Don't be afraid of the small, the independent, the foreign film. Don't expect every one to do big things. Film can show u small slices of life or just a singular idea too. Be forewarned that most people will suggest easy hollywood oscar bait type movies exclusively. Watch them, but don't fall into that trap either.
Very insightful thank you for your input I appreciate it 🫶🏼
Just like with your music reactions, there are so many great movies. I can't wait to watch your new reactions
This is one of my favorite movies of all time! The only thing that makes me love this movie even more now, is your beautiful reaction!❤️🤗
"Andy Dufrene, who crawled through a river of shit and came out clean on the other side"
Always loved that line.
Yes!!!!
note Red's earlier foreshadowing line to Andy in the yard about Mexico, "That's just a shitty pipe dream"
I think that “Rocky” is a stereotypically guys movie that women really connect with and enjoy.
Catch another movie with Bill Conti music: "The Karate Kid" (1984).
Yes! I think it's because Rocky is both hyper masculine but also very in touch with his emotions and endearing.
The Green Mile
This movie is the highest rated movie on IMDB and regarded as the best movie ever made. My favourite movie is Gladiator. Hopefully you'll get a chance to see that. Fantastic reaction. New sub here. ❤
Fantastic first movie reaction, and also my favorite movie of all time! Hope you can react to "Forrest Gump", "The Green Mile" and "Good Will Hunting". Such a great start, I wish you the best on your movie journey!
Awesome reaction to a great movie . I love seeing you back on here. Looking forward to your next one. some suggestions , The Green Mile, Forrest Gump, Band of Brothers, or for a little comedy , Grumpy old Men.
Great recommendations Vernon!!!👍
I will check it out thank you ☺️
@@william_banta_81 Thanks William 🤠🤠
@@GitanaAdelle 💙💙 I am so glad you are doing well 🤠🤠
Hello Half Pint & RUclips family!!! This should be interesting but I'm sure it'll be great!!! This was a homerun being your first movie reaction & love all your insights on the movie!!! Love ya lots Sis & everyone have a wonderful weekend!!!💙💙💙
Forest Gump and Castaway
Welcome to the world of movie reactions!
I liked your reactions, even if the movie was a little chopped up (I know a certain amount of that is necessary to escape copyright strikes etc...)...
Since you mentioned that you haven't watched many movies outside your narrow interests, I'd like to suggest a few (react to them, or just watch them for your own enjoyment).
Star Wars (really, all of the movies, but, start with Star Wars, aka Episode IV)
The Green Mile ( same director as Shawshank, and same author, Stephen King... equally good movie)
The Godfather
Raiders of the Lost Ark (let whether you like that be your guide on whether you watch the next one, but DO pick up Holy Grail! )
The Last Samurai.
Titanic
The Mummy (The one starring Brendan Fraser)
Now for a more difficult choice - The Lord of the Rings trilogy... the Extended Editions. They are LONG movies, with enough characters that taking notes is not frowned upon... but, as a trilogy, they won more Oscars than almost anything else in history.
The Thing (best watched in the depth of winter, in the dark...)
I hope to see you reacting to more movies!
Edit: Forgot to add a few - Alien, Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, Tombstone, The Kings Speech, Gladiator, Forest Gump.... I'll stop now, the list just goes on, and on. 🙂
Абсолютно. Я считаю этот фильм и фильм про Форреста Гампа лучшими американскими фильмами. Это была замечательная реакция. СПАСИБО!
Secondhand Lions, please.
If I could like this a billion times I would!!
You're going to get no end of movie reaction recommendations no doubt but as a Brit if you haven't seen Mel Gibson's "Braveheart" it's a gotta do. Then there's "The Patriot", again Gibson. Perhaps I should note the Brits are the bad guys, but I think you'll enjoy the movies just the same.
Arrival is a very good one but you should start in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s classic’s, it’s a rabbit hole. Good luck! Can’t wait!
Also, thank you for pausing. Most reactors just talk or talk over each other and miss a lot. This was awesome.
This is one of the two best movies made from a Stephen King book. I hope your second reaction will be from the other movie from a Stephen King boo called The Green Mile.
Watch The Princess Bride next! It's every bit as good, but fantasy.
"I'm a terrible judge of character." I smiled knowing how vindicated you would soon feel.
If you want to react to a series "Firefly" is in a class of its own. Wonderful characters, writing and stories. Just one season, and nobody who's watched the series understands how that could have happened, but what a season!
Redemption and FREEDOM is a tropical beach in Mexico??? You get that more than me don't you?
"How to build hope in a hopeless environment" .. I think you nailed it right there... especially the transformation of Red at the end "I hope".. btw, love your reaction and your hair 😊
Thank you so much 🫶🏼
That was voted the best film of all time in many surveys including IMDB.
I agree, my favourite film. Great story, superb acting, emotional rollercoaster from suicide of Brooks to Red getting the letter from Andy.
I suggest Gladiator and Interstellar.
If you want a good laugh try Elf and Dumb and Dumber
Now watch the other prison movie written by Stephen King
Hi Gitana, I've recently discovered your channel and I've subscribed. I enjoyed your reaction to this classic, it really is an emotional rollercoaster. Please react to these awesome movies :) Memphis Belle, Red Tails, The Battle Of Britain, The Dambusters, 1941, Good Morning Vietnam, Kelly's Heroes, Every Which Way But Loose, Any Which Way You Can, The Blues Brothers, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Wayne's World, Waynes World 2, Police Academy 1 - 4, Wildcats, Coming To America, K-9, Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Armed And Dangerous, Airheads, Tango & Cash, Reservoir Dogs, The Quick And The Dead, Who's Talking & Look Who's Talking Too.
Welcome aboard! That is a list, would took me forever to text that out!😂 Hope you enjoy your time over here!!!😊
you should react to The Princess Bride next
Really enjoying your movie reaction! At first, I thought that you were going to OVER REACT, but you settled in great. What a great movie pic! Check out the 1975 Summer Blockbuster, 'Jaws'!!! Scary, shark fun! Or, deep dive into 'The Hobbit' and 'The Lord Of The Rings' EPICS!!! Or Apacalupto is a really great movie about indigenous tribes in South America!!! I'll look forward to your movie reactions! ❤❤❤
I love your honesty 😂 thank you so much 🙌
Most people feel the same way. Shawshank Redemption is the best movie ever. Try watching these?
The Terminator
Alien
The Godfather1&2
Scarface (1983)
A Bronx Tale
When Harry Met Sally
Amedeus
Misery
Deloris Claiborne
Forest Gump
Terminator 2
Airplane
Planet of the Apes (1968)
Schindler’s List
Saving Private Ryan
Gladiator
Goodfellas
The Fly (1986)
Just finished your reaction and it was a great reaction !!!....Ive watched alot of reactions and your a great reactor !!!...your not only real but also a beautiful girl as a bonus !!!....you should watch 1 of my 3 suggestions that I already gave below !!...this was Dean again from Michigan !!....am part English myself and think English women r great !!!...see u at next movie or series !!!
Thank you so much 🫶🏼 I really appreciate that
For chick flicks or romance, do the “before” trilogy. Before sunrise, before sunset, before midnight. High IMDb ratings
You'll probably need your Kleenex you may cry.
I'm happy you stepped out of your comfort zone to watch this film. This is how we grow.
I can't wait for more movie reactions 🤩
Have you seen "Field of Dreams"? If not you will like it.
I haven't seen that one in ages but I still remember it - great movie!!!😊
No I haven’t heard of it!
Don't forget "A League of Their Own" (1992),
My favorite reaction so far! :)
Great first reaction!!! ❤ Hope you see many more. Casablanca is another absolute all-time classic.
This by far the worst edited reaction I have ever seen. Every moving moment this movie is known for has been skipped over, terrible review
What is up with the negativity?!. This was Half Pint first movie reaction or review & it seems like everyone enjoyed it or was happy to see her back! So back to your comment now - I sure the scenes you talk about were removed because of copyright! Just like when she does music & has to blur it or mute part of it, it's probably a copyright issue! Be happy with what you got & don't spread negativity - no one needs or wants that especially here - try to have a better day tomorrow!
My all time favorite movie!!! ❤
Best film ever made- period.
I’m really glad you watched and enjoyed this film. This is actually my all time favorite movie from the author Stephen King which is also from my state of Maine. The movie scenes and a lot of the names and places like the prisons, the town names like Portland and Buxton (where I used to live in both of them) the banks, the grocery store and the boarding house are very accurate in this film so I know the where the different scenes are taken place. The movie called the Green Mile which is a Stephen King book is also worth watching but maybe have some tissues close by you might possibly need them. I’m very happy you’re including movies on your channel now, it’s a whole new category of enjoyment coming our way to watch your reaction.
Great movie. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Well now you got to do green mile
All of the angels are going to be sad.If you do not react to all of the high quality videos from las vegas from one month ago... Most all of the good Quality videos are out now
Absolutely, Angelina is the only reason I watch reaction videos. I have subscribed to many reactors because of Angelina. It seems like after the reactors get a few subscribers from Angelina they stop reacting to her. I've unsubscribed to many of them because of that.
probably better than mine. Gitana was on a LIVE with me for the first half of that concert with me.
I'm pretty sure everyone is happy to see Half Pint back with a new video & trying something new also - got to keep it mixed up a little & fresh! Just enjoy what is posted maybe!!!😉
@@charlespeterson7502 I can assure you that’s not the case with me 🥰
@@patrickpost4294I did and it was super special thank you so much for that experience 💗
Good job your 1st time. U cut out a couple big moments or scenes.
Most likely had to due to copyright issues, just like with music reactions - you know what I'm saying!!!😉👍
Love this reaction, mainly because you are so adorable!! Love this
How come you don't do Angelina Jordan anymore?
It’s not that I don’t do her, I just took a break from it all, I enjoyed her las vags show live in private and I will be reacting to more for sure! I’m a huge fan
Sixth sense
You cut out way to much of the movie. You cut out to much while talking about grown mean crying. Scenes right after that were to important to cut out. Also, Andy talking with Red while throwing the baseball. Brooks release. Andy asking for Rita Heyworth, and the hair scene, and many other things.
There’s a story they mention in the movie, “The Count of Monte Cristo.” You should check out the movie of that book, that came out in 2002. That’s a real good one.
Some other great movies classics, but with different premises.
-Forest Gump
-Good Will Hunting
-Silence of the Lambs
-A Few Good Men
These are good starter packs.
The best Stephen King's adaptation!
I just watched it too (hence why I’m here, haha). The wave of emotion that fell over me afterwards…When you referred to the roof scene as having contributed to the sense of hope, it got me thinking and I think that it propelled the movie forward towards it’s message of hope was that making sure that his friends were included in the deal showed them that he wasn’t selfish and that there could be better days in prison rather than just fear of consistent beatings for even speaking.
For your movie reaction you did great.👍🤟😝🤟
Thank you!
"The Shawshank Redemption": A tale about Hope, Friendship, and The Count of Monte Cristo. You chose a great movie to react to; a non-Horror classic from Stephen King. 12:44 Andy Dufresne, ace financial advisor since 1949. 35:50 A little-known song for Andy Dufresne: ruclips.net/video/5-fcvnYDEJ0/видео.html 42:29 A song for Ellis Boyd "Red" Redding: ruclips.net/video/j5sO0HbB5WY/видео.html Consider "A League of Their Own" (1992), Play Ball! Or, "The Karate Kid" (1984). Don't be afraid of black-and-white movies. "Casablanca" (1942) has it all: Drama, Romance, Music, and Hope. Do you like "roller coaster" movies? "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1981) will take you around the world...
Welcome to movie reactions:) Excited to see what's next ❤
Hello Gitana!😊 Is this your first movie reaction? You did a great job!!!!👏👏👏👏 This film is actually part of an unofficial trilogy. All three films were written by Stephen King and directed by Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead). The second film is "The Green Mile" (1999). Like this film, it is INCREDIBLE, and you will need tissues!🏆 The third film is "The Mist" (2007). This film is a true King horror film. Just some suggestions for you. You should definitely continue doing films!😉
Sometimes it's nice to change it up a little
Agree!!!😉👍
You're definitely starting at the top with movie reactions. There are few movies harder to watch, yet as rewarding to watch, than this one.
I'd also watch The Green Mile. Similar, yet VERY diferent than this all at once.
Hmm. For something completely different? 12 Angry Men. It being in black and white may intimidate people, but its actually a gripping and interesting watch (which it wont even seem to be going in, but quickky youll see why).
Howdy from central pennsylvania. Love your reactions. Got some suggestions. Song, john Michael Montgomery. The little girl. Sad but beautiful.
And movies, two music centered movies. Eddie and the cruisers. And my favorite, Eddie and the cruisers2, Eddie Lives
For a Debut Post, you guys did a great Job. IMO, this movie and The Green Mile are 2 of the BEST Movies ever created. BUT. I am NOT suggesting The Green Mile as a possible Next Post. Keep it in mind thou. When you have the WHOLE movie reaction thing down pat and are comfortable with it, then think about The Green Mile. I am NOT a Movie Reactor or a Professional. If it was me, I'd look at OTHER reactors that have done movies for a while. They know what to share and what to eliminate, for time. They know what to show and what to Fuzz Out. They know how long they can show parts of a film without showing or sharing too much, the whole copy right thing. You want to show as much as you can, to make your site even better. BUT, not too much, because that would be a hassle to edit. I hope this continues to be an interest to you. Because to us viewers, it is, also. Nothing but Good Luck and Goodn Vibes to you. Nice Post.
Great reaction here are some classics for u to enjoy
Alien ( 1979)
Aliens ( 1986)
Predator ( 1987)
Predator 2 ( 1990)
Die hard ( 1988)
Die hard 2 die harder ( 1990)
Die hard with a vengeance ( 1995)
Welcome back😊 . I think you should get back to the music reactions.
I think music reactions will still happen, just something new & fresh today!!!😉
@@william_banta_81 I did enjoy her movie reaction. But I really like her music reactions also.
@@Kgj1966 Yeah music is a big part of the channel so I don't see that going away, as I said this was something new & fresh for the channel! Having a good mix of content on any channel on RUclips is good!!!👍
Also a box of tissues would be advised for some of the movies. That scene with Brooks always breaks my heart 😢😢😢
Definitely the Green Mile next. It's directed by the same person the directed Shawshank Redemption and also written by Steven King
Great movie to start with.
Im from Ohio. Shawshank aka Mansfield prison ohio is now a ghost haunted attraction. Many ghost shows been there.
BTW: So happy to see my favorite music reactor starting to react to movies.
Well, if you made it through this movie, the next logical step is the movie The Green Mile, which is directed by the same person. It was adapted to film from a book that was written by the same person who wrote The Shawshank Redemption...Stephen King. Next movie in line would be Forrest Gump.
Great reaction G, this is truly one of the great movies and it was fun to see you have such a response to it. There will be plenty of classic recommendations being thrown at you, but "the Sixth Sense" has to be one to check out (assuming you know nothing at all about it) and I would also suggest "A Few Good Men" and "Murder in the First" for a couple of courtroom movies with some great performances.
Donovan, keep pushing her into these classics 🎥
glad you are back. alot of reactors have went from music to movies. Missed you. iF you are going too do music I request Billy Currington People Are Crazy. But for a movie The Green Mile can not be beat. Again missed you glad you are back.
An amazing movie that’s virtually unknown is SIMON BIRCH. You could be the first to react to it. I promise you’ll love it and laugh and cry your eyes out lol
In Texas this movie would be over in 5 minutes....sentenced...chair...TheEnd
Ok, I have this queued but have not started to watch it yet. One of my maybe top 3 all time moves. (you are in for a ride girl, hold on tight) 🥰😁 (Another great movie you might enjoy someday is "The Last Samurai" with Tom Cruise)
Great Reaction. I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to more reactions. The only thing that could be considered a downside is that you started with probably the greatest movie of all time :D But there are still great movies to react to. I would recommend "Scent of a Woman". Another truly amazing film.
You're a natural movie reactor Gitana. And yes most agree this is one of the best movies they've ever seen, but there are many more extraordinary films. One of those many is "Forrest Gump", starring Tom Hanks. And if you want to venture into war genre there are some amazing creations. Another Hanks movie, "Saving Private Ryan" and the Hanks, Spielberg produced series "Band of Brothers" is superb. War movies may be the ultimate guy genre but it is hard to find more intense drama than that in those which are well done. Another came to mind, "Fury" starring Brad Pitt.
I would love to see do a reaction to the (1979) movie the Jerk starring Steve Martin a Bernadette Peters so please comment on how Dirty Navin is when his family and Marie find him and Navin looks like he was in a Garbage Dumpster.
How about some movies with an 80's vibe. Suggest "Romancing the Stone", "Lethal Weapon" and "Die Hard".
Girl, you don't know what you're getting in to. There are many movies that will rock your world. I'm 63years old and I have seen many, many movies. This is my first seeing you doing reactions on movies. So to see you for a long time, It would be like sharing movies with my niece..
you did great for a first movie reaction might i suggest something on the lighter side try caddyshack from 1980
Now you know why this film is consistently on the "best movies of all time" list!
Enjoyed your reaction to Shawshank redemption, your editing was good but you don't have to blur out the scenes, none of the other reactors do it but glad to see you doing movies, You need to do Hacksaw ridge, great movie. Would enjoy seeing that reaction. God bless.
A good comedy to watch is called Wild Hogs. It has Martin Lawrence, Tim Allen and John Travolta, along with other faces you should recognize. It's a great movie to react to
Loved❤ your reaction as always. If you haven’t seen The Princess Bride yet I wholeheartedly recommend it. I believe you would enjoy it immensely.
Great reaction Gitana:
It seems to me that you have a great understanding of human nature. For this reason, your movie reactions will be very enjoyable to watch. I recommend the Green Mile as your next movie reaction. Good luck in the future.
If you enjoy guessing what happens next in movies, please react to The Game, with Michael Douglas. You won't guess the ending.
Think about it, someone goes to prison long-term they must be close to at least 20. If you’re in prison for 50 years, that makes you 70. You don’t know nothing else.
For what its worth for any type of reaction content. Use the term "reaction" in the titles when the content you are watching is something you've never seen before & use the term "review" when it is something you have seen before in life. This is true no matter what the content is; music, movies, television shows, etc... If it is something that you maybe saw bits & pieces of randomly because it was on somewhere you happened to be or what not then just try & make an honest assessment of how much of the content you may have caught over the years. If you hadn't seen that much then reaction is fine, but if it was a decent majority of it then use review.
*Edit*
Also, you should really title your reaction type content with the name of the content you react to [movie title, artist + title for music, etc...] with the addition of reaction/review. Anything beyond that is your call of course, but those 2 other things are really sort of a must. I just looked through your previous videos & noticed that none of them have those things in the titles & they really need to for people interested in reaction content to find/identify them as such.
But reading about 100 comments, reminded me that my top three movies that I recommend to those with my outlook on life are
I N C E P T I O N 💭
I N T E R S T E L L A R 🌃
I O R I G I N S 👁
Oh cool just saw this, enjoying the reaction and subscribed!! Will definitely check out other movie and/or show reactions you do 🥳🥳
The Mist
Green Mile
Stand By Me
Forest Gump
Saving Private Ryan
Best list to follow-up with
If you’d like to react to a good chick flick, if you haven’t seen it yet, movie called always starring Richard Dreyfuss, definite chick flick
I had to move on before you finished your long introduction but rather than repeat over and over that you don’t know what you’re doing you could easily check out a couple of the hundreds of other movie reaction channels prior to starting your own.
When the movie did come out, it didnt really do to well, with the critics and the box office, the movie gained traction through people like youself and word and mouth, to become one of the greatest movies i have ever seen, apart from the rocky franchise, which i was brought up on through my life and my age
The Green Mile is a must.... Great Reaction, Young Lady....
I wonder if you could handle doing an movie reaction to Schindlers List good reaction to shawshank movie
Because men don't cry, at least in front of others. They might go into their private room and let the tears flow. But then they suck it up, bury it, and move on. They might still feel it from time to time but they don't let it win. If you see a man crying in the open, it means something so massively terrible has happened that he doesn't have enough strength left to fight it off.
Oh wow I didn't think you do movie reactions . You definitely gotta react to Forrest Gump if you like this
