  • Hey everyone! It’s been awhile since I posted my last video. This video is a life update. I mention my trip to Canada, my potential solo motorcycle tour of the UK in November, purchasing a new motorcycle in the fall and I signed up for a half marathon! 😂🤘
Thank you for watching the video. I appreciate your support. Be sure to get to the end because I have a couple questions for you guys as far as the next motorcycle I am strongly considering. What are your thoughts on my bike of choice?
    I’ll see you all on the road! 🤘 #moto #solotravel #femalemotorcyclerider

I met an LA visitor recently who mentioned I needed to ride the 500. Thank you for your thoughts! I’m really hoping it works out for me to go, but if not November, definitely, Spring time. :)

Two thoughts for you… sounds like you have some expensive plans for the future so be wise with your $$$ (duh!) . Second, I was told years ago that when dirt riding “when in doubt, throttle out”. Most of my dirt tasting trips were caused by hesitation. Most of all have fun! 😊

Thank you! Yes! When in doubt throttle out. Money wisdom is my current journey. It has its challenges. Thank you for your comment!

dont over train. you have pretty high expectations for your half. dont over train. thats what got me into trouble when i started. shin splints are not fun. taking off 2 min a mile is a bit much, but good luck. 7 min mile is good, not sure of age, but look at your age group and look at top 15 percent of finishers. i was with in the top 5 percent, but then it became a drinking problem every saturday. lol

Hi! I should clarify, my desire for a five minute mile is just one mile, not my half pace haha. I certainly am not in that kind of shape. I’ll be running MUCH slower for that half marathon race. 😂🙂 well, we gotta get rid of that drinking and get you back in your runners! Let’s gooo! 💪🤘🤣

you hit a sad point, got hurt last year and unable to run. motorcycles and running was my love in life. 50 half marathons and 3 full. I was 100 percent motorcycle with no 4 wheel vehicle that worked. not sure i will ever run again and gained 40 pounds, herniated L3-L4 and severe impingement on L3 nerve which lost most of my left quads. I was a PT and very healthy. life changes. thanks for the update.

@@jennifer-schanuth nerves take forever to heal if they even do. So I might be a gimp . Crazy at 50 Y/O life changed like this. Hurt myself performing transfer training with a severely obese patient that had a LOB and I guess I am not superman. I am back on the bike and now doing my own videos. Really enjoyed your change of the tire. Just watch out for over training for your half, I got cocky in my first few. Wait, you didn't say it was your first. I remember mine. That runners high was crazy. Never have seen it again.

Oh wow. Yes, it's my first half marathon. I am more accustomed to less mileage, so it's actually been kind of fun to reframe my body and training for this half.@@BlakesPipes
