Really is a nice piece of property. Quick access to the interstate and close enough to take the back route to your old stomping grounds. That equipment is really nice. Love your vids!!! Keep up the good work.
Just in time for Christmas. Really like this new deck. I always prefer rear discharge and/or mulch but understand everyone has a preference. Amazing how it handled the ditch.
I really like that rear discharge, one of the reasons I run a mulch kit on my 60D is to eliminate the side discharge. 95" cut should really take a bite out of mowing time too.
Tim, that is one awesome piece of equipment. It would be a good tractor to have if I had to mow several acres of land. I have what I need to do the work I need done in my 1025r. You all take care.
These little tractors make me smile. Meanwhile I got a case maximum 140 hp electric shuttle shift 4x4, ac/heat, TV DVD with noise canceling headphones, gps self steer cruise control, air ride seat, hepa air filters and a 24ft. Finish floating batwing mower. Lows about 30 acres an hr. With kick turn for sharp turns.
A larger grooming deck has definitely been a requirement for quite awhile for the ventrac, in order to accommodate the dual wheels. It really looks great! Thank You for Your videos and thank You very much for the Encouraging Bible Verses at the end of every video! God Bless!
I think it needs some sort of rubber mat behind the discharge to keep down the dust and clippings from blowing back on the operator! Other than that Ventrac is the bomb!
Tim, I love this channel and, ventrac, but, I didn't hear (because my family was loud), how this new deck would help the average or, 'super' average homeowner! Thank you so much for displaying these products and keep on being awesome!
"I Think I take this" clever remark to get away from mowingwork! Might it will scalp a little when more moist. Great piece of machinery! Would be intresting to see with really thick grass. What will be the price? Most likely a little scary.
Tim that's a nice mower set up on that new tractor. you have a very nice piece of property and your yard is massive. that big mower should be a time saver. how is your brothers crops doing ? here in michigan we have been running soybeans for a week at 80 bushels an acre we have harvested 150 acres so far.
I would prefer a Bobcat Toolcat with a 90" finish mower. We had the 5600 high flow with pickup broom, V-plow, sidewalk sander, snow blower, bucket, and standard power broom. We tested a 90" mower, brush cutter, and asphalt patcher. The comfort quality is significantly different from the Ventac ( we used one with a blade for plowing for a very short time) and the fact that you can get it with Air conditioning was a big winner for us among other things like lift height, attachment options, and parts availability. We used ours as a year round machine and would definitely buy another.
One thing I would like to add would be about the sound difference between the two. To me it seems like the Ventrac was much louder especially in colder weather until the hydraulic fluid had warmed up. The toolcat I could spend all day inside of it plowing and it wasn't terrible with any of the attachments that we used. One thing that we did notice was we had to replace door seals usually right before the winter season At the two-year mark and that the four-year mark because over time it would get louder but replacing the seal would fix it. I used this machine to plow streets, parking lots, sidewalks and to clear trails in the summer as well as sweep 38 miles of road 4 times a year with the pickup broom. The one option that we didn't get was the stereo system but if you have to spend more than an hour inside of this machine I would highly recommend it ha ha. Fortunately it wasn't very difficult to set up a couple of speakers. Spending sometimes 13+ hours a day in the cab would normally seem unbearable but the Toolcat replaced a Ventrac and a 1981 Bobcat Skid-Steer that would take 2 days to do the same 13 hour job. Also being able to travel at 35 miles per hour between work areas and being able to register the Toolcat for the road helped.
I wonder if a mower wash system would work for keeping the blade area clean, something like the under -body washers for cars and trucks for removing salt spray and mud?
When mowing the last wide row next to the road, it might make more sense to start at the driveway end first. Then you would avoid twisting your way through the ditch to start.
Looks like the mound should be a new project. He can fix problems with the drainage ditch, improve run off to the pond,or reshape it to provide a more private area or hide a bunch of tracto implements and trailers.
I want a ventrac ever since I first saw you guys getting any but I'm pretty happy with my 1025r it does a great job for what I needed to do I just wish it was a little more simple for my wife to be able to use taking a bucket on and off for taking the mower on and off I showed her a dozen times and she still doesn't get it I need to try to get her to watch your Channel
I got our john deere x394 stuck on a hill once and I thought we would have to pull it out with our 2011 3/4 ton diesel pickup but it was able to get unstuck
Great design. Golf Courses and Park Depts are going to love them.Have you guys painted the house? Love the new color. I would like to see a pull behind string trimmer reviewed.
How does / did it perform on uneven ground? I wonder if a multi-point articulated deck allowing sections to float independently might enhance performance across such a wide area. Looks like it handles large flat areas with ease.
It has some ‘flex’ built in to it... kinda strange, actually. We found it to work much better than we thought it might. Those ‘cheater wheels ‘ as I called them, really worked well
The people in the red house across the road are going to be JEALOUS! With all the time saved mowing with that big deck, you'll still have extra time after you clean the deck.
I wonder why the higher horsepower model is a gas engine instead of a larger kubota diesel. Maybe because they do not want to go over 25 hp in the diesel which would require dpf to meet emissions? Great video Tim!
Your video created a 1st , my wife stopped in her tracks when she saw me watching this! She said if I had that I could mow our yard and my niece's yard in ten minutes! I like the no discharge chute design. It's sorta like a mulching set up, I like to leave the clippings for added nutrients. But I wonder if that leads to the deck being clogged in heavy wet grass?
How does this compare to the folding contour mower? I just looked it up and that ones 84”, I’m just wondering why Ventrac would make another big mower, is it a price difference due to simplicity? Or are there more particulars when one would be a better use than the other?
Everything I've seen with Vinny and his attachments shows rugged equipment and a very capable workhorse. That 95" mower deck would sure make short work of our 3 1/2 acres! Unfortunately, I do good to work attachments for my Johnny into the budget, so alas, it's 60 inches a pass for me.
Personally I have never been a fan of the rear discharge. Our company has both the Ventrac 72" side discharge, and the Xmark 96" with a rear discharge. I live in the mid-eastern part of Ohio, where in the spring grass not only grows very quickly, but it always soaking wet. The rear discharge just really struggles in the thick wetness. I will be curious to see how this handles the wetness that I know you also experience in the spring where you live.
well i mow 7 acres every week with a Scag Turf Tiger 52 inch in a little over 3 hours so that ventrac must be super slow to take 3 hours to do 3 acres less :/
I would think that pushing is not the way to go,or at least on rough terrain, all the shock winds up on the cupping the deck does not float for contours in the land ,i think what they use on golf courses is the way to go they clip the grass and make a neater job, they have easy access for maintenance plus you do not need a hydraulic system as well my thoughts.
Hey tim you should get a rear finish mower for your bigger johnnys and compare it to this beast and see which is better and if you do that do the same thing like you did here and see which is better
I would guarantee this is much better. Everyone I talk to says dont waste my time on a finishing mower and just get a large zero turn. My zero turn is about shot.
i like it... but i still say you should demo a 997r with the 72" deck... i think it would be faster than that because you mow at about 12 mph and can turn really fast... i just mowed a 2 acre yard with my 60" 997 a couple days ago and it took about 20 minuets or so... granted there is a house on that 2 acres and a shop so it wasn't a full 2 acres.. but still it was fast...
I have the 7' wide contour and the radiator is constantly getting clogged and over taxing the cooling system. Cut 15 minutes, idle down to cool and clean the radiator screen. My nose and lungs get almost as clogged. My new model 6' side discharge is a DREAM and the job gets done quicker due to less stopping and faster ground speed due to lower weight.
I had atractor 5yr. age it as 3720 04 cab belly mower 76 iom as 3100.00 morwer lift so had run a line form back thir line to run a snow blide7 ft box bladr scd plate qurck has on back 400 pl haite back sold it 3100.00 not happy but no way outgod blessyou &all
Oh my, my my my. That would be a joy to run! I like the under deck rollers. And great idea for rear discharge.
Really is a nice piece of property. Quick access to the interstate and close enough to take the back route to your old stomping grounds. That equipment is really nice. Love your vids!!! Keep up the good work.
That ventrac is so thoroughly designed and engineered. Amazing machine
Very neat that ventrac chose you guys for this debut.
That machine is awesome!!! Christy will be mowing the neighbors yards too. LOL God bless you guys.
Amazing. When I started watching I was sure it would scalp everywhere and it did not, very well engineered! Thank you for introducing this to us!
That kubota gas engine is fantastic. Wish we saw more of those.
Kinda skeptical on the fixed deck
I was too...but it has some ‘flex’ built into it.
We’ll see how it goes!
please collaborate asap!
Glad to see a fellow Hoosier, had no idea you all were from Indiana.
Tim, that is one awesome piece of equipment. It would be a good tractor to have if I had to mow several acres of land. I have what I need to do the work I need done in my 1025r. You all take care.

Oh yea, well, I've got a ... Oh well, forget it :-)
very impressed with how well it did in the ditch
Wow! What a machine! Happy for Christy!
A larger grooming deck has definitely been a requirement for quite awhile for the ventrac, in order to accommodate the dual wheels. It really looks great! Thank You for Your videos and thank You very much for the Encouraging Bible Verses at the end of every video! God Bless!
excellent loved
Hi Tim and Christy very nice machine it passed with flying colours
I think it needs some sort of rubber mat behind the discharge to keep down the dust and clippings from blowing back on the operator! Other than that Ventrac is the bomb!
Tim, I love this channel and, ventrac, but, I didn't hear (because my family was loud), how this new deck would help the average or, 'super' average homeowner!
Thank you so much for displaying these products and keep on being awesome!
Where was this mower 40-50 years ago, when I needed it?!?! I wonder how big of a snow blower it would handle?
Ventrac has to be the best mower/tractor for this size on the market. The new deck is just awesome, keep up the great videos love your channel.
Having worked IN a mower mfg. plant for over 40 years I am NOT impressed with the deck, rest of the mower is ok, but that deck needs MUCH refinement
@@REVNUMANEWBERN I don't know much about decks, curious what is deficient with this offering?
What’s that big hump in the middle of your open lawn?
That's where they buried Jimmy Hafa and other people that just disappeared.
My dealer told me about that deck last week, I would like to try one, I'm in the mountains WNC near Asheville
OK, that tractor and mower deck is what is needed here. That and some other pieces of equipment to go with it. LOL!!!
"I Think I take this" clever remark to get away from mowingwork! Might it will scalp a little when more moist. Great piece of machinery! Would be intresting to see with really thick grass.
What will be the price? Most likely a little scary.
Ventrac please add a hydraulic off set function to the cutting blade, that will really help when trimming under trees or fence work
NOW THATS A VIDEO!!!! I CAN NOT TELL YOU HOW EXCITED I WAS WHEN I SAW THE TITLE..... I HONESTLY DIDN’T BELIEVE MY EYES!! 🚫72”... 👍🏻👍🏻95”!!!!!

Salesman cringed when he flipped the shield and let it bounce.
Nice crease/dent in the metal
jay west yep, you can see the dent in the video
Yep. Kinda dumb on my part! Oh well!
Its real world testing , they may find rubber bumpers or limit cords could be added
Apparently they had already added rubber bumpers...this is a prototype unit which didn’t have them.
@@TractorTimewithTim the remark was not to fault anyone , as they said a prototype out for testing
Can you imagine manually lifting that big deck. Hercules!

That is pretty cool! Ventrac should make it flex so it contours uneven terrain.
Yay from the motorcycle perspective!!!
When mowing the last wide row next to the road, it might make more sense to start at the driveway end first. Then you would avoid twisting your way through the ditch to start.
What's the difference? He would have to twist his way back out at the end.
So how long does it take you to mow the yard now?
Will the Wide Area Mower work on the Steiner 450? Thanks!
Looks like a pretty awesome mower!

Im going to own one of these machines one day! lol they are sweet!
That much grass to cut is A LOT OF WORK AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY MARRIED COUPLE. BUT AS YOU GET OLDER, THE HARDER IT WOULD BE TO CONTINUE.
Would be great for mowing several acres. The pattern in the grass looked really neat from the drone shot.

my 48 walker cut 4 acres / hr she took 3 hours to cut 5 acres? I think she needs the 190" deck size.
Not a big fan of the gas engine but I must say that thing is pretty impressive!
My mind is blown by the scalp wheel built into the bottom side of the deck 🤯! I swore he scalped the topside of that ditch
Wow that's a much bigger mower. How does Christy like it?!
Edit: ope, there she is!

I doubt it..since it doesn’t have to throw the grass all the way to the right. But obviously no firsthand experience.
Nice machine! I'm wondering which motor you will like more gas or diesel.
diesel is far more durable and much, much more fuel efficient. the Kubota D902 offered as the diesel option is a great engine, also used in the BX
get the auto track universal from deere.. i bet it would work well for nice straight stripes... lol
Yeah that Z is real shiny like ✨!
Another Fantastic video! One question, I will have to build a side load trailer to take this to job sites lol. Another video option for you (wink)
Great content!
What a great verse!!
Love the mowing videos!!!!!

Nice set up
Tim on your Ventrac 95 when you increase your engine speed do your blades spin the same speed or faster
Faster…just like any mower.
Great job Tim. Nice mower. Should save more time
What is the Blade Tip Speed of this mower? My MS720 with 25inch high lift is about 19K-20K
I am curious to know how much faster she can get it all done compared to the previous one.

Ventrac has a more expensive contour mower which does have significant flex built into it.
Your wife’s going to be done a lot faster, if it was me I’d get my wife a 48 inch cut and have the whole day to myself ! Lol😂😝😜
Ha ha ha. Wonderful advice.
wow that does a amazing job. What is the cost on a unit like that?

Yes, I think so. Contact Ventrac to verify. (Use Ventrac.com to find contact info)

I prefer the diesel on a mower but in normal mowing conditions or just clean flat land gas with lots of HP is good enough,..
at 6:50 to 7:05, those tires is messing with my mind.
Cant wait to own one!!
I wonder how much this cost VERSES how many times you can get a yard crew to mow and trim?
