"Epic build"??? You've taken on a challenge with such limited resources that even our Ben Crowe would find a way to avoid replicating! I've never seen Ben nor anyone else make their own truss rod, and now you've upped the game further by designing and making your own tuners. Brilliant!
Ok, so I'm in love with your tanalised fretboard! And that instrument from a torture dungeon you made to clamp the body is wonderful engineering. (...and then I saw the engineering for the tuners). You're off the scale!
Absolutely killer build! Just the fact that you are going to try and make your own bridge and tuners with what you have on hand is amazing! Keep up the awesome work Bogdan
Man, since I found your entry to this GGBO challenge I've been impressed from the first episode with the tools you've had and used, so very basic and yet you have produced, what to me is looking to be a masterpiece. If you're not 1 of the 5 picked to be featured on Crimson, I would be highly surprised.
Another great video Bogdan and your guitar is really looking fantastic. I love the homemade clamp for the body, I think big clamps are overrated:). Most of all your ingenuity, creativity and skills are absolutely amazing, I am learning a lot from your work. Cheers Dave
The neck looks good! And it's amazing that you're designing and making your own tuners. The one question I has is how you'll adjust the truss rod. But I guess I'll find out in the next one or two videos.
It's actually quite humbling, watching you making a guitar with little more than a ball of string and a stick of chewing gum Oh! And a warehouse full of imagination!
Thank you! Well I am technically part or the school of computing and engineering, but my main study area is music technology and acoustics, in which I'm doing a PhD at the moment.
Just buy the headless tuners That way they can be as small as you want and you wouldn't have to struggle coming up with a unique concept (well untill you have all the proper machinery etc too hand then you can go all out with all kinds of concepts) OR ... you could always make a headstock for it and put normal tuners ont the guitar again saving you time and hassle
@@BogdanBacila301 That would be the best way to go just ow i would reckon You ca always mess around in your next build when you're not under as much time restraint to get it finished
Really interesting stuff you are doing. Bogdan, I have two questions you may not care to answer, but here goes . . . are you an engineer, and what country are you from? Just curious. Anyway, I am looking forward to the rest of the build.
Thank you! I am not technically an engineer, I graduated music technology, but I am now doing a PhD in Acoustics, which did kind of teach me how to deal with big projects where I would face new things every time. I am originally from Romania but now I live in the UK
this is incredible!! well done B
Thank you so much! Coming from you this is a huge compliment!
What you're doing--and have already done-- is off the charts. An amazing job.
Thank you so much!
You’ve got more...well...everything ... than I could deal with! Wow 😮
Thank you!

Haha, thank you! Hopefully I can pull off the tuners as well :D
Fantastic work Bogdan. Looking forward to the rest of the build
Thank you!
So innovative with minimal tools, respect & awesome talent is obvious 👍🍻
Thank you very much!
Always look forward to watching this build. Some next level stuff going on! I'll be waiting as patiently as possible to see what you do next.
Thank you!
Starting to look really good. And designing your own bridge pieces is a monumental task. Awesome work.
Thank you so much!
Just watched all your videos for this build. Easy decision to subscribe.
As someone who has tinkered with guitars, this blows my mind.
Awesome.
Thank you so much!

Thank you, Chris, really appreciate it! :D
This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this build.
Thank you!
Awesome work. Looking great.
Thank you!

Very inspiring build.

Good ok
I'm so impressed with this build! Amazing, well done 👊
Thank you so much!
Just found this. Very interesting. Subd!
Thank you!

Thank you Dave, I am learning a lot from your work too, the clamp was indeed inspired by yours 😁
The neck looks good! And it's amazing that you're designing and making your own tuners. The one question I has is how you'll adjust the truss rod. But I guess I'll find out in the next one or two videos.
Thank you! There will be a hole at the end of the headstock which will make the truss rod accessible, because it's a headless design
It's actually quite humbling, watching you making a guitar with little more than a ball of string and a stick of chewing gum

Thank you so much!
that guitar is looking so good, love the fret board. THe self designed tuners are next level. Please tell me you are studying engineering
Thank you! Well I am technically part or the school of computing and engineering, but my main study area is music technology and acoustics, in which I'm doing a PhD at the moment.
This becoming a very nice guitar. I really like this. Good luck on the tuners, looking forward to the next update.
Thank you!
This is an amazing build, keep going and share these wonderful videos, bravo.
Thank you! I will!

Thank you! Well that's the plan in a way, if I can't get them sorted by this week I will buy them and carry on with the rest of the build 😅

Inspiring project. Love to follow this! By the way, what music is this?
Thank you! The music is all listed in the description 😁
✌😎

Bogdan came here to chew bubblegum and build a guitar from scratch. And guess what? He's all out of bubble gum.
Haha well that's quite true to be honest
