That said, most people support shooting innocent animals in the head--they just do it vicariously and pay slaughterhouse workers to use the captive bolt gun. And innocent animals do NOT deserve to be incarcerated, tortured, branded, castrated, and have their teeth and other body parts cut off (all without anesthesia), then killed at a fraction of their normal lifespans--many dismembered while still fully conscious--just for the pleasure of human taste buds. 😢

I’m a proud parent of 3 dogs, a Bulldog, Rottweiler and Italian Mastiff any one that talks about dogs like that needs to meet my cat!
I have always had a dog and when they passed I cried and screamed for a while then my husband would get me a new one
I never got over losing them but vowed to adopt a shelter dog to make sure they lived the best lives they could until they passed of old age.

I have friends in Montana who are ranchers and farmers. Dogs protect their homes and livestock; cats keep the rodent population at bay. If a dog is immature or untrainable for their purpose, they usually try to rehome it.
These people spend thousands of dollars to innoculate livestock, trim horses' hooves, and provide feed for their animals because those animals are their livelihoods; either to be sold or used for their own food.
If those animals are injured or seriously ill, owners are likely to call a veternarian to euthanize larger animals; others may be shot. BUT THEY DON'T TAKE PICTURES OR WRITE ABOUT IT WITH PRIDE.
