Hello I'm having issues adding friends on Facebook
Feel strongly negatively. They aggressively collect a large amount data without us knowing and benefit from it at the expense of our privacy. Google does the same… so does Apple. It’s time for regulators to step up their game before this goes out of control.

Even though what you showed and what I see on my phone's Facebook app are a little different, I was able to do what you suggested. Thank you • Now, I use my desktop Mac 98% of the time for Facebook. So, these settings I made on my iPhone, do they also apply to my desktop use of Facebook?

I really appreciate you both taking the time to educate us. This really highlighted how companies like Facebook benefit from people not understanding how they are using default settings to their advantage. The fact that the company would pay for a full-page ad to plead with people not to change their privacy settings says it all...

I don't understand why an alternative social media site doesn't take over. I quit FB a long time ago because of their tracking practices. Thank you so much for all your good iPhone/iPad information. Best yet.

People will be way less likely to watch them if the videos are long… I usually just press pause to play with the settings :)
Don’t think it’s what version of iPhone, am guessing it varies from country to country as noticed slight differences on my iPhone here in UK.. Correct me if i.m wrong.
That’s why there’s a Pause button. Did you even watch? They said near the end that they have a PDF with all the info, so you don’t need to leave a comment saying “you’re going too fast, or even use the pause button”.
I go back and pause it as I go..good luck. Their information is on point!

All people have to do is go to settings and slow the video down if your going to fast for them. Wonderful feature. I do this all the time if I am writing down recipes

Thanks guys!!! Had some of those settings already turned off. I’m sure it’s because of the previous video. However, I was surprised how many apps showed access to my camera and microphone and I don’t even know why they should need it so the settings were changed for those apps too.
