I ordered slim book 256GB in June at 29k. 2 days after the order, the price of asus vivobook 512Gb dropped and became same as realme so I cancelled realme laptop and booked asus. During that time I was very confused as the design of realme slim was very good compared to asus and I didn't had much storage req. also. Today watching this video on my vivobook, feeling very lucky and happy.
I think the main case here is that when the business is main, then the companies give more emphasis on it. Like in case of realme , there main R&D will be on smartphones rather than laptops, because they just wanted to test a product
True. If a user is confused & strict on the budget then obviously go for more trusted brands rather than feature rich experiments. That would make a good impression on the experience of using a device.
I usually had a lot of trust in realme devices in the past. They were aggresively priced while having minimal ads and having my favourite UI i.e. colorOS. But at present they are in shambles in a way. Their devices are still great but as with Dizo and now their Book series, they far too unreliable. On top of that still no official statement about these products.
There are lots of others RUclipsr with millions of subscribers but i don't know why always my brain and heart want to goes with this man advice literally you are pure gold
Watching on Asus tuf F17. In my opinion, going for these laptops are better than realme, redmi etc. The main reason is brands like realme redmi etc don't focus entirely on the laptop segment. So some products remain kind of half baked. But brands like acer, hp and asus focus more on this segment. So it provides a better experience. Sure there are some exceptions like the honor and some infinix laptops. But still those brands are not ready for the market yet.

Same is the case with Avita laptops, they did all paid marketing 4 years ago and was available on Flipkart. Now no new models launched since 2-3 years. Still selling old Intel 8th Gen laptops in 2023 leftover stock when reputed brands are having 13th Gen laptops in market.

I have been using the realme Book Slim for nearly a year and have thoroughly enjoyed doing so, so it's saddened me greatly that their laptop range has been discontinued. Since watching this video, I have been in correspondence with the realme India team via texts. They claim they will do their best in providing after-sales support to the existing users. I suppose we'll have to wait and find out if that ever turns out to be the case.
I wouldn't trust their service center one bit. I had to visit their centre for power button issue with my phone and they simply directed to another service centre cause it was old. They put lots of fake reviews to increase their rating in Google if anything we are on our own. The product deserves better support
@@HR-eb4vs I'm sure such a matter can be resolved by calling up a service centre first. They'll just coordinate among themselves and tell you which branch to visit for your specific model. At least, that was my experience with Oppo.
Same here, been using it for about 2 years and it's a really nice laptop I have used Asus vivobooks before and Realme felt more premium for the same price
I have Realme Book Slim for 2 years, it's working fine for my day to day tasks. I did had issues with overheating at some point so decided to take out the heat pipes and clean the fans, appled some good quality thermal paste and temps are now normal. I also upgraded the SSD to 1TB gen4. I was even able to take out the mother board all by myself, it's quite well designed for taking apart. However, I am currently using Linux on it, Windows feels just too heavy for my snappy tasks. 😅
@@zoro_065 Battery health was already reduced to 80% of the original by the time I started using Linux on this machine. Now I get mostly 2.5 hours of battery life on RUclips and basic tasks. 11th gen i5 is not that much power efficient as the 12th or 13th gen. I am currently using Ubuntu with Gnome 45 on Wayland. I tried KDE before but that didn't match my taste. Gnome is heavy but 8GB RAM is enough to drive it for now.
I think after Madhav exited Realme along with some core members, they seem to be kinda slowed down. Hope they don't go down entirely. Because we need them chasing Xiaomi, otherwise we customers will be the ultimate losers...

I went to realme store to know more about this product. The salesman was surprised he was like why would you want to buy a realme laptop? Go for HP or dell. But those were so badly built that I decided to raise the budget quite a bit and bought the OG MacBook Air instead
A daily User of Realme Book slim I had purchased the realme book slim back in the September 2022 for my office purpose and It still running good just feeling the battery is degrading as the time passes but apart from that everything seems working fine but knowing the fact that realme just discontinued this project is a very bad image on them it's such a good product. I have been using the Realme Book Slim i5 version for more than two years now and I have to admit it was a great piece of hardware. I upgraded the SSD to 1TB Gen4 and even changed the thermal paste after cleaning the fans and heat pipe (all by myself) Internals are well-designed for self-accessibility and cleaning. I am currently using Linux on this machine and it's performing top-notch.

I was about to buy this laptop back in 2022 but didn't buy it due to financial issue and it turns about to be best decision. because I recently bought dell G15 5520 I5 12500H with 16 ram and 512gb memory in 62250 and turns out best deal for me. as it comes with RTX3050. except heating issue and bulky design there is no issue. also, battery backup is not great as you know it is gaming laptop.

It depends upon which processor generation you're choosing,go for 13th generation intel prcoessors for long battery life. I prefer Asus laptops cuz I'm using 3 Asus laptops Asus vivobook gaming (2019), Asus S15s dual display(2021),Asus Zenbook Oled (2023) . All still works and the Asus Zenbook is Evo i7 13 th gen ,gives me 8+ hrs of battery in normal use but its 1.3Lac , so go for i5 13th generation were you get for 50-60 range and great battery life
I am currently using the realme book slim i5 varient, I got it in September 22 for 41k. Works fine for me. I don't game. Battery is good, 3:2 screen ratio is good. Only con I noticed is the 8gb ram.

Will honor magicbook also be considered as new brand or a brand one should avoid? They have been launching laptop every year though ,but don't have physical service center , but they provide home pick up and drop service for repair .
Honor may not be a new laptop brand but it's definitely not a good laptop brand When you are spending 30-50k on a laptop, at least expect a physical service centre
I am Devesh Mishra from New Delhi and I have successfully registered for Lpunest exam 2024 and currently I am in 6th sem in Diploma From Cse branch and I chose Diploma just after completing my 10th class , I am facing two issues with lpunest exam form. 1. I have completed the form and successful registered for Lpunest exam and also booked the slot for the exam and it is on 28 January,24 , and as I have to take admission in Btech Cse lateral entry my lpunest exam is total 90 min for 90 questions in which eng is compulsory and I have to choose other two subjects but after booking slot for examination, still I have no option to choose remaining two subjects for the lpunest exam, this is my first query please tell me when can I choose subjects for Lpunest exam. 2. Second query is regarding admission, as in my lpu account after login in , take admission option is coming and after clicking it and choosing Engineering, it is showing me All options of diploma lateral entry, but I have to take admission in Btech Cse lateral entry and there should be option of btech not diploma as i am already doing diploma currently. It's fine, I have had it for 2 years now and am very much satisfied with the i5 version. I upgraded the SSD and even cleaned the heat vents after changing the thermal paste by myself. It was a good product, sad that Realme discontinued it. Also, I should mention, that the official site doesn't have any drivers and support so I switched to Linux.

And one thing is Realme laptop jaisa display toh kisi laptop me bhi milta acer Lenovo hp in jaisa brand 50k ka laptop me bhi 1080p display dal rahe hai. Realme infinix 2k + 100% sRGB display de sakta hai toh in jaisa nami dami brand kyu nhi de sakta . I purchased it in 2021 BBD @38k... occasionally it's mouse pad stops working and suddenly starts working again after some days that's the only major issue I found in it in last 2.5years. And seeing this videos I am scared if I will get good resale value or not for this in future or what will happen if it stops working now.😢 My last laptop was of lenovo of 30k.range which worked almost fine for around 8yrs 😊

I had purchased the realme book slim back in the September 2022 for my office purpose and It still running good just feeling the battery is degrading as the time passes but apart from that everything seems working fine but knowing the fact that realme just discontinued this project is a very bad image on them it's such a good product.
Thanks Realme for this product it's my first laptop and an amazing experience.

I have been using the Realme Book Slim i5 version for more than two years now and I have to admit it was a great piece of hardware.
I upgraded the SSD to 1TB Gen4 and even changed the thermal paste after cleaning the fans and heat pipe (all by myself)
Internals are well-designed for self-accessibility and cleaning. I am currently using Linux on this machine and it's performing top-notch.

I was about to buy this laptop back in 2022 but didn't buy it due to financial issue and it turns about to be best decision.
because I recently bought dell G15 5520 I5 12500H with 16 ram and 512gb memory in 62250 and turns out best deal for me.
as it comes with RTX3050. except heating issue and bulky design there is no issue. also, battery backup is not great as you know it is gaming laptop.

Bhai mere pass bhi ye laptop hai, maine ise launch ke time hi kharida tha aur ye iss price range mai bohot sahi features deta tha, abhi tak only battery drainage ka isse hai ab 100% charge mai rought 3.5hr deta hai pehle 7-8hr chal jata tha, baaki koi dikkt nhi, sound mast hai, display mast hai, slim aur fast bhi hai. But Realme me ko discontinue nhi karna cahiye tha yaar.

I want to change my laptop it has been 3 yrs I am using Lenovo laptop it is working good but main problem is battery life it's very disappointing it does not gives battery life up to more than 1 hours now I want to change can you suggest some laptops under 30k-50k laptops and congratulations to you on 3 Million YT Family keep going and bring more such tech information and reviews it helps us lot .😊
It depends upon which processor generation you're choosing,go for 13th generation intel prcoessors for long battery life. I prefer Asus laptops cuz I'm using 3 Asus laptops Asus vivobook gaming (2019), Asus S15s dual display(2021),Asus Zenbook Oled (2023) . All still works and the Asus Zenbook is Evo i7 13 th gen ,gives me 8+ hrs of battery in normal use but its 1.3Lac , so go for i5 13th generation were you get for 50-60 range and great battery life
Don't buy any i5 laptop below 12 gen. They are junk by today's standards.
I am currently using the realme book slim i5 varient, I got it in September 22 for 41k. Works fine for me. I don't game. Battery is good, 3:2 screen ratio is good. Only con I noticed is the 8gb ram.

Will honor magicbook also be considered as new brand or a brand one should avoid? They have been launching laptop every year though ,but don't have physical service center , but they provide home pick up and drop service for repair .
Honor may not be a new laptop brand but it's definitely not a good laptop brand

I am Devesh Mishra from New Delhi and I have successfully registered for Lpunest exam 2024 and currently I am in 6th sem in Diploma From Cse branch and I chose Diploma just after completing my 10th class , I am facing two issues with lpunest exam form.
1. I have completed the form and successful registered for Lpunest exam and also booked the slot for the exam and it is on 28 January,24 , and as I have to take admission in Btech Cse lateral entry my lpunest exam is total 90 min for 90 questions in which eng is compulsory and I have to choose other two subjects but after booking slot for examination, still I have no option to choose remaining two subjects for the lpunest exam, this is my first query please tell me when can I choose subjects for Lpunest exam.
2. Second query is regarding admission, as in my lpu account after login in , take admission option is coming and after clicking it and choosing Engineering, it is showing me All options of diploma lateral entry, but I have to take admission in Btech Cse lateral entry and there should be option of btech not diploma as i am already doing diploma currently. So it is my main concern about, please correct this issue pr glitch coming in my account, and please resolve the problem. 0:04

Asus ka laptop faulty aya or flipkart walo ne replacement nhi dia 2 mhine wait krne ke bad m asus service centre gya aur unhone mere faulty parts( ssd, keyboard) replace krke 3-4 dino me de diya ab theek chlra h, to mujhe asus ka service theek lga.

It's fine, I have had it for 2 years now and am very much satisfied with the i5 version. I upgraded the SSD and even cleaned the heat vents after changing the thermal paste by myself.
It was a good product, sad that Realme discontinued it.
Also, I should mention, that the official site doesn't have any drivers and support so I switched to Linux.

I'm using realme slim, prime and one acer aspire series laptop but best in class performance, battery backup I got in realme laptop. And one thing is Realme laptop jaisa display toh kisi laptop me bhi milta acer Lenovo hp in jaisa brand 50k ka laptop me bhi 1080p display dal rahe hai. Realme infinix 2k + 100% sRGB display de sakta hai toh in jaisa nami dami brand kyu nhi de sakta . Yeh top brand ke chakkar me hum galat product utha leta hai aur ye brand wala profit margin bhut jyada rakhte hai .

I purchased it in 2021 BBD @38k... occasionally it's mouse pad stops working and suddenly starts working again after some days that's the only major issue I found in it in last 2.5years.
And seeing this videos I am scared if I will get good resale value or not for this in future or what will happen if it stops working now.😢
