Amen to all of this. World of Winx's best aspect is how the girls occasionally get to show their personalities more than the modern seasons, but that ain't much, and the rest is just so underwhelming and nonsensical. Sidenote: appreciate the little shoutout! Hope you enjoy the S6 rewrite XD

Tbh, I actually couldn’t stand WoW because of how sloppy the story was. I don’t even get why Roxy was in it if she only appeared for a few episodes but once again was banned from transforming. Plus the police characters literally don’t do ANYTHING after figuring out Bloom’s a fairy. I actually somewhat enjoyed the second season more because it felt more solid, especially their Nemesis forcing them to confront their inner demons. Sadly it still is ruined by how poorly written the story of using Peter Pan is used. Peter himself doesn’t even appear in the entire story, only Wendy Darling and her mentioning he apparently dumped his son on her. I’d like a little backstory please. Like the only redeeming part was Venomia actually being an ancient witch who clearly hates fairies and how the Winx will take care of Earthlings discovering magic and fairies are real.

Yeah sorry about the late response… I keep the notifications off, the little red badges stress me out lol I like the idea of keeping Tinker Bell but she should get a redesign and for goodness sake don’t let Peter Pan’s son enter the picture at all! And they could totally make the show angle work if they got rid of the visions, and made it so that the show was their method for finding people who are so talented they might have magic. like potentially fairies, witches or paladins. Oh and Tinker Bell could be like trying to recruit them through the show because Ace is her right hand man and we might as well make him Captain Hook, because I don’t like the Captain Hook that’s in the show. And Roxy good be like stressed out because she’s basically the de facto leader of the earth chapter of the Winx and there could be a little drama with that and maybe a cameo of the original Winx cast. Sorry kind of went off on a tangent there
@@bubblingmoon yeah, I didn't like Matt either, just trash 😂😂😂😂. You suggested make Ace Captain Hook, but I would prefer to get rid of Peter Pan's cannon characters and keep with Tinker Bell only. Ace could be actually the Shaman. Or have some of them just to give Tinker Bell a backstory and explain how she became that way (Like Peter, Wendy, Hook or Tiger Lilly). And of course, keep the mermaids and the Crocodile Man. Also agree with the Winx cameo. It would give the fanservice a spin off like that needed.
You also forgot to mention the fact that they lightened up Flora's and Aisha's skin color. At least you got their skin colors right when you drew that awesome picture as you were ranting the problems WoW had.
Thank you for the compliment on the picture! I referenced everybody’s skin tone from their first appearances in the main series. I may revisit the world of Winx sometime in the future because there’s A couple more things that bugged me about the show, white washing included. I just don’t have the best equipment right now so I can’t make an hour long video. Somebody should’ve told the art Director that just because they were trying to soften the color palette didn’t mean they should lighten skin tones 😩
Also, Mirta should be a recurring character as well as remaining a Witch instead of becoming a Fairy. Outside of Griffin, Witches don't seem to get a good rep in the series (with most of it being the Trix who give Witches a bad name). Yeah, they use Dark Magic but they aren't inherently evil.
Yes I would love that! The line between fairy and which never seemed that well defined to me. when I was a kid I thought that it was just what kind of magic you were more attuned to. Like if you have a real affinity for fairy magic you can choose to be a witch but you wouldn’t be quite as strong as other witches. I always thought that most witches would be like a neutral alignment, “I live in the magical universe so of course I’d protect it.” that kind of thing.

Roxy definitely deserved better. Still doesn't make sense to me how she got Believix right off the bat (some ppl say hers is not believix but the size and designs of her wings matching the others' say otherwise) and i wish the writers introduced her in an early season OR have her speedrun the previous forms so it would make more sense 🤣 and the true hate crime is not giving her butterflix when it revolves around MAGIC CREATURES...
Girl don’t even talk to me about butterflix, season seven makes my blood boil from beginning to end and even though I hate the design of butterflix the fact that Roxy never got it is an absolute sin🤬 you know Roxy isn’t even my favorite Winx club member but the way they keep her around just to ignore her and shove her in the background is so upsetting.

I grew up with both the nick and 4kids version of wink and i absolutely love both. The world of winx just never excited me. It’s almost like they took the same characters and created a whole different backstory for each fairy and that annoyed my inner child. Everything ab it made me angry, like a lot more angry than I should be for a kids show 😭

i liked the world of winx only because of their powers. i feel like they are way stronger in world of winx, actually summoning their elements. like aisha is able to make a giant water fist using the lake or any body of water near her. she can also just make the whole room drown. flora's powers is the same from the winx club show, she just grows giant roots. but stella in world of winx has control over light. i like that instead of stella using her magic spells that comes with the transformation, she just uses any light source. i just feel like in world of winx, their powers actually makes sense. i do wish for a better transformation outfit and another thing that made me interested into world of winx is the fact that they connected winx club universe with tinkerbell universe. i never expected to hear the name tinkerbell or peter pan in a winx show. but I'm so glad that I am not the only one that noticed when stella was having flashbacks because of her nemesis, that stella's bullies looked like people from earth. i was also wondering that since stella is royalty, they shouldn't bully a royal. why are they bullying a princess.
Their powers were cooler in wow I just wasn’t a fan of how it seemed like they were rediscovering them. That’s probably because it was a alternate timeline but I think they could’ve done a better job at setting that up. Stellas light magic was really nice and I also like how bloom wasn’t just the most powerful one by default. I did miss the dragon flame, though, not gonna lie. Hearing Tinker Bell‘s name literally sent me over the edge the first time I was watching the show. I was so excited to see what they would do with Neverland and I think that’s part of the reason why I was so disappointed with how small it felt in wow.
Yeah, I also noticed musa didn’t really get any storylines or focus really aside from the one episode dealing with her nemesis she went from being a self-assured, confident musician to just being the nice one with music powers.

I digress as the girls finally got some good screen time! They serve almost no purpose in the story practically. And they were already getting annoying in the original series, like in season 4 while the winx celebrated being on tv, they literally make fun of them... And their friendship is perfect without boys to get in the way of their amazing moments together.
Maybe Bloom gave up the Dragon Flame? Since Daphne is crown princess to Domino’s throne, the Dragon Flame might have gone back to her or her child. If Bloom marries Sky, she would become the queen of Eraklyon. I thought the Dragon Flame stayed with the ruling family of Domino. I don’t know. 🤷♀️

Exactly! if it’s a continuation of the main series it’s a failure because it doesn’t have any continuity, and if it’s a spin off they completely failed to set anything up and they completely rely on you having seen the original show. A couple people in the comments mentioned that it was always intended to be a spinoff but if that’s the case they need to tell us at the very least how the Winx know each other and how they know their fairies! Stella even mentions how bloom came up with the name Winx! you can’t just directly reference the main series and expect me not to care!
I actually hate how they ruined Aisha character in this. They made her rude and immature, a cliché of the sporty impatient girl when in the original show she was sweet, caring and had a great knowledge of her environment and was smart too, with a backbone. I really wasn’t here for her attitude. I liked her being aggressive only a few times for Loralei tho~
Yeah, I guess her personality did take a huge downgrade in wow. On top of being rude and impatient she was also just kind of bland. Remember when she wasn’t just the sports one and dancing and being free was a huge part of her character. However, when she bullies Loralei, it gives me life.

Tbh I rlly dont mind WoW bc I think it's set in a different universe/timeline or smth. Sure, they did mess up with some stuff (#roxydeservesbetter) but overall it was cool (and maybe take Bloom off the stage for Musa to sing? for once?). It felt different, they didn't need to use spells to use magic and they didn't need to say "Magic winx bla bla bla) anymore. The specialists are finally gone, and I like how they adjusted the powers to more non-bias stuff. Bloom doesn't have the "almighty dragon flame that makes her better than everyone else" and they all had good character development. I don't like that they made a kid smarter than Tecna though. As for Aisha's morphix stuff, I've always found it ridiculous that she's the fairy of waves and yet she needs some weird purple liquid to use her powers (although I think she used a water-based spell in her Bloomix transformation) and Onyrix also brought out the Moon part of Stella! And my girl Musa rocked this show. The hairs seem large mainly cuz the lines aren't visible enough. I wish they brought back characters like Evans and Gomez in the 2nd season cuz they seemed interesting, the way the girls treated Lorelei definitely made me laugh lol, overall it was pretty good. Wish it would be renewed for a new season since Fate is cancelled.
It’s been made clear that after Nickelodeon took the wheel, writers have absolutely no idea what they’re doing with the franchise at all. The storylines are all over the place, things are either left out or too much is being put in. Makes me glad that there’s a reboot coming out.
I wanted to like World of Winx because I have loved Winx Club since I was a little girl, but it just didn't feel like Winx Club at all. It felt like a completely different series or something from a really bad AU fanfiction. The transformations were really pretty, though, but I agree that the poses were super awkward and too supermodel-like and the huge hair was weird. Whoever created World of Winx has obviously never watched or tried to pay attention to the original series. Flora was awesome in World of Winx.
Absolutely, it might take me a little bit to get to it because I am working on another animal crossing tarot card video at the moment (and I’m not super fast at making videos yet) but after that I’d love to talk about W.I.T.C.H. Honestly in the day and age of making gritty remakes of old shows I’m surprised no one‘s done it yet it was already kind of a dark gritty fantasy it wouldn’t take much work at all to revamp the idea for a new run.
Dude you drew that! That looks wonderful! You should just make a fan comic of Stella and blooms growing relationship if you want some ideas I can give you some. But fan comic aside let me tell you the original setup they had for the Pixies in season 2 & season 3 and and how they changed season 4 Believix. In season 2 when the winxs were supposed to cast spells the Pixies was supposed to up the power along with their charmx but we never got that. In season 3 during Enchantix the Pixies were to give out pixie dust so the fairies can convert it into fairy dust but for some reason the plot got changed the Pixies were supposed to be useful but the writers decided not to use them. Now in season 4 when the warlocks were looking for Roxy they decided to create monsters using a random child's fear and the monster was feeding off of that child's fear and near that child would be the random Fairy of the day and that fairy would get that child to believe in them and they would wind up getting their Believix. And last but not least Bloom would transform when she gets Roxie to believe in her It was supposed to be similar to season 3 with of them transforming separately but for some reason they didn't want to repeat season 3 and just have Roxy believe in them and have a giant group transformation. Now I heard this information years ago so I don't know how much of this is true is but If you ask me they should have kept the original plans for season 4 because that sounds badass.
You saved me the trouble of watching this spinoff lmao. I agree that the frist episode throws us into things way too quickly and we don't know the context at all, but it was the only episode I watched. I hated the cringe 2010s aesthetic and vibes so I couldn't watch it at all. I prefer the wholesome cringe of the 2000s aesthetic of seasons 1-4. I also agree on the specialists being boring and useless 💀 only good thing about them is the song introducing them in winx power show, it's fire. But the romance and relationships are so cheesy ajd unrealistic, except Nabu and Aisha/Layla, and maybe Stella and Brandon. Sky and Bloom's relationship is built on a lie and sky wanting to cheat on his literal fiancée, Flora and Helia are only dating so Flora won't be the only single winx girl, timmy and tecna's whole shtick is that they're both nerds so they MUST love each other 💀. And ofcourse Musa and Riven are cringe af and toxic but we all agree on that, I hope. Roxy indeed deserves better and I love her a lot, she's a sweet and innocent and kindhearted child and I love her sister like bond with Bloom. One thing I disagree with though is the earth stuff being boring, maybe in wow, but in season four I kinda enjoyed it. I'm not western and I never got to experience stuff like that growing up (I'm 20 now), never had a group of friends or was allowed to hang out in a nice place where we can eat and drink and watch local bands play, we don't have that where I come from, so I really enjoyed seeing that in season 4. Idk if people actually experience or live like that in the west but it doesn't seem far fetched to me. I yearn for what the winx club girls have tbh, being in a band and having a hanging out spot and having a huge close group of friends like that and even having a boyfriend or girlfriend to hang out with there. So all of that combined made me appreciate season 4 despite its weird timeline issues with the earth fairies and wizards of the dark circle (who are my favorite villains because of their brotherly bond), they existed in the medieval ages but Queen Morgana somehow got to get married and have a child in the modern age 🤨🤨🤨 and THEN got captured, and the wizards disappeared and appeared later after CENTURIES and so she was imprisoned for CENTURIES but she has a 16 yo daughter 🗿 But I still enjoyed the earth fairies and the difference types of them and roles and fights were cool af. My favorite in the series and the most engaging. But believix fashion is pure early 2010s cringe 🗿 the music is cool though and I like the winx band, but I agree that Musa should be the lead singer. Idk if you know this or not but there's the Winx in concert album where each song is about one of the girls and her parents or bf or dreams and aspirations etc. and some songs are about the group as a whole and I assume each song about a certain girl is supposedly sang by that girl. I sogni modo miei is about Aisha/Layla, and vita da star is about Stella and her friendship with bloom, and La tua musica e la mia is about Musa and her mom and so on. Pretty neat concept imo and probably a way to market the winx club band but idk. That's all I have to say, nice video, I enjoyed having dinner to it 😁

Even though it’s not my favorite and has some timeline issues season four is really great and still brings a lot to the table, though I could do without believix (it just looks like weird exercise clothes to me💀 I can’t lol) I just wish that they could have some of those fun times on the other girls home planets every now and then. I’d love to see what a music café and melody would look like, or maybe they could go camping on Linphea or to a Beachside resort on Tides. And if there’s one thing about the Winx club I would absolutely change if I could Is the timeline issues. I always thought a good mix for the Winx club band would be Musa lead singer and guitar, Flora on base, Techna on keyboard, and Aisha/Layla on drums. Stella could be the stylist of the band and design their sets, and bloom Could be the manager making sure they’re not getting into bad contracts or being taken advantage of by venue owners. @Bubbling Moon late reply, but I agree it would've been great to see the girls hangout on other planets than earth. We almost got them hanging out on Solaria in season 3, and I think in the newer seasons they go to lynphea, zenith, and melody but idk for how long or if they had fun there. Also I recently realized the timeline issues of Daphne's story and Domino's destruction in general. It was destroyed 16 years before season 1, but Daphne was a kid when bloom was born according to the movies, but when the planet got attacked she was an adult and an accomplished fairy who's also a nymph (which seems to be a higher rank than fairy, so I assume she had to study and train a lot to obtain it) but when she's back to life she seems young, but she's a professor and she gets married 💀 her age makes no sense at all. And I remember the amount of time after Domino's destruction to season 1 not making sense because Faragonda and Griffin were young women to 30 yo or 40 at max, but 16 years later they're old af 💀 but Bloom's parents stayed the same age (I guess because they were frozen?). I still love Domino's story and Bloom and Daphne's stories though, even if they're wacky.
I’ve got a lot of mixed feelings on Daphne, like I like the idea of her, but she just throws so many wrenches into the timeline. Plus, I hate how she loses her nymph costume and is relegated to sirenix. Her nymph costume made her look so mysterious and powerful, and when I was younger, I kind of assumed that becoming a nymph is like giving up being a fairy for a higher calling. Like maybe being a nymph is more about protecting the magical universe at large, and being a fairy is more about protecting and connecting with your own planet.
The 4Kids dub was just superior across the board!! The characters sounded like individuals. You could recognize them without needing to see them, just by the sound of their voices! And I loved Nabu! I was completely furious when they killed him off for NO REASON when the one they should have killed off was SKY!!! There are so many reasons why, but I just think they made a huge mistake there. 🧐
Mistakes were definitely made where Nabu was concerned, and I completely agree, The 4kids dub was amazing. 4kids really butchered a lot of shows, but I actually feel like they elevated the Winx club. I know a lot of people had very strong feelings about the dub they grew up with, but the fact that all of the girls could be talking, and you could know who was saying what was such a big thing for me.
Here's my reboot ideas. First of all, male fairies and female specialists. 3 of the cast of 7 are boys. Cast- Bloom- prince of Sparks/Domino and fairy of the dragon flame. Stella- princess of Solaria and fairy of Sun and moon Flora-Fairy of Nature and is female. Layla- Called Leo,prince of Andros and fairy of water. Musa- boy and fairy of Music. Tecna- boy called Tecno and fairy of Tecnology. Roxy- fairy of Animals and female. Enemies. Trix Wizards of the black circle. Valtor Ancestral witches Darkar
Hey, I get that you’ve got some strong opinions about the Winx club and that’s perfectly fine I love to see it. But I don’t think there’s a need to be so affected about somebody’s head cannon for an imaginary reboot. Gardenia's in California, most likely near San Francisco or San Diego because of the port. On the topic of missing characters, where are Klaus and Morgana? All the time they spend in the Fruity Music Bar and they don't even mention them. Klaus is the flipping owner, and Morgana is an elder terrestrial fairy. She might know something about Neverland and everything that's going on. They're wondering what that golden dust is, and they never bring it to her to ask if she might have seen something like it in the possibility hundreds of years she's been alive.
The fact that the show just doesn’t care about any of the previous Winx club lore is just awful. They wanted to capitalize on the Winx club name without putting any real work into writing or developing the show or why they’re there.
@@bubblingmoon Exactly! They cut the bunny! Now, some might say that Kiko most likely passed away because bunnies only live for eight years, but he has magic. He was able to pass through the magic barrier around Alfea and could sprout wings at the end of season 2, and Artu is only about a year younger than Roxy (shown by him being in a picture when Roxy couldn't have been older than two) and is still alive despite blood hounds only having a life expectancy of about twelve years. My head cannon says that they are Bloom and Roxy's respective familiars, and thus, will live as long as their respective fairy can supply them with magic, i.e the rest of their long, fairy lives. NO ONE CUTS THE BUNNY!!!
The first time I saw season seven I legit thought that that Kiko was a fairy animal, and that would be like a major twist or something… same with Roxy and Artu because like you said, only magical creatures can get past the barrier. They never really address the fact that Kiko seems to be low-key magical. This show treats animal sidekicks, almost as disrespectfully as they treat Musa Techna and Roxy.
i loved WOW. However, one of the few things I hated was is Tinkerbell's redemption. It not only felt last minute but until Matt showed up with his "she cant be evil because she's too beautiful." Thing, she did not show any remorse for for her actions. Not to mention Matt is Peter's son. That in itself is a can of worms that should not have been touched. In my opinion i would rather have her still be the main villain and Jim be an albeit chaotic Neutral/morally gray ally to the Winx. Cause it be something different. And it adds nuance as the morality of the Winx characters is very black and white.
Oh my God, the part where Matt who is talking about how Tinker Bell couldn’t be evil because she was pretty is so wild to me. I thought we as a society had already gotten over the idea that because somebody’s pretty they must also be a good person as well.
I wholeheartedly agree, we’ve got enough romantic subplots. I’d love to see her just clearly being the youngest member of the group Messing up occasionally taking directions from the others. Been wanting these character interactions since she was introduced

Honestly, in a lot of ways I liked WOW better than other seasons in many ways and I was disappointed it didn't continue. I know I'm an outlier here. The older seasons were filled with ridiculous relationship drama (which annoyed my aromantic soul). It was refreshing to see a show that didn't center romance with older characters. Of course, the lightning stuff was really cringe for me. But the music and storyline was pretty good.
My problem with WoW is that this crappy spinoff made Aisha, the Winx I never had anything against, unlikable and while I know Rainbow wanted to make her "fearless" this was just meh, plus the whitewashing and the whole Totally Spies-like thingy in which I don't see Winx in it also if it's a spinoff then why does it reuse instrumental songs from seasons 5-7?! IMO World Of Winx is even worse than those "rewrites"

I still prefer the Nickelodeon Winx Club series over the spinoff series of World of Winx because while the first season of the story is alright but the second season is a complete mess up. Because in Winx Club Season 4 the Winx back magic to Earth and people are now aware of faires but in this Spin-off "World of Winx" it's like if Season 4 never happened . Except the difference between Winx Club Season 4 and the Spin-off "World of Winx" is that Roxy already aware that she's a fairy herself and she knows Bloom, Stella, Musa, Flora, Aisha and Tecna. But I tell what doesn't make sense about the entire "World of Winx" Then in Season 2 the Winx were originally supposed to find Peter Pan in order to save the world of dreams (Neverland) from the Queen 👑(Tinkerbell). But after meeting his son Mack and training him to help them save the world of dream they completely forget about Peter Pan who to be honest never made his appearance in the series at all which doesn't make sense or why. What else doesn't make sense is why the writers and producers leave World of Winx second season as cliffhanger even though they have no intention to continue. Which is why it cause me to disliked spin-off the World of Winx series in the first place. If I was the writer of World of Winx I would fix the end of Season 2 finale, leaving with just the song at the end of the episode and that would be it.
TBH, too many of these complaints were muddied by this being a separate continuity spin-off. Heard season nine will be a reboot. Sidenote: Has the UoW made a WoWinx review?
Bloom x Diaspro would be so cute, I am a fan of a show called ''the owl house'' and the female main character falls in love with her rival, so having another lesbian enemies to lovers would be awesome!
OMG I absolutely love the owl house! That show is my standard not just for LGBTQ+ representation, but also just for a healthy, age-appropriate romance as well.

I was thinking that Diaspro could also attend Alfea and as soon as she meets Bloom there’s some kind of mishap that snowballs out of control. like maybe on Blooms first day she’s having trouble finding her way to class, she’s already running late and she’s just running through the hallways only looking at the room numbers and accidentally plows into Diaspro, who is just standing in the middle of the hall fixing her make up. now diaspro has her favorite lip gloss covering her outfit. Bloom is extremely apologetic right away but Diaspro feeling flustered and embarrassed now that she’s completely covered in her favorite lip gloss (And this cute redhead is staring at her) tells Bloom that she “will never forget this”. And that would set the stage for a full season of funny awkward misunderstandings between the two. until close to the end of the season where bloom is freaking out because she borrowed a dress from Stella and accidentally got some oily kind of stain on it (may be from lip gloss). Diaspro ,trying to take a second to show how superior she is to bloom, uses the spell she learned to get the lip gloss out of her own outfit at the beginning of the year, but this doesn’t make Bloom feel inferior, it only impresses her. She gives Diaspro a big hug and a kiss on the cheek and leaves to find the other winx girls. Leaving a very red diaspro staring after her, setting up them getting closer in season two. Edit: I am also into the idea of Diaspro being a specialist at red fountain but we would need a new inciting incident for them to meet. Also diaspro and Stella Ruffle each other’s feathers constantly even after bloom and Diaspro become an item.
Season 9 is quote on quote the reboot Of the seroes with ashia being in thw club from the beginning they also return to magic winx/charmix form Honestly i wish they started over with a new series like the reboot of monster high and went back to point 1 instead of continuing from season 9 Also i agree abt the Roxy part she really got wasted Ig seven isnt the perfect number for rainbow
Musa never tried to do anything for Riven , he always tried and fell short but she just expected everything and never made the effort for the relationship. Riven has his flaws but at least he tried which is more than Musa ever did.
Respectfully I disagree, I would argue that musa reached out to him plenty of times, and there have even been times when riven reached out it it just seems like the script writers never wanted it to work out so it didn’t. I just want them both to end up with new people it’s been going on way too long for the relationship to be healthy even if they start treating each other well.

Reaching out to someone in order to get them to do something for you is not the same as you reaching out to them because you want to support them or have a mutual relationship. Musa expected the relationship to go a certain way but she really only thought about herself. Riven tried to learn about music so he could connect with her but Musa didn't support his passions beyond defending him once to her father. We know about Musa's family because that's become her personality but we know nothing about Riven's family. Did Musa even care enough to ask? It's not Riven's lack of trying that was the problem in that relationship, it's Musa's selfishness and inability to communicate what she wanted from a relationship but still excpeting what she wanted to happen , leaving Riven to guess and repeatedly fail that's the problem. We can take the writing and reboots into account but I'm tired of people blaming Riven for everything and constantly making Musa the victim. The Winx had flaws and toxic traits that either get defended or excused instead of addressed.
You raise a good point about the Winx having some toxic personality traits that should be dealt with, and I completely agree I would love to see more growth for all of the characters in the show. But I feel like we won’t be able to see eye to eye on the riven situation, the most I can say is that if he ends up coming back in new seasons I hope the show runners devote more time to letting us know his thoughts and feelings. I just personally haven’t seen enough on screen evidence to justify all of his behavior. But I hope you didn’t take my opinion too seriously and that you’re having a good day!
@Will N websites are not cannon. The show didn't tell us why Riven acts the way he does and even then you clearly see him trying. When he first met the winx they were strangers and he doesn't owe them being super friendly or trusting them. The show had a lot of inconstancies but blaming eventing on Riven is ridiculous. The constant soft rebooting did kill a lot of character development for everyone but Riven did actually try in the relationship which people keep ignoring.
world of winx is in a different time line than from the main show because they wanted to create a show for an older audience and the show was canceled after a while to create winx saga

Lol that was my reaction the first time I tried to watch it a few years back. If you’re still looking to see the Winx club though I think most versions of the first three seasons can be found on RUclips. Also season four which isn’t as strong as the first three but there’s still some solid material in there. I recommend the 4kidz dub but that’s just me.

Yeah it was probably world of Winx then, the “we’re not allowed to use our powers😩” thing is like one minute in to episode one (also like everything else in the show they’re super inconsistent about not using them). It was produced by rainbow and nickelodeon and dumped onto Netflix. Netflix has never done anything good for the Winx club. The winx out of context videos are great and is probably is the best way of consuming the show overall lol
Winx club should have stopped at season 4. They should use Domino as main theme of last season an give characters who didn't have much screen more screen time and better writing. I don't agree with you that we should remove Sky and Helia, I think we should just give them better writing. But I do agree with you about Nabu and Riven, Nabu should be alive and married to Aisha, and Riven he was badly written character. And they did my Roxy dirty (justice for Roxy)
I've always hated Riven, even as a child. Musa was always my favorite fairy so obviously I very much disliked the way Riven interacted with her, and the way the show portrayed it as romantic. Or just anything but toxic. Honestly so glad to see that a whole lot of people agree because my god... I hate Riven. Musa deserves way better.
I haven't actually watched any season past 4. I've seen reviews and commentary videos of the later seasons and that's enough to know they're a waste of time. I heard some folks actually like WoW, but the weird alternate universe and whitewashing really turned me off. Even the white characters look washed out in that art style. It's so ugly compared to the original show. Omg, you're mind. I actually thought Stella and Brandon were really cute. They give off bi energy and they balance each other out. Though Stella and Bloom would be amazing, they are arguably the most fleshed out relationship in the entire show. Just so much to work with there. I've never thought of Bloom and Disaporo but I'm here for it, just idea is so messy and I'm here for it. Sky should've died instead of nabu cause he sucks 💁🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️😜. Nabu was hands down the best male character and the most useful besides Timmy. Flora if you love Helia girl, I love him too lol. I want to like him but he's so boring. I wish he could've been a fairy and another student at Alfea. And they spend all of season 1 pining and then get together in season 2, then maybe he might actually have personality traits. In my mind, Tecna is just such a badass lesbian (especially in 4kids, I love assertive she is and i miss her her androgny from the earlier seasons) but I do love her and Timmy. They're adorable. I know the real reason is cause we live in hell, but in-universe it never made sense to me that Winx club has no lgbt representation. The magical universe is so fruity and I love it. There's a blurb on Wikipedia about one of the art designers for the original showing being gay and it's just so weird it's not included in the original show. I have no expectations for the reboot but I would love - lgbt in the main cast and secondary characters - anyone of any gender can be a fairy, specialist, or witch - fuck earth, stay in the magical dimension please - if Roxy is included, I'd honestly rather her be a mentee to the winx like in season 4 and she gets her own group of friends. That way they can stay at alfea and winx can actually grow up and be adults. - the Trix actually being capable like in season 1, back stories for all of them, and more spells for them - Stella using magic from the moon and stars - clear definition of difference between witches and fairies and how you can become either - flora canonically using weed recreationally lmao
Yeah, I think wow was trying to do a more pastel version of the Winx club aesthetic but desaturating skin tones is never a good idea. And OMG I actually think that making helia a fairy would change the entire way I feel about him. if he was a fairy his relationship with Flora would be much cuter in my eyes. Him going to Alfea would open up a lot more storylines for Flora where that’s concerned as well like she could start a gardening club and he could join not because he’s interested in plants but just because he’s interested in her. I’m all for giving Flora more screen time and yes, if Timmy wasn’t the best specialist, I would say make Techna a lesbian 100%. And unfortunately, the show was produced in an era where things were becoming better as far as representation, but we still weren’t at acceptance yet, but I felt like there were little glimpses here and there I definitely felt like Mirta and Lucy were exes. BTW I love all of your ideas for a reboot.
I do respect your opinion too. However I watched it because I was curious as to why people didn't like it and I found myself disagreeing with most of it. As for me, I didn't love the show but I liked it for what it was, I think it's the best we got since season 4. Most of the complaints are about conitnuity and while you are 100% correct on the show not continuing the original series I see it as a reboot without the specialists, the pixies and most of the lore (dragon flame, Stella in Solaria, etc). But I still liked it. The transformations are enough, I don't see why they should add more especially since each season is really short. And the songs are fire. We also finally have some real character developpement (that we don't get since season 5). And while I find the WoW TV show they are in annoying, I liked how they met all the talented people. And again, just my opinion but I liked the designs and the Winx aging up because finally they let them actually grow. I also cared about the characters because they were engaging and had some real conflict. You also mentionned some other stuffs so I am going to get there really quickly. Helia is too underrated. Yes he doesn't have much screentime but he should. Under his soft side is a tactical warrior who has one of the best relationships with Flora to the point when the showrunners create drama between those two it feels forced (except in season 8, it was understanble and teach us to not interfere with your friend's problems). Don't get me wrong, I agree with the rest like the show being on Earth even though we just want to see more of the magical universe. Sky and Riven are the worst, Nabu's death should be replaced by Sky's and Diaspro and Bloom should definitely be a couple (but Diaspro needs some serious character developpement before hand).
I see what you’re saying about the show existing in a different continuity. I would’ve just liked for them to have reestablished the characters, how they know each other, how they’re connected to the plot, etc. season one episode one it kind of like being dropped into a season in progress. I’m willing to accept almost anything in a fantasy animated series but I found the lack of stage setting very offputting. Stella even makes reference to how bloom came up with the Winx club name, and they didn’t give me anything else to go on, so I just projected the old backgrounds of the characters onto what I was seeing. And I don’t dislike Helia at all, I just feel like he’s so under utilized. The reason I think he’s boring is because he just doesn’t do anything. If the writers would just make proper use of all of the characters that they had I feel like I’d look on the specialists as a whole more kindly. But that kind of stuff is just my opinion I know a lot of my complaints sound nitpicky but being overly critical is kind of how I enjoy shows. And yes you are right, all the character development for Diaspro!
@@bubblingmoon I understand you better. I find it a shame too that they didn't explain it further because I would love to learn more about these other characters' lives. In my comment I also forgot one big subject : Roxy. Yes this girl is too often forgotten by the showrunners, she deserves much better. However I don't agree with the Unicorn of war (I don't know your opinion on this so for now it's just about what they say) but as much as I love her I don't think she should join the Winx at the end of season 4. Aisha could at the beginning of season 2 because she is very skilled at magic and got introduced very early in the season. She is also entering very smoothly into the group. And I don't feel they worked that well with Roxy in season 4. I love season 4 but during the whole season they make it very clear that she is not part of the group. She doesn't even have Believix wings (and alledgedly Believix at all). At the end of season 4 she is nowhere near as strong as the Winx and not only from season 4 also from season 1, she only knows basic spells and it's normal for someone who just learned how to use magic and who didn't go to Alphea unlike Bloom in season 1. Season 5 could have salvage that but the writers deciding to keep the status quo ended almost completely the possibility. Season 7 could have salvage it too but of course they didn't (Roxy should have definitely earn her Enchantix in season 7 or at least Butterflix). She is also not the only fairy they forgot, there is also Mirta that holds a place in my heart. Anyways, I understand why you don't like the series. Maybe I am too nice towards it because it's the best they managed for a long time.
@Le Moineau you make a lot of sense about Roxy, as it stands she really can’t measure up to the rest of the girls power wise I wish she could’ve been better handled after season 4 because I would’ve loved to see her join the main club. But now in the main show it just makes no sense for her to be too involved in the main conflict. I would love it though in future seasons, if they never end up doing a proper reboot, mirta and Roxy to become friends and we follow a B-plot through the season of what they’re up to. But my dream is for them to just start the timeline over and introduce Roxy sooner and she and Mirta can have a bigger part in the show even if they aren’t actual Winx club members. I’m not getting my hopes up too high for any of the new Winx club stuff though, I would love to be wrong about it though. I am worried they’ll never be able to do this show proper justice. I’m glad you watched my video even though you didn’t agree with the main premise, 😊 you’ve got some great opinions on the Winx club!
Flora was definitely more powerful in WoW which I would appreciate if it happened to Tecna and Aisha and even Musa since they are my favorites but no. I just felt that they focused a little too much on Flora’s power and not on the Aisha, Tecnas. I actually really enjoy the fact the Aisha uses more hydrokinesis I think she also really got an upgrade but her uniqueness in personality has kind of faded. The way they she defeated her nemesis, I would really want more from her. Tecna, she didn’t really do anything but used a sword to defeat her nemesis and clearly Tecna isn’t the fairy of Technology in this, she is the fairy of computers and shields even when they asked her if she can fix the watch thing but that is actually considered technology and that does limit her. She could also do industrial technology and maybe she could shut down the queen’s house or something the show her more powerful. I don’t think Musa was limited in fact she got stronger which I like she is now the fairy of Sound!!! I actually like how Stella can see the past with light and I like how Bloom was downgraded since Winx club kept shoving her power in my face. Yes Tecna is my second favorite Character and Aisha is first. I just want Tecna to shine more.

They’ll give the witches a better name. Darkar should be more intimidating, and for the love of god I want evil professor Avalon more. (Only they cant tell farragonda or griselda he’s evil bcs they won’t believe them) He had so much more potential, I mean he was the only one that understood Darkar would dispose of anyone he didn’t need anymore. More dark bloom aswell. Oh and Musa deserved to actually try to date that random boy. More conflict between darkar and the trix aswell. And more looking into other worlds bcs that was fun. Season 4…… slice of life could be better. Roxy is an addition but would be useless with just her magic winx. And the winx would help her getting stronger faster with as end goal for roxy enchantix at the end of the season. I mean she helped save her home world. Instead of students the winx should either be teachers or go back to Alfea to ask Faragonda for help on the Tritanus thing (or just… open the fairy book?) Also what does being a guardian fairy mean? Shouldn’t we have drama for that? Andros needs Aisha as guardian fsiry but she wants to stay with the winx to sort this out instead creating drama in her kingdom? Same for the other girls when the pillars are attacked. Make Diaspro evil. HOW can she be at the palace while she tried to poison Sky? Make her an actual evil mastermind. Make Aisha be sad abt Nabu for longer.. please.. make Roy her best friend instead of a love interest. Less generic energy beams. And more princess duties please! Season 6. Mythix should be based on actual fairytales costume wise. And the cgi just.. no leave it out. Don’t change the pixies from s2. I hate the newer ones, i hate s6 pixies in general. Have fresh legendary stories for the different worlds and a physical way for the winx and anyone else to know how long they can be stuck there. (Colour changing jewelry hello?? Marketing??) Make Selene vs Bloom an ACTUAL problem and dont you DARE nerf Nebula. Make the schools involved more and give the trix a bounty so we won’t forget what they did in the past. Again Lex should have been left out and Thorren could have been a lot better. S7 has LOTS of issues. It should have been roxy’s season. She should’ve gotten butterflix and tinix. Kelshara should be way more powerful and explain why she catches the fairy animals. And she should be waaaaay better at engaging with the winx. How did she become a villain? Even though it aired on Netflix it was written and produced by rainbow and Nickelodeon. I probably would’ve like to see it if they set it up properly but rainbow got lazy again and changed the continuity without really telling anybody. This is just my personal opinion but I’ll take princesses over spy any day

Honestly in a school setting it makes so much sense to have a cast rotating out every 3 to 4 seasons. It would be great to see a new cast of fairies learning and growing and then graduating from Alfea. We could even have the old winks members come back to help deal with extremely difficult enemies! Though at a certain point it might resemble precure then the winx.
I feel like season 4, though far from perfect, brings a bit more to the table than world of Winx. But I do rank it higher than seasons 5-8 simply because the specialists aren’t there. Fate the Winx saga and pop pixie are so low on the list they’re buried at the center of the earth

I completely understand your points, but 90% of them are about continuity and being a Winx related series but... This is not a Winx season, this is not something meant to be continuing something. World of Winx is a SPIN-OFF that have it's own timeline and continuity. That's why it doesn't make sense with things from previous seasons, because they are actually 2 completely different things. You have to watch WoW having in mind that it's its own series, not Winx, it's just have the same 6/7 protagonist as Winx, nothing more.
Then they should have done a better job at establishing these characters and setting as something new. They didn’t tell us anything new about these characters, how they know each other, or even how they were connected to the plot. I understand if you really like the show there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, but I still feel like all of my complaints were valid because they didn’t explain anything.

Listen I would also love of they gave us some more backstory and stuff, but the series is very straight forward. They just mention the changes they made without explaining them (again because they don't have to, this is a NEW series, not Winx club) and just move along with the plot. Idk I get where you are coming from but considering this is not Winx club, and is not supposed to be related to it besides the fact they share 7 characters, I don't think is a proper criticism. They are not even in the same universe or timeline...

@Aukusuke I guess there’s just a fundamental difference in what we look for in shows. I maintain that if it’s a new continuity they should’ve set it up properly. If they share 7 characters and nothing else then they need to reestablish what’s going on instead of just dropping us into the middle of their hunt for the talent thief. And certainly they’re not under any obligation to put anything in the show. I think it would’ve just been a better show and much more enjoyable had they done it. I would argue that the experience is more like walking into the second Iron Man movie 30 minutes late. but again that’s just my opinion, hope you didn’t take it too seriously.

Tbh, I actually couldn’t stand WoW because of how sloppy the story was. I don’t even get why Roxy was in it if she only appeared for a few episodes but once again was banned from transforming. Plus the police characters literally don’t do ANYTHING after figuring out Bloom’s a fairy. I actually somewhat enjoyed the second season more because it felt more solid, especially their Nemesis forcing them to confront their inner demons. Sadly it still is ruined by how poorly written the story of using Peter Pan is used. Peter himself doesn’t even appear in the entire story, only Wendy Darling and her mentioning he apparently dumped his son on her. I’d like a little backstory please. Like the only redeeming part was Venomia actually being an ancient witch who clearly hates fairies and how the Winx will take care of Earthlings discovering magic and fairies are real.

I like the idea of keeping Tinker Bell but she should get a redesign and for goodness sake don’t let Peter Pan’s son enter the picture at all! And they could totally make the show angle work if they got rid of the visions, and made it so that the show was their method for finding people who are so talented they might have magic. like potentially fairies, witches or paladins.
Oh and Tinker Bell could be like trying to recruit them through the show because Ace is her right hand man and we might as well make him Captain Hook, because I don’t like the Captain Hook that’s in the show.
And Roxy good be like stressed out because she’s basically the de facto leader of the earth chapter of the Winx and there could be a little drama with that and maybe a cameo of the original Winx cast.

Ace could be actually the Shaman. Or have some of them just to give Tinker Bell a backstory and explain how she became that way (Like Peter, Wendy, Hook or Tiger Lilly). And of course, keep the mermaids and the Crocodile Man.

Thank you for the compliment on the picture! I referenced everybody’s skin tone from their first appearances in the main series. I may revisit the world of Winx sometime in the future because there’s A couple more things that bugged me about the show, white washing included. I just don’t have the best equipment right now so I can’t make an hour long video. Somebody should’ve told the art Director that just because they were trying to soften the color palette didn’t mean they should lighten skin tones 😩
Also, Mirta should be a recurring character as well as remaining a Witch instead of becoming a Fairy. Outside of Griffin, Witches don't seem to get a good rep in the series (with most of it being the Trix who give Witches a bad name). Yeah, they use Dark Magic but they aren't inherently evil.
Yes I would love that! The line between fairy and which never seemed that well defined to me. when I was a kid I thought that it was just what kind of magic you were more attuned to. Like if you have a real affinity for fairy magic you can choose to be a witch but you wouldn’t be quite as strong as other witches. I always thought that most witches would be like a neutral alignment, “I live in the magical universe so of course I’d protect it.” that kind of thing.

I grew up with both the nick and 4kids version of wink and i absolutely love both. The world of winx just never excited me. It’s almost like they took the same characters and created a whole different backstory for each fairy and that annoyed my inner child. Everything ab it made me angry, like a lot more angry than I should be for a kids show 😭

i liked the world of winx only because of their powers. i feel like they are way stronger in world of winx, actually summoning their elements. like aisha is able to make a giant water fist using the lake or any body of water near her. she can also just make the whole room drown. flora's powers is the same from the winx club show, she just grows giant roots. but stella in world of winx has control over light. i like that instead of stella using her magic spells that comes with the transformation, she just uses any light source. i just feel like in world of winx, their powers actually makes sense. i do wish for a better transformation outfit and another thing that made me interested into world of winx is the fact that they connected winx club universe with tinkerbell universe. i never expected to hear the name tinkerbell or peter pan in a winx show. but I'm so glad that I am not the only one that noticed when stella was having flashbacks because of her nemesis, that stella's bullies looked like people from earth. i was also wondering that since stella is royalty, they shouldn't bully a royal. why are they bullying a princess.
Their powers were cooler in wow I just wasn’t a fan of how it seemed like they were rediscovering them. That’s probably because it was a alternate timeline but I think they could’ve done a better job at setting that up. Stellas light magic was really nice and I also like how bloom wasn’t just the most powerful one by default. I did miss the dragon flame, though, not gonna lie. Hearing Tinker Bell‘s name literally sent me over the edge the first time I was watching the show. I was so excited to see what they would do with Neverland and I think that’s part of the reason why I was so disappointed with how small it felt in wow.

I digress as the girls finally got some good screen time! They serve almost no purpose in the story practically. And they were already getting annoying in the original series, like in season 4 while the winx celebrated being on tv, they literally make fun of them... And their friendship is perfect without boys to get in the way of their amazing moments together.
Maybe Bloom gave up the Dragon Flame? Since Daphne is crown princess to Domino’s throne, the Dragon Flame might have gone back to her or her child. If Bloom marries Sky, she would become the queen of Eraklyon. I thought the Dragon Flame stayed with the ruling family of Domino. I don’t know. 🤷♀️

Exactly! if it’s a continuation of the main series it’s a failure because it doesn’t have any continuity, and if it’s a spin off they completely failed to set anything up and they completely rely on you having seen the original show. A couple people in the comments mentioned that it was always intended to be a spinoff but if that’s the case they need to tell us at the very least how the Winx know each other and how they know their fairies! Stella even mentions how bloom came up with the name Winx! you can’t just directly reference the main series and expect me not to care!

I actually hate how they ruined Aisha character in this. They made her rude and immature, a cliché of the sporty impatient girl when in the original show she was sweet, caring and had a great knowledge of her environment and was smart too, with a backbone. Yeah, I guess her personality did take a huge downgrade in wow. On top of being rude and impatient she was also just kind of bland. Remember when she wasn’t just the sports one and dancing and being free was a huge part of her character. However, when she bullies Loralei, it gives me life.

Tbh I rlly dont mind WoW bc I think it's set in a different universe/timeline or smth. Sure, they did mess up with some stuff (#roxydeservesbetter) but overall it was cool (and maybe take Bloom off the stage for Musa to sing? for once?). It felt different, they didn't need to use spells to use magic and they didn't need to say "Magic winx bla bla bla) anymore. The specialists are finally gone, and I like how they adjusted the powers to more non-bias stuff. Bloom doesn't have the "almighty dragon flame that makes her better than everyone else" and they all had good character development. I don't like that they made a kid smarter than Tecna though. As for Aisha's morphix stuff, I've always found it ridiculous that she's the fairy of waves and yet she needs some weird purple liquid to use her powers (although I think she used a water-based spell in her Bloomix transformation) and Onyrix also brought out the Moon part of Stella! And my girl Musa rocked this show. The hairs seem large mainly cuz the lines aren't visible enough. I wish they brought back characters like Evans and Gomez in the 2nd season cuz they seemed interesting, the way the girls treated Lorelei definitely made me laugh lol, overall it was pretty good. Wish it would be renewed for a new season since Fate is cancelled.
It’s been made clear that after Nickelodeon took the wheel, writers have absolutely no idea what they’re doing with the franchise at all. The storylines are all over the place, things are either left out or too much is being put in. Makes me glad that there’s a reboot coming out.

I wanted to like World of Winx because I have loved Winx Club since I was a little girl, but it just didn't feel like Winx Club at all. It felt like a completely different series or something from a really bad AU fanfiction. The transformations were really pretty, though, but I agree that the poses were super awkward and too supermodel-like and the huge hair was weird. Whoever created World of Winx has obviously never watched or tried to pay attention to the original series. Flora was awesome in World of Winx.

Absolutely, it might take me a little bit to get to it because I am working on another animal crossing tarot card video at the moment (and I’m not super fast at making videos yet) but after that I’d love to talk about W.I.T.C.H. Honestly in the day and age of making gritty remakes of old shows I’m surprised no one‘s done it yet it was already kind of a dark gritty fantasy it wouldn’t take much work at all to revamp the idea for a new run.
Dude you drew that! That looks wonderful! You should just make a fan comic of Stella and blooms growing relationship if you want some ideas I can give you some. But fan comic aside let me tell you the original setup they had for the Pixies in season 2 & season 3 and and how they changed season 4 Believix. In season 2 when the winxs were supposed to cast spells the Pixies was supposed to up the power along with their charmx but we never got that. In season 3 during Enchantix the Pixies were to give out pixie dust so the fairies can convert it into fairy dust but for some reason the plot got changed the Pixies were supposed to be useful but the writers decided not to use them. Now in season 4 when the warlocks were looking for Roxy they decided to create monsters using a random child's fear and the monster was feeding off of that child's fear and near that child would be the random Fairy of the day and that fairy would get that child to believe in them and they would wind up getting their Believix. And last but not least Bloom would transform when she gets Roxie to believe in her It was supposed to be similar to season 3 with of them transforming separately but for some reason they didn't want to repeat season 3 and just have Roxy believe in them and have a giant group transformation. Now I heard this information years ago so I don't know how much of this is true is but If you ask me they should have kept the original plans for season 4 because that sounds badass.
You saved me the trouble of watching this spinoff lmao. I agree that the frist episode throws us into things way too quickly and we don't know the context at all, but it was the only episode I watched. I hated the cringe 2010s aesthetic and vibes so I couldn't watch it at all. I prefer the wholesome cringe of the 2000s aesthetic of seasons 1-4. I also agree on the specialists being boring and useless 💀 only good thing about them is the song introducing them in winx power show, it's fire. But the romance and relationships are so cheesy ajd unrealistic, except Nabu and Aisha/Layla, and maybe Stella and Brandon. Sky and Bloom's relationship is built on a lie and sky wanting to cheat on his literal fiancée, Flora and Helia are only dating so Flora won't be the only single winx girl, timmy and tecna's whole shtick is that they're both nerds so they MUST love each other 💀. And ofcourse Musa and Riven are cringe af and toxic but we all agree on that, I hope. Roxy indeed deserves better and I love her a lot, she's a sweet and innocent and kindhearted child and I love her sister like bond with Bloom.
One thing I disagree with though is the earth stuff being boring, maybe in wow, but in season four I kinda enjoyed it. I'm not western and I never got to experience stuff like that growing up (I'm 20 now), never had a group of friends or was allowed to hang out in a nice place where we can eat and drink and watch local bands play, we don't have that where I come from, so I really enjoyed seeing that in season 4. Idk if people actually experience or live like that in the west but it doesn't seem far fetched to me. I yearn for what the winx club girls have tbh, being in a band and having a hanging out spot and having a huge close group of friends like that and even having a boyfriend or girlfriend to hang out with there. So all of that combined made me appreciate season 4 despite its weird timeline issues with the earth fairies and wizards of the dark circle (who are my favorite villains because of their brotherly bond), they existed in the medieval ages but Queen Morgana somehow got to get married and have a child in the modern age 🤨🤨🤨 and THEN got captured, and the wizards disappeared and appeared later after CENTURIES and so she was imprisoned for CENTURIES but she has a 16 yo daughter 🗿
But I still enjoyed the earth fairies and the difference types of them and roles and fights were cool af. My favorite in the series and the most engaging. But believix fashion is pure early 2010s cringe 🗿 the music is cool though and I like the winx band, but I agree that Musa should be the lead singer. Idk if you know this or not but there's the Winx in concert album where each song is about one of the girls and her parents or bf or dreams and aspirations etc. and some songs are about the group as a whole and I assume each song about a certain girl is supposedly sang by that girl. I sogni modo miei is about Aisha/Layla, and vita da star is about Stella and her friendship with bloom, and La tua musica e la mia is about Musa and her mom and so on. Pretty neat concept imo and probably a way to market the winx club band but idk.

Even though it’s not my favorite and has some timeline issues season four is really great and still brings a lot to the table, though I could do without believix (it just looks like weird exercise clothes to me💀 I can’t lol) I just wish that they could have some of those fun times on the other girls home planets every now and then. I’d love to see what a music café and melody would look like, or maybe they could go camping on Linphea or to a Beachside resort on Tides. And if there’s one thing about the Winx club I would absolutely change if I could Is the timeline issues. I always thought a good mix for the Winx club band would be Musa lead singer and guitar, Flora on base, Techna on keyboard, and Aisha/Layla on drums. Stella could be the stylist of the band and design their sets, and bloom Could be the manager making sure they’re not getting into bad contracts or being taken advantage of by venue owners. @Bubbling Moon late reply, but I agree it would've been great to see the girls hangout on other planets than earth. We almost got them hanging out on Solaria in season 3, and I think in the newer seasons they go to lynphea, zenith, and melody but idk for how long or if they had fun there. Also I recently realized the timeline issues of Daphne's story and Domino's destruction in general. It was destroyed 16 years before season 1, but Daphne was a kid when bloom was born according to the movies, but when the planet got attacked she was an adult and an accomplished fairy who's also a nymph (which seems to be a higher rank than fairy, so I assume she had to study and train a lot to obtain it) but when she's back to life she seems young, but she's a professor and she gets married 💀 her age makes no sense at all. And I remember the amount of time after Domino's destruction to season 1 not making sense because Faragonda and Griffin were young women to 30 yo or 40 at max, but 16 years later they're old af 💀 but Bloom's parents stayed the same age (I guess because they were frozen?). I still love Domino's story and Bloom and Daphne's stories though, even if they're wacky.
I’ve got a lot of mixed feelings on Daphne, like I like the idea of her, but she just throws so many wrenches into the timeline. Plus, I hate how she loses her nymph costume and is relegated to sirenix. Her nymph costume made her look so mysterious and powerful, and when I was younger, I kind of assumed that becoming a nymph is like giving up being a fairy for a higher calling. Like maybe being a nymph is more about protecting the magical universe at large, and being a fairy is more about protecting and connecting with your own planet.
The 4Kids dub was just superior across the board!! The characters sounded like individuals. You could recognize them without needing to see them, just by the sound of their voices! And I loved Nabu! I was completely furious when they killed him off for NO REASON when the one they should have killed off was SKY!!! There are so many reasons why, but I just think they made a huge mistake there. 🧐
Mistakes were definitely made where Nabu was concerned, and I completely agree, The 4kids dub was amazing. 4kids really butchered a lot of shows, but I actually feel like they elevated the Winx club. I know a lot of people had very strong feelings about the dub they grew up with, but the fact that all of the girls could be talking, and you could know who was saying what was such a big thing for me.

On the topic of missing characters, where are Klaus and Morgana? All the time they spend in the Fruity Music Bar and they don't even mention them. Klaus is the flipping owner, and Morgana is an elder terrestrial fairy. She might know something about Neverland and everything that's going on. They're wondering what that golden dust is, and they never bring it to her to ask if she might have seen something like it in the possibility hundreds of years she's been alive.
The fact that the show just doesn’t care about any of the previous Winx club lore is just awful. They wanted to capitalize on the Winx club name without putting any real work into writing or developing the show or why they’re there.
@@bubblingmoon Exactly! They cut the bunny! Now, some might say that Kiko most likely passed away because bunnies only live for eight years, but he has magic. He was able to pass through the magic barrier around Alfea and could sprout wings at the end of season 2, and Artu is only about a year younger than Roxy (shown by him being in a picture when Roxy couldn't have been older than two) and is still alive despite blood hounds only having a life expectancy of about twelve years. My head cannon says that they are Bloom and Roxy's respective familiars, and thus, will live as long as their respective fairy can supply them with magic, i.e the rest of their long, fairy lives.

The first time I saw season seven I legit thought that that Kiko was a fairy animal, and that would be like a major twist or something… same with Roxy and Artu because like you said, only magical creatures can get past the barrier. They never really address the fact that Kiko seems to be low-key magical. This show treats animal sidekicks, almost as disrespectfully as they treat Musa Techna and Roxy.

i loved WOW. However, one of the few things I hated was is Tinkerbell's redemption. It not only felt last minute but until Matt showed up with his "she cant be evil because she's too beautiful." Thing, she did not show any remorse for for her actions. Not to mention Matt is Peter's son. That in itself is a can of worms that should not have been touched.
In my opinion i would rather have her still be the main villain and Jim be an albeit chaotic Neutral/morally gray ally to the Winx. Cause it be something different. And it adds nuance as the morality of the Winx characters is very black and white.
Oh my God, the part where Matt who is talking about how Tinker Bell couldn’t be evil because she was pretty is so wild to me. I thought we as a society had already gotten over the idea that because somebody’s pretty they must also be a good person as well.

Honestly, in a lot of ways I liked WOW better than other seasons in many ways and I was disappointed it didn't continue. I know I'm an outlier here. The older seasons were filled with ridiculous relationship drama (which annoyed my aromantic soul). It was refreshing to see a show that didn't center romance with older characters. Of course, the lightning stuff was really cringe for me. But the music and storyline was pretty good.
My problem with WoW is that this crappy spinoff made Aisha, the Winx I never had anything against, unlikable and while I know Rainbow wanted to make her "fearless" this was just meh, plus the whitewashing and the whole Totally Spies-like thingy in which I don't see Winx in it also if it's a spinoff then why does it reuse instrumental songs from seasons 5-7?! IMO World Of Winx is even worse than those "rewrites"

I still prefer the Nickelodeon Winx Club series over the spinoff series of World of Winx because while the first season of the story is alright but the second season is a complete mess up.
Because in Winx Club Season 4 the Winx back magic to Earth and people are now aware of faires but in this Spin-off "World of Winx" it's like if Season 4 never happened . Except the difference between Winx Club Season 4 and the Spin-off "World of Winx" is that Roxy already aware that she's a fairy herself and she knows Bloom, Stella, Musa, Flora, Aisha and Tecna.
But I tell what doesn't make sense about the entire "World of Winx"
Then in Season 2 the Winx were originally supposed to find Peter Pan in order to save the world of dreams (Neverland) from the Queen 👑(Tinkerbell). But after meeting his son Mack and training him to help them save the world of dream they completely forget about Peter Pan who to be honest never made his appearance in the series at all which doesn't make sense or why.
What else doesn't make sense is why the writers and producers leave World of Winx second season as cliffhanger even though they have no intention to continue. Which is why it cause me to disliked spin-off the World of Winx series in the first place. If I was the writer of World of Winx I would fix the end of Season 2 finale, leaving with just the song at the end of the episode and that would be it.
TBH, too many of these complaints were muddied by this being a separate continuity spin-off.

Bloom x Diaspro would be so cute, I am a fan of a show called ''the owl house'' and the female main character falls in love with her rival, so having another lesbian enemies to lovers would be awesome!
OMG I absolutely love the owl house! That show is my standard not just for LGBTQ+ representation, but also just for a healthy, age-appropriate romance as well.

I was thinking that Diaspro could also attend Alfea and as soon as she meets Bloom there’s some kind of mishap that snowballs out of control. like maybe on Blooms first day she’s having trouble finding her way to class, she’s already running late and she’s just running through the hallways only looking at the room numbers and accidentally plows into Diaspro, who is just standing in the middle of the hall fixing her make up. now diaspro has her favorite lip gloss covering her outfit. Bloom is extremely apologetic right away but Diaspro feeling flustered and embarrassed now that she’s completely covered in her favorite lip gloss (And this cute redhead is staring at her) tells Bloom that she “will never forget this”. And that would set the stage for a full season of funny awkward misunderstandings between the two. until close to the end of the season where bloom is freaking out because she borrowed a dress from Stella and accidentally got some oily kind of stain on it (may be from lip gloss). Diaspro ,trying to take a second to show how superior she is to bloom, uses the spell she learned to get the lip gloss out of her own outfit at the beginning of the year, but this doesn’t make Bloom feel inferior, it only impresses her. She gives Diaspro a big hug and a kiss on the cheek and leaves to find the other winx girls. Leaving a very red diaspro staring after her, setting up them getting closer in season two.
Edit: I am also into the idea of Diaspro being a specialist at red fountain but we would need a new inciting incident for them to meet. Also diaspro and Stella Ruffle each other’s feathers constantly even after bloom and Diaspro become an item.
Season 9 is quote on quote the reboot Of the seroes with ashia being in thw club from the beginning they also return to magic winx/charmix form
Honestly i wish they started over with a new series like the reboot of monster high and went back to point 1 instead of continuing from season 9

Musa never tried to do anything for Riven , he always tried and fell short but she just expected everything and never made the effort for the relationship. Riven has his flaws but at least he tried which is more than Musa ever did.
Respectfully I disagree, I would argue that musa reached out to him plenty of times, and there have even been times when riven reached out it it just seems like the script writers never wanted it to work out so it didn’t. I just want them both to end up with new people it’s been going on way too long for the relationship to be healthy even if they start treating each other well.

Reaching out to someone in order to get them to do something for you is not the same as you reaching out to them because you want to support them or have a mutual relationship. Musa expected the relationship to go a certain way but she really only thought about herself. Riven tried to learn about music so he could connect with her but Musa didn't support his passions beyond defending him once to her father. We know about Musa's family because that's become her personality but we know nothing about Riven's family. Did Musa even care enough to ask? It's not Riven's lack of trying that was the problem in that relationship, it's Musa's selfishness and inability to communicate what she wanted from a relationship but still excpeting what she wanted to happen , leaving Riven to guess and repeatedly fail that's the problem. We can take the writing and reboots into account but I'm tired of people blaming Riven for everything and constantly making Musa the victim. The Winx had flaws and toxic traits that either get defended or excused instead of addressed.
You raise a good point about the Winx having some toxic personality traits that should be dealt with, and I completely agree I would love to see more growth for all of the characters in the show. But I feel like we won’t be able to see eye to eye on the riven situation, the most I can say is that if he ends up coming back in new seasons I hope the show runners devote more time to letting us know his thoughts and feelings. I just personally haven’t seen enough on screen evidence to justify all of his behavior. But I hope you didn’t take my opinion too seriously and that you’re having a good day!
@Will N websites are not cannon. The show didn't tell us why Riven acts the way he does and even then you clearly see him trying. When he first met the winx they were strangers and he doesn't owe them being super friendly or trusting them. The show had a lot of inconstancies but blaming eventing on Riven is ridiculous. The constant soft rebooting did kill a lot of character development for everyone but Riven did actually try in the relationship which people keep ignoring.
Also I liked Roxy to bad though also you should watch bloom stealing everyone’s screentime
world of winx is in a different time line than from the main show because they wanted to create a show for an older audience and the show was canceled after a while to create winx saga

Lol that was my reaction the first time I tried to watch it a few years back. If you’re still looking to see the Winx club though I think most versions of the first three seasons can be found on RUclips. Also season four which isn’t as strong as the first three but there’s still some solid material in there. I recommend the 4kidz dub but that’s just me.

It was produced by rainbow and nickelodeon and dumped onto Netflix. Netflix has never done anything good for the Winx club. Winx club should have stopped at season 4. They should use Domino as main theme of last season an give characters who didn't have much screen more screen time and better writing. I don't agree with you that we should remove Sky and Helia, I think we should just give them better writing. But I do agree with you about Nabu and Riven, Nabu should be alive and married to Aisha, and Riven he was badly written character. And they did my Roxy dirty (justice for Roxy)
I've always hated Riven, even as a child. Musa was always my favorite fairy so obviously I very much disliked the way Riven interacted with her, and the way the show portrayed it as romantic. Or just anything but toxic. Honestly so glad to see that a whole lot of people agree because my god... I hate Riven. Musa deserves way better.
I haven't actually watched any season past 4. I've seen reviews and commentary videos of the later seasons and that's enough to know they're a waste of time. I heard some folks actually like WoW, but the weird alternate universe and whitewashing really turned me off. Even the white characters look washed out in that art style. It's so ugly compared to the original show.
Omg, you're mind. I actually thought Stella and Brandon were really cute. They give off bi energy and they balance each other out. Though Stella and Bloom would be amazing, they are arguably the most fleshed out relationship in the entire show. Just so much to work with there. I've never thought of Bloom and Disaporo but I'm here for it, just idea is so messy and I'm here for it.
Sky should've died instead of nabu cause he sucks 💁🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️😜. Nabu was hands down the best male character and the most useful besides Timmy. Flora if you love Helia girl, I love him too lol. I want to like him but he's so boring. I wish he could've been a fairy and another student at Alfea. And they spend all of season 1 pining and then get together in season 2, then maybe he might actually have personality traits.
In my mind, Tecna is just such a badass lesbian (especially in 4kids, I love assertive she is and i miss her her androgny from the earlier seasons) but I do love her and Timmy. They're adorable.
I know the real reason is cause we live in hell, but in-universe it never made sense to me that Winx club has no lgbt representation. The magical universe is so fruity and I love it.

Yeah, I think wow was trying to do a more pastel version of the Winx club aesthetic but desaturating skin tones is never a good idea. And OMG I actually think that making helia a fairy would change the entire way I feel about him. if he was a fairy his relationship with Flora would be much cuter in my eyes. Him going to Alfea would open up a lot more storylines for Flora where that’s concerned as well like she could start a gardening club and he could join not because he’s interested in plants but just because he’s interested in her. I’m all for giving Flora more screen time and yes, if Timmy wasn’t the best specialist, I would say make Techna a lesbian 100%. And unfortunately, the show was produced in an era where things were becoming better as far as representation, but we still weren’t at acceptance yet, but I felt like there were little glimpses here and there I definitely felt like Mirta and Lucy were exes.

I do respect your opinion too. However I watched it because I was curious as to why people didn't like it and I found myself disagreeing with most of it. As for me, I didn't love the show but I liked it for what it was, I think it's the best we got since season 4.
Most of the complaints are about conitnuity and while you are 100% correct on the show not continuing the original series I see it as a reboot without the specialists, the pixies and most of the lore (dragon flame, Stella in Solaria, etc). But I still liked it. The transformations are enough, I don't see why they should add more especially since each season is really short. And the songs are fire. We also finally have some real character developpement (that we don't get since season 5). And while I find the WoW TV show they are in annoying, I liked how they met all the talented people. And again, just my opinion but I liked the designs and the Winx aging up because finally they let them actually grow. I also cared about the characters because they were engaging and had some real conflict.
You also mentionned some other stuffs so I am going to get there really quickly. Helia is too underrated. Yes he doesn't have much screentime but he should. Under his soft side is a tactical warrior who has one of the best relationships with Flora to the point when the showrunners create drama between those two it feels forced (except in season 8, it was understanble and teach us to not interfere with your friend's problems).
Don't get me wrong, I agree with the rest like the show being on Earth even though we just want to see more of the magical universe. Sky and Riven are the worst, Nabu's death should be replaced by Sky's and Diaspro and Bloom should definitely be a couple (but Diaspro needs some serious character developpement before hand).
I see what you’re saying about the show existing in a different continuity. I would’ve just liked for them to have reestablished the characters, how they know each other, how they’re connected to the plot, etc. season one episode one it kind of like being dropped into a season in progress. I’m willing to accept almost anything in a fantasy animated series but I found the lack of stage setting very offputting. Stella even makes reference to how bloom came up with the Winx club name, and they didn’t give me anything else to go on, so I just projected the old backgrounds of the characters onto what I was seeing.
And I don’t dislike Helia at all, I just feel like he’s so under utilized. The reason I think he’s boring is because he just doesn’t do anything. If the writers would just make proper use of all of the characters that they had I feel like I’d look on the specialists as a whole more kindly. But that kind of stuff is just my opinion I know a lot of my complaints sound nitpicky but being overly critical is kind of how I enjoy shows. And yes you are right, all the character development for Diaspro!

In my comment I also forgot one big subject : Roxy. Yes this girl is too often forgotten by the showrunners, she deserves much better. However I don't agree with the Unicorn of war (I don't know your opinion on this so for now it's just about what they say) but as much as I love her I don't think she should join the Winx at the end of season 4. Aisha could at the beginning of season 2 because she is very skilled at magic and got introduced very early in the season. She is also entering very smoothly into the group. And I don't feel they worked that well with Roxy in season 4. I love season 4 but during the whole season they make it very clear that she is not part of the group. She doesn't even have Believix wings (and alledgedly Believix at all). At the end of season 4 she is nowhere near as strong as the Winx and not only from season 4 also from season 1, she only knows basic spells and it's normal for someone who just learned how to use magic and who didn't go to Alphea unlike Bloom in season 1. Season 5 could have salvage that but the writers deciding to keep the status quo ended almost completely the possibility. Season 7 could have salvage it too but of course they didn't (Roxy should have definitely earn her Enchantix in season 7 or at least Butterflix). She is also not the only fairy they forgot, there is also Mirta that holds a place in my heart.
Anyways, I understand why you don't like the series. Maybe I am too nice towards it because it's the best they managed for a long time.
@Le Moineau you make a lot of sense about Roxy, as it stands she really can’t measure up to the rest of the girls power wise I wish she could’ve been better handled after season 4 because I would’ve loved to see her join the main club. But now in the main show it just makes no sense for her to be too involved in the main conflict. I would love it though in future seasons, if they never end up doing a proper reboot, mirta and Roxy to become friends and we follow a B-plot through the season of what they’re up to. But my dream is for them to just start the timeline over and introduce Roxy sooner and she and Mirta can have a bigger part in the show even if they aren’t actual Winx club members. I’m not getting my hopes up too high for any of the new Winx club stuff though, I would love to be wrong about it though. I am worried they’ll never be able to do this show proper justice. I’m glad you watched my video even though you didn’t agree with the main premise, 😊 you’ve got some great opinions on the Winx club!
Flora was definitely more powerful in WoW which I would appreciate if it happened to Tecna and Aisha and even Musa since they are my favorites but no. I just felt that they focused a little too much on Flora’s power and not on the Aisha, Tecnas. I actually really enjoy the fact the Aisha uses more hydrokinesis I think she also really got an upgrade but her uniqueness in personality has kind of faded. The way they she defeated her nemesis, I would really want more from her. Tecna, she didn’t really do anything but used a sword to defeat her nemesis and clearly Tecna isn’t the fairy of Technology in this, she is the fairy of computers and shields even when they asked her if she can fix the watch thing but that is actually considered technology and that does limit her. She could also do industrial technology and maybe she could shut down the queen’s house or something the show her more powerful. I don’t think Musa was limited in fact she got stronger which I like she is now the fairy of Sound!!! I actually like how Stella can see the past with light and I like how Bloom was downgraded since Winx club kept shoving her power in my face. Yes Tecna is my second favorite Character and Aisha is first. I just want Tecna to shine more.

Spin off shows don't have to follow continuity of the og show. It's supposed to be its own thing that borrows aspects of the og.

Season 4…… slice of life could be better. Roxy is an addition but would be useless with just her magic winx. And the winx would help her getting stronger faster with as end goal for roxy enchantix at the end of the season. I mean she helped save her home world. Also… more character development for the wizards please. Some of them could be replaced by a plank and you wouldn’t notice.
Season 5. The lilo. Either do smth with it or delete it. Make the fetch quest more interesting. No character change PLEASE. no aging down. Instead of students the winx should either be teachers or go back to Alfea to ask Faragonda for help on the Tritanus thing (or just… open the fairy book?) Also what does being a guardian fairy mean? Shouldn’t we have drama for that? Andros needs Aisha as guardian fsiry but she wants to stay with the winx to sort this out instead creating drama in her kingdom? Same for the other girls when the pillars are attacked. Make Diaspro evil. HOW can she be at the palace while she tried to poison Sky? Make her an actual evil mastermind. Make Aisha be sad abt Nabu for longer.. please.. make Roy her best friend instead of a love interest. Less generic energy beams. And more princess duties please!
Season 6. Mythix should be based on actual fairytales costume wise. And the cgi just.. no leave it out. Don’t change the pixies from s2. I hate the newer ones, i hate s6 pixies in general. Have fresh legendary stories for the different worlds and a physical way for the winx and anyone else to know how long they can be stuck there. (Colour changing jewelry hello?? Marketing??) Make Selene vs Bloom an ACTUAL problem and dont you DARE nerf Nebula. Make the schools involved more and give the trix a bounty so we won’t forget what they did in the past. How can the power of the dragonflame be overpowered by some first yesr witches? Less generic energy beams. More princess duties please! Again Lex should have been left out and Thorren could have been a lot better.
S7 has LOTS of issues. It should have been roxy’s season. She should’ve gotten butterflix and tinix. The traveling time thing either needs to be explained or go. Make Brafilius less stupid and make him a genuine good guy forced into a bad guy position. Kelshara should be way more powerful and explain why she catches the fairy animals. And she should be waaaaay better at engaging with the winx. How did she become a villain? Also the trix get done badly AGAIN. And somebody please do smth abt the specialists.

Even though it aired on Netflix it was written and produced by rainbow and Nickelodeon. I probably would’ve like to see it if they set it up properly but rainbow got lazy again and changed the continuity without really telling anybody. Honestly in a school setting it makes so much sense to have a cast rotating out every 3 to 4 seasons. It would be great to see a new cast of fairies learning and growing and then graduating from Alfea. We could even have the old winks members come back to help deal with extremely difficult enemies! Though at a certain point it might resemble precure then the winx.

World of Winx isn't canon, it's just a spin-off story.
I completely understand your points, but 90% of them are about continuity and being a Winx related series but... This is not a Winx season, this is not something meant to be continuing something. World of Winx is a SPIN-OFF that have it's own timeline and continuity. That's why it doesn't make sense with things from previous seasons, because they are actually 2 completely different things. You have to watch WoW having in mind that it's its own series, not Winx, it's just have the same 6/7 protagonist as Winx, nothing more.
Then they should have done a better job at establishing these characters and setting as something new. They didn’t tell us anything new about these characters, how they know each other, or even how they were connected to the plot. I understand if you really like the show there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, but I still feel like all of my complaints were valid because they didn’t explain anything.
@@bubblingmoon Well they doesn't have to do that because the series have another name and is categorised as a spin-off so they are not obligated to do it. Listen I would also love of they gave us some more backstory and stuff, but the series is very straight forward. They just mention the changes they made without explaining them (again because they don't have to, this is a NEW series, not Winx club) and just move along with the plot. Idk I get where you are coming from but considering this is not Winx club, and is not supposed to be related to it besides the fact they share 7 characters, I don't think is a proper criticism. They are not even in the same universe or timeline...
@@bubblingmoon Also liking the show or not is not relevant here. I enjoy it and that's it, for me it wasn't anything special. I'm being 100% objective. If this was a Winx continuation I will say "You are completely right!" But it's not the case. Complain about not having relation with Winx is like going to a DC film and complain because they are not taking into account a plot that was explained in a Marvel film...
@Aukusuke I guess there’s just a fundamental difference in what we look for in shows. I maintain that if it’s a new continuity they should’ve set it up properly. If they share 7 characters and nothing else then they need to reestablish what’s going on instead of just dropping us into the middle of their hunt for the talent thief. And certainly they’re not under any obligation to put anything in the show. I think it would’ve just been a better show and much more enjoyable had they done it. I would argue that the experience is more like walking into the second Iron Man movie 30 minutes late. but again that’s just my opinion, hope you didn’t take it too seriously.
