The show is full of missed opportunities. I’m working on a rewrite myself from season 5 onward but I was debating whether it should start from season 4 or 5 season 4 didn’t have enough problems to warrant a rewrite however there was 3 episode that should have been different I needed 5 episode to warrant a change. Season 5,6,7&8 all had at least 6. The critical episode in season 4 is Nabula. They missed a chance of Bloom taking Roxy off to talk to her and revealed that she was also spelled. They could have added extra information on the season 2 finale taken from Light Bloom view.

Can we TALK about these new names for the special Sirenix spells? Inferno of Sirenix, Elixir of Sirenix (love how you managed to handwave Flora's potion-making skills there), Requiem of Sirenix (this one hurts really good knowing a requiem is a song for those who passed) and Maelstrom of Sirenix. I also love the added touch of creating Dark Sirenix spells for the villains, Blizzard of Sirenix, Shadow of Sirenix, Tempest of Sirenix. I would've like to see what name you thought of for Daphne's since you gave Roxy the Call of Sirenix.
I think Daphne's special Sirenix spell would be the Spirit of Sirenix since she is the Nymph of Sirenix, it means that she has the ability to harness power from other Sirenix wielders, including energy from the Infinite Ocean. It's a shame that Daphne was never revived in this rewrite 😔
Icy and Tritanis were my favorite ship simply because I love villains coming together to cause havoc while I’m love. I don’t care if they are blowing up cities so long as Tritanis says “does the body count please you, my queen?” And Icy, in all her smug love sickness ways, responds with, “Could be higher, but it’s the thought that counts, my dark king”. It’s cheesy but that’s the shit I live for
How does a rewrite make me feel more than the actual series ever did? Such a well done rendition, and makes the young me who ADORED this series (and the older me who still secretly does) smile and wish that THIS is how it was done. Disappointed a series with such potential was so corrupted to the point I don't even recognize it. Here's hoping something better this way comes - (you should be hired as a writer, help staying true to the core that Winx was and also bringing in elements of growth, seriousness, and maturity that seems to be lacked in later seasons.)
Should this ever become a reality, I'd suggest also do some Sky and Brandon moments. They're best friends after all, and Brandon is his squire or something as well. Does their friendship come back? How does that evolve?

Wow, this was a lot. I love a lot of aspects of this rewrite, wow. I'm trying to act like this is the season five we should have had, but I love what you did with a lot of the elements from a lot of the nick-rai content post season 4. But damn, this was really good and you're really talented. Your handling of Tritanus as a villain and making him feel like a much larger threat was probably the highlight of this whole thing for me. Without any of the "pollution bad" things, and the very subtle addiction allegory you made him manage to stand out amongst the rather dull villains post season four tended to have. I love the inclusion and expansion of previously established lore bits which helps the season feel more overall connected to the rest of Winx Club, especially that you kept them fully connected to the story instead of just using them for the sake of fan service(The Leviathan as a whole, the use of previous spells and abilities, etc). The reimagining of Bloom and Sky's relationship and keeping Sky's amnesia permanent was the kind of thing Bloom has needed for a long time, but I love the restraint of not going off and just killing him off. A writer shows more maturity in how the handle heavier themes instead of just including them to feel more mature, and I think you showed that well with a lot of your "darker" additions(Handling of Stella's parents' situation, the death of Sky's dad, and Bloom's not that great handling of Sky's amnesia). Layla getting Nabu back was a very nice reward for all the shit the poor girl has to go through in general, in this season especially. Also THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GETTING MILEAGE OUT OF FLORA, TECHNA AND ROXY! I'M SO GLAD YOU LET THEM KICK SOME ASS FOR ONCE!! I do feel like the pacing in this is a bit off, however. It's of no fault of your own, its more because Winx Club seasons are 26 episodes and you need to fill all of them. But I felt like too many things were going on at once, especially with trying to include the two movies into the season naturally while also setting up for a potentially rewritten season 6. Secondly, and this is more of a personal thing, I find it kinda gross in a way that you were trying to make Icy and Tritanus's relationship "cute". I get you were trying to work with what you had, and relationships are one of the best ways to flesh out characters, but there's something about trying to play a genuinely toxic (pun) relationship as one we should be rooting for is a bit iffy. This got really long. I really love this series you did, and please don't ground me too hard for looking forward to the season 6 rewrite in 2030.
Even toxic relationships have some good part, and being it just the people involved misinterpreting stuff. While I do agree that portraying toxic relationships as cute or normalising them is bad, I also think that showing how even apparently "ok" relationships can be extremely damaging and destructive is important. But then again, this is a VERY tough balancing act and what works for some people doesn't for others
It’s funny how the Trix and Tritanus mock and make fun of Flora calling her the weakest Winx girl but in reality she’s the second strongest behind Bloom💯💯
I mean that's not inherently true in the actual series. Flora can't go an episode without collapsing in pain, not to mention she uses the same useless vine spell all the time. She is the weakest, but she shouldn't be considering how many avenues being the fairy of nature has. Cornelia from W.I.T.C.H is a far superior example of nature magic done right.

Will admit, S6 had potential! It was fun seeing them fight folkloric creatures and fairytales! If only Bloomix and Mythix were up to par! I'm renaming Bloomix Flamix as it's literally just a part of the godly Dragon's Flame and rewriting Mythix, giving it a Greek Goddess feel to it!
Another idea for Mythix could be each girl is based on a different myth, legend, or fairytale. While the Greek god anesthetic is really good, I think that having it be much more broad would lead to more creativity when it comes to design and spells.

I have been thinking about Winx Club seasons of my own, based on the eight transformations I've created. None of them are specific to a particular environment or mission, they are just incredibly powerful transformations born out of different challenges and aren't, like Harmonix or Cosmix, outright given to them. Novellix, for example, is earned through a 12 month quest of change. The fairy enters the book of fairies, where she meets The Ethereal Driad. She grants the fairy a bracelet, where 12 charms will reside. The fairy will then go through 12 challenges, 1 per month. These challenges are to help the fairy change into a new and better self. A fairy can not have an incomplete Novellix as she goes back to the beginning if she fails any stage. Oculix is born out of dreams and visions. However, there's a curse attached. If a fairy, at the ending stage, chooses the wrong mirror or fails any of the two stages, she is taken by the Wizards of the Black Circle and must find her own way out to escape and complete her transformation. Though they are frozen in ice, the wizards can be broken out via magic if a fairy pursues this power. These are the two I particularly like drawing and creating backstories for.
2 years later I still love this so much. I honestly feel like because of everything that happens it feels like 2 seasons rather than 1. It’s beautiful but like damn if all this happened in one season I’d go into cardiac arrest.

I like that she actually gets to be a person who has been thought that she should not show emotion for the sake of being rational, and not a “robot” who has to learn how to act human and how to be sympathetic.
I loved how you make Bloom uses the wish for Aisha and give Nabu justice Even though Daphne was my favourite character and I would love to see her romantic interactions with other characters ( because you wrote so many sweet scenes like flora and helia doing origami, riven singing for musa and saving her, etc. and I wanted to see a sweet scene like that with Daphne) I think this ends the story perfectly well If you ever decide to rewrite the season 6 you should explore the other nymphs ( maybe through a legend) and it would be so cool if we can see an another nymph (maybe at Daphne's memorial?)
i will never get over how good this retelling is. You managed to keep the atmosphere tense throughout and the ending was actually incredibly heartbreaking.

As an Indian I never realised why I somehow connected to Nabu and this vid made me realise he was Indian coded. (maybe that's why i loved him so much) I think as the series went on Bloom lost all of her character and just became perfect, her and Sky were just meant to be a couple with no problems or reason. Bloom and Sky had good chemistry in seasons 1-4 (4 was a bit iffy but still good) but I hate how their relationship started off of lies (about Sky being Brandon and vice versa) and the whole betrothed to Diaspro, while I still do ship them and it hurt seeing them break up beacause at the end of the day the base of who Sky is is the same but he behaves much different as he doesn't have the lessons he learnt or things he's faced in his memory anymore. I just hope they get back together. The way you integrated Roxy was amazing and Aisha being so understanding made more sense than season 6! After season 4 Roxy had no point, she was just there as a season 4 plot device that was no longer useful. Her having issues in Alfea made everything more realistic and emotional. Aisha suffering but slowly attempting to move on from Nabu was heart breaking and so beautiful, them finally reuniting was something I wanted to see since he died(?). I never shipped her with Roy or Nex and Roy was very annoying in season 5. I love how you make it clear that Aisha still is deeply in love with Nabu and doesn't immediately jump into another relationship or into the dating circle. It made so much sense to me that Bloom would use her wish to wake Nabu because her character is that type of person. The whole lore you made about the Leviathan was amazing and so creative, Politea's backstory, the callbacks of the other seasons, the 9 Nymphs finally being talked about and Daphne finally getting to rest was amazing. This is now my version of canon
God this rewrite is so good man I wish it was real (it also got me lowkey shipping Diaspro and Bloom sodjdk I can imagine them bonding over their experiences with Sky and maybe seeing that they have a good chemistry)
Return to Me is kind of a bop, I know it rehashes a lot of material but it is one of the.. it's one of a few episodes that has the most potential to be amazing, the same is true for stella and the pillar of light. Stella and Musas are great. So much potential
i have no words??? as such a long time fan of the winx, this series has meant so much to me and i’ve had a very deep connection with the characters. you’ve hit all the points! you’ve given this season what it desperately needed! you gave the characters DEPTH, expanded their universe, and gave it all LORE! the character growth is GOLDEN. i especially love the fact musa and riven get a smooth relationship and as sad as it is, bloom loses sky (almost)! this season isn’t centered around bloom and i can THANK you for that. i loved that they can use believix and enchantix, they are embedded in the winx and the show should have thought of that. i like how they no longer had sirenix, it really keeps the power all the more mysterious and mythical! the use of the movies was genius?! keep up the great work luv

I absolutely LOVE all this! I always thought that "Mystery of the Abyss" was pointless and unnecessary and that Politea deserved better. You managed to incorporate that movie into season 5 which was beyond genius. I have watched parts 1 and 2 of this nearly a dozen times. I eagerly await your season 6 rewrite.
I really really like this rewrite and everything about it. How the stakes surrounding Sirenix and how it's earned are handled. How the lore involving the form and how it ties into the past of the Nine Nymphs.(which is a concept the series hasn't mentioned since S1)How the amnesia plot is actually used to flesh out the characters and enhance them instead of just being cheap way to use drama. How the characters development isn't reset for stupid reasons and we get to see them face new challenges as well as continuing old ones. How the continuity of the series is actually respected with callbacks to events in earlier seasons. That was also a nice way to set up Selina too. Thank for doing a better job than Rainbow. You managed to bring out the hidden potential of this season that was overshadowed for me by a bunch of flaws that were too big to ignore. On another note,I know in this rewrite that Sky and Bloom break up,(And i think that's a natural conclusion to the arc you written)but are you going have Bloom try and date other people to see if she can find romantic love elsewhere? Rarely do you see a person want to marry the first person or even second person they date. It'd be nice to see Bloom go through this process after she stays alone for a while to see if she can find the happiness that she didn't have with Sky.

@@rhettmitchell Well,IMO from the very start Bloom and Sky's relationship was handled shitty. The whole mess between Disapro/Sky/Bloom in S1 was partly his fault because of his indecisiveness and his mistakes are never brought up.And at the end of the S1,Bloom just becomes his girlfriend with no problems all all,even though she should have trust issues. That alone tells me that they weren't interested in anything but Bloom and Sky being the generic fairytale couple,with Sky being the boring prince. And even in S2,they never talk about this,but they found the time for Stella and Brandon(a secondary couple) to talk about the Day of Royals mess and how they felt,even if it was short.

Maybe season 6 can focus on stella and brandon. Or... season 5 really is difficult in that it is so plot heavy. But it has the freedom to do so because of 4 seasons of growth and progression. Internal conflicts are great but another great way to get your reader invested is to have interpersonal drama. I cant wait for season 5 episode outlines to release in 2050.

If you still have left of sanity,how about re-write winx club season 6 and it WASTED POTENTIAL and not to mention season itself was supposed to be anniversary season little tip for re write of season 6: *make bloomix and mythix into one single fairy form.Just renamed bloomix into mythix to make it least name sound "fair enough" than "bloomix" and that it. *make Eldora's character little bit more serious and wise character(like typical mentor or wise-people you see in the movie while still keep funny and joy personality to make it balance her character has flaws. *The Winx create their own teaching place on alfea based around season 6 location (for example,Musa's music cafe,stella's fashion lesson shop,flora's greenhouse,tecna's tecnomagic workshop,and aisha's morphix gym)and have a mini arc where bloom feel lonely when the winx busy working at their workplace/teaching place and she doesn't know what to do with her future(steven universe future pattern and for those who already watches it you know how things going)
or rename bloomix to draconix and for it to be the "enchantix" of season 6 have the mythix wands be like the fairy dust from season 2 but mythix has got to go
This was such a fantastic rewrite. I loved Tecna's subplot with her parents, Musa being able to heal the whales, and that you kept including Roxy when you could. Having her not join the club after season four is a huge crime. Giving the girls aside from Bloom more meaningful stuff to do in general is so refreshing and welcoming. I also really liked how you handled Tritanus. He sounds much more interesting and intimidating than I recall from watching the actual season. Honestly, all of the villains here get some really good moments. The backstory episode in particular sounded so cool and I like that you were hinting at Icy's backstory throughout the later parts of this video too. All of the new spell names were also fantastic. I'm still surprised that you kept the whole Sky has amnesia plot, but especially that it became permanent and led to Bloom and Sky breaking up. It makes perfect sense with how the plot unfolded here. After everything they went through and having to come to terms with Sky effectively being a different person now, it would be difficult for them to stay a couple, let alone get married. I just wouldn't have seen it coming even from the first video given how the plot was handled in the show. I like Bloom and Sky's romance. It's cute fluff, but the idea of the two of them just being friends for awhile or potentially dating other people is interesting. Although, I assume that they would just fall in love again after taking a break more than anything else. I love that you kept the three memories bit though. That was adorable. The letter from Diaspro was also quite touching. While I was never that into her character, the prospect of a Diaspro redemption sounds pretty neat. I loved the finale too. It provided a proper explanation as to why the girls would need a new transformation for the next season now that they couldn't use Sirenix. Bloom actually using her wish to save Nabu instead of Sky was a big surprise, which is nice since his death felt pretty unnecessary in the grand scheme of things. Daphne being able to move on to the afterlife was fitting after everything that happened. The natural led into the next season was a pretty nice touch, especially with that surprise twist. It was a really great rewrite for season five and I enjoyed watching both videos so much.

First things first, I loved Nabu's awakening cuz of the wish and the infinite ocean being sealed off. It's sad but it makes sense given how the Leviathan was prolly pissy at so many people running all over their aquatic lawn. I also figured Daphne was going to disappear since Sirenix was locked away again, but it still didn't prevent me from crying ;-; Hopefully she gets some nice and deserved rest (under a lake) in the afterlife lmao. The only thing that I "didn't like" was Sky and Bloom breaking up. Don't get me wrong, it's super valid and it makes absolute sense for their relationship to be a mess after... everything they went through, but it made my heart ache because they're my second favorite couple and I love them a lot. This is... FIRE. One change that I would make is having Brandon propose to Stella at some point. You gave them SO MANY GREAT MOMENTS, and I just want something to tie it all together.
Tbh, I love the idea of Roxy being more involved (as it should be) I just do not think that I would be happy if she were the 7th member. I have much reasons I cant list all of them here, but main one would be I would like to see other faries outside the club being handled as well, with their own transformation steps and all that.
I just re-listened the Part 1 of this video after never got to hearing it again back in June, and now things have finally come together. This whole rewrite of the whole Season 5 has pretty heavy content, both weight and depth, in a good way. I pretty much have many things recorded in my mind and imagination, and I am definitely gonna pretend this was the Season 5 we actually got. =D I can really imagine Roxy being part in all of this. Now that I've finished listening to all 26 episode outlines, I wonder if when might Roxy get her official Enchantix, if that issue even relevant at this point. But when we consider that after what really happened in this ending, Roxy went back to having just her powers she got from the official Season 4.
Damnnnnnnn!! I am weirdly really satisfied about how the amnesia got handled. Pity about the forgotten amulet, back in episode 1? 2? I am kinda sad it's just gonna be left unknown about. I'm adding to your fan fiction, in my head that Brandon knew about it and reminist about it while everybody was hanging out together. Everybody is obviously confused, but newly determined to find this mysterious amulet that nobody knows where is. Techna points out the probability of it being in the ocean from the fight. I imagine the girls go on a quest to find it, for 'closure' sake for Bloom. Maybe Bloom goes on her own, with possibly Aisha cause water powers. They find it, bring it back. One of them, maybe Musa is surprised that she can somehow hear og Sky's soul song in it, cause he forged it himself and his soul is in it. Bla bla bla, plot stuff. boom, we got OG Sky back!!! And they lived happily ever after!!! Until season 6 starts...
To be honest it makes sense that Daphne would have originally been the wielder of the dragon-flame because the reason of why she probably would get the dragon-flame is that when she died it would have been tooken from her and then given to bloom that way the ancestral witches couldn't have it

I actually imagined Politea when finally being able to move on catch a glimpse of her lover extending his hand out to her (as cheesy as it probably sounds), but that would have also been a nice touch, but I love this so much already! I have a lot to say after fully watching this video. First of all, thank you. Thank you for putting so much effort into doing these videos. You really deserve more subscribers and patrons to be able to support your content more! I am very pleased with this ending as it made more sense for Daphne to move on and also for Bloom and Sky to be apart, especially since Daphne doesn’t have a large role anymore and her role was diminished in later seasons. This was a much better and more realistic ending and I am glad it was Nabu that came back! He was the best male character for me. Sky on the other hand, I just never really was a fan of Bloom X Sky. They were frequently insecure and I honestly loved that sweet touch of her realizing she was forcing her feelings on to him when he had amnesia and realized she was doing the same thing as Diaspro was. Im gonna be straight up honest with this, honestly this is the most amazing re-write of any season of any show I have ever listned too I haven't listen to many but this one left my crying in tears of joy, sadness, especially with bloom and sky splitting and bloom using her wish to reawaken Naboo, I thought that was definitely the BEST part of this whole rewrite, I especially love how you made the harmonic designs for sirenix, because I do agree sirenix as a design is just... yikes.. I also especially love believix becoming a major part in this season as it didn't get a whole lot of time to shine in season 4 with all those gosh darn nice looking sub transformations, but I really think the best part about this story is how you tied in Poletia being the main villoan here, and Daphne getting her happy ending of going to the after life and also foreshadowing Selena, I would've definitely said that Daphne should've gotten to stay a spirit back in Domino so bloom could've at least had an older sibling to talk to, but that's just a minor issue, overall this was just amazing I loved every single moment of it and I really hope a season 6 rewrite comes out because my god I wanna see the next enchantix! and one last thing, the spell reuses, and roxy also being added to s5. perfect just LITTERALLY perfect.
Me too. Daphne has always been my favorite character hands down. But that is like my one complaint of this rewrite. I have my own idea of how Daphne can still be in the show but not done so bad like Nick did. Like a whole time traveling story, I just like that idea.
Honestly I think it’s worst. It almost negates her sacrifice if she can just be brought back by a specific method and if she was the OG dragon flame, then wouldn’t it go back to her eventually?

I just had the weirdest thought while I saw this. I imagined, it it were animated that Politea would have her own unique Sirenix transformation sequence, and that for her, she'd have her own unique edition of the song for it. And...here's what I thought it'd be like: I feel the power of the ocean Collecting in the deepest part of me Sirenix underwater motion Suddenly I'm soaring through the sea It's a rush of wonder I can fly Plunging deep down under I feel the wave of transformation I feel my power rising through the blue Sirenix is the inspiration The power of the sea belongs to you Now the Infinite Ocean Flow to me Like a mystical potion In this case, it'd be playing slower, more distorted, with a deeper voice, to show Politea's darkness growing, and the lyrics here warped to reflect Politea's new dominating, desiring, and selfish way of thinking. Compared to the original which was more heroic and sounded more like the Winx were finding unity with the Infinite Ocean through Sirenix, the lyrics here are warped to reflect Politea's desire to dominate it, to control it.
Damn this was good! While not a fan of Nabu coming back to life at first, I still love how you brought him back, kept Daphne dead, and broke Bloom and Sky apart. And I love the twist of having Selena actually being Vernomiya. Take your time with your own re-write of season 6. I'm sure it will be worth the wait when it's done in a few years. LOL
I wonder does Selena still know Bloom if so I think it would be a good idea if Selena and Bloom weren't very close Bloom and her were friends as babies and Bloom just stood up for her a few times but Selena saw this as them being friends and Bloom was her only "friend" so when she left it really hurt her and when she found out Bloom had left and went to Alfea and made new friends she sought out power and that lead her to Asharon
Oh, that cliff hanger! That was insane! It would be so cool if somehow this became canon. Like, Rainbow just apologised to the whole winx club community, scrapped what they had, and recreated it better. Season 5 version two, with an extra serving of plot juice and salad. You should script the new netflix series. Save our souls. I would love a video of the next seasons scripting too, though! This one was really good! I bet the next one would be even better! These videos are great and these stories are amazing. I could listen to these videos all day and night and never get board. Your content is amazing! I love it!
It would be really interesting to watch a video about the different intros of Winx Club. I like the German intro of the first season most of all. I'm interested in whether the intros have been changed in the different languages. And even more.
Okay so my thoughts (Now that I have time to truly say em) , I thought the 2nd half was really good. I wasn't a big fan of the Nabu coma ret-con at first. But after the ending and what it took im a big fan. I do think that Sirenix should have been kept thou as it a big fan favorite and everyone stans it alongside Enchantix. Disapro's letter was a great edition and your characitzation of Bloom actually made her really likeable and relatable.
I really love this rewrite series that you are doing. Honestly it's a lot of fun listening to you and what your would have done if you had the power to change the story. Winx should really hire you to fix the show. I am really loving your content so much. Keep up the awesome work!
if you plan re-writing season 4, i suggest giving roxy her enchantix when she saves the terrestrial fairies. I know some people believe that roxy is in her believix form, but bloom stated when they went to rescue the specialists from diana, that the mission is too dangerous for a fairy with no believix powers. I'm not sure if this would fit the continuity, since I think that in order to achieve enchantix, a fairy must be attending a fairy school and have already gotten her charmix. but anyway, since enchantix is required to get any fairy form above it, I think you could give her a somehow mashed up fairy form of believix and enchantix, so she could later also get the gifts of destiny, sort of be on the same level with the other winx and later gain sirenix with the rest
or like how the terrestrial fairies were different from all of the magic dimension, she can earn Enchantix at any level and that there is no order for which the earth fairies have to earn it.
Yes, I would really like him to decide to remake season 4th later and highlight Roxy's story, her powers and her relationship with all the girls in a better way. I didn't like how it was handled in the canon version.

Season 5 was my first season of Winx Club, so it holds a lot of nostalgia for me despite its many flaws. I really like how you've rewritten it, and how you managed to improve on the ancient, dangerous vibe of Sirenix that made me love the transformation in the first place. I will say, I was disappointed with how their Sirenix powers got revoked at the end, but everything else is great.
oh my god this is honestly soooo perfect!! over the two parts, you’ve really kept the key storylines of season 5 but included them in a well written, creative, mature season that perfectly fits into the larger story/timeline. i particularly loved bloom saving nabu and the diaspro storyline!! honestly if rainbow decides to ever make a winx club reboot, they need you on their writers team (or for the next season(s) of the live action!!)

I really enjoyed this rewrite. It feels more like what would have happend and not just following the "We need more merge" - Theme (even u would have some pretty good merge potentials in ur rewrite ;) ) That Bloom and Sky are breaking up and Bloom sets Nabu free instat of the recovering Sky is a really good conclusion in my Opinion. It shows a growth in Blooms Character, that was really missing in the Original. Also it recreates the Bond between the Winx, to see not only all of the others give and Bloom just gets things. I'm also in the Roxy Winx Nr. 7 Club and like the Idea of her and Aisha bonding over the difficulties of the outsider feeling in a preexistent group of friends. The Winx earned their powers and achievements in this Story honestly. I also liked the focus on Techna and her family and the way flora thought of her father to help the wounded wolf. I would have really liked to see this version of the story as part of the animated series :) Especially because of the cliffhanger ... awaiting the season 6 rewrite....

The show is full of missed opportunities. I’m working on a rewrite myself from season 5 onward but I was debating whether it should start from season 4 or 5 season 4 didn’t have enough problems to warrant a rewrite however there was 3 episode that should have been different I needed 5 episode to warrant a change. Season 5,6,7&8 all had at least 6.
The critical episode in season 4 is Nabula. They missed a chance of Bloom taking Roxy off to talk to her and revealed that she was also spelled. They could have added extra information on the season 2 finale taken from Light Bloom view.

Can we TALK about these new names for the special Sirenix spells? Inferno of Sirenix, Elixir of Sirenix (love how you managed to handwave Flora's potion-making skills there), Requiem of Sirenix (this one hurts really good knowing a requiem is a song for those who passed) and Maelstrom of Sirenix.
I also love the added touch of creating Dark Sirenix spells for the villains, Blizzard of Sirenix, Shadow of Sirenix, Tempest of Sirenix. I would've like to see what name you thought of for Daphne's since you gave Roxy the Call of Sirenix.
I think Daphne's special Sirenix spell would be the Spirit of Sirenix since she is the Nymph of Sirenix, it means that she has the ability to harness power from other Sirenix wielders, including energy from the Infinite Ocean.
It's a shame that Daphne was never revived in this rewrite 😔

How does a rewrite make me feel more than the actual series ever did? Such a well done rendition, and makes the young me who ADORED this series (and the older me who still secretly does) smile and wish that THIS is how it was done. Disappointed a series with such potential was so corrupted to the point I don't even recognize it. Here's hoping something better this way comes - (you should be hired as a writer, help staying true to the core that Winx was and also bringing in elements of growth, seriousness, and maturity that seems to be lacked in later seasons.)

Wow, this was a lot. I love a lot of aspects of this rewrite, wow. I'm trying to act like this is the season five we should have had, but I love what you did with a lot of the elements from a lot of the nick-rai content post season 4. But damn, this was really good and you're really talented.
Your handling of Tritanus as a villain and making him feel like a much larger threat was probably the highlight of this whole thing for me. Without any of the "pollution bad" things, and the very subtle addiction allegory you made him manage to stand out amongst the rather dull villains post season four tended to have. I love the inclusion and expansion of previously established lore bits which helps the season feel more overall connected to the rest of Winx Club, especially that you kept them fully connected to the story instead of just using them for the sake of fan service(The Leviathan as a whole, the use of previous spells and abilities, etc). The reimagining of Bloom and Sky's relationship and keeping Sky's amnesia permanent was the kind of thing Bloom has needed for a long time, but I love the restraint of not going off and just killing him off. A writer shows more maturity in how the handle heavier themes instead of just including them to feel more mature, and I think you showed that well with a lot of your "darker" additions(Handling of Stella's parents' situation, the death of Sky's dad, and Bloom's not that great handling of Sky's amnesia). Layla getting Nabu back was a very nice reward for all the shit the poor girl has to go through in general, in this season especially. Also THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GETTING MILEAGE OUT OF FLORA, TECHNA AND ROXY! I'M SO GLAD YOU LET THEM KICK SOME ASS FOR ONCE!!
I do feel like the pacing in this is a bit off, however. It's of no fault of your own, its more because Winx Club seasons are 26 episodes and you need to fill all of them. But I felt like too many things were going on at once, especially with trying to include the two movies into the season naturally while also setting up for a potentially rewritten season 6. Secondly, and this is more of a personal thing, I find it kinda gross in a way that you were trying to make Icy and Tritanus's relationship "cute". I get you were trying to work with what you had, and relationships are one of the best ways to flesh out characters, but there's something about trying to play a genuinely toxic (pun) relationship as one we should be rooting for is a bit iffy.
This got really long. I really love this series you did, and please don't ground me too hard for looking forward to the season 6 rewrite in 2030.
Even toxic relationships have some good part, and being it just the people involved misinterpreting stuff. While I do agree that portraying toxic relationships as cute or normalising them is bad, I also think that showing how even apparently "ok" relationships can be extremely damaging and destructive is important. But then again, this is a VERY tough balancing act and what works for some people doesn't for others

I mean that's not inherently true in the actual series. Flora can't go an episode without collapsing in pain, not to mention she uses the same useless vine spell all the time. She is the weakest, but she shouldn't be considering how many avenues being the fairy of nature has. Cornelia from W.I.T.C.H is a far superior example of nature magic done right.

I have been thinking about Winx Club seasons of my own, based on the eight transformations I've created. None of them are specific to a particular environment or mission, they are just incredibly powerful transformations born out of different challenges and aren't, like Harmonix or Cosmix, outright given to them.
Novellix, for example, is earned through a 12 month quest of change. The fairy enters the book of fairies, where she meets The Ethereal Driad. She grants the fairy a bracelet, where 12 charms will reside. The fairy will then go through 12 challenges, 1 per month. These challenges are to help the fairy change into a new and better self. A fairy can not have an incomplete Novellix as she goes back to the beginning if she fails any stage.
Oculix is born out of dreams and visions. However, there's a curse attached. If a fairy, at the ending stage, chooses the wrong mirror or fails any of the two stages, she is taken by the Wizards of the Black Circle and must find her own way out to escape and complete her transformation. Though they are frozen in ice, the wizards can be broken out via magic if a fairy pursues this power.
These are the two I particularly like drawing and creating backstories for.

I like that she actually gets to be a person who has been thought that she should not show emotion for the sake of being rational, and not a “robot” who has to learn how to act human and how to be sympathetic.

Even though Daphne was my favourite character and I would love to see her romantic interactions with other characters ( because you wrote so many sweet scenes like flora and helia doing origami, riven singing for musa and saving her, etc. and I wanted to see a sweet scene like that with Daphne) I think this ends the story perfectly well
If you ever decide to rewrite the season 6 you should explore the other nymphs ( maybe through a legend) and it would be so cool if we can see an another nymph (maybe at Daphne's memorial?)
i will never get over how good this retelling is. You managed to keep the atmosphere tense throughout and the ending was actually incredibly heartbreaking.

As an Indian I never realised why I somehow connected to Nabu and this vid made me realise he was Indian coded. (maybe that's why i loved him so much)
I think as the series went on Bloom lost all of her character and just became perfect, her and Sky were just meant to be a couple with no problems or reason.
Bloom and Sky had good chemistry in seasons 1-4 (4 was a bit iffy but still good) but I hate how their relationship started off of lies (about Sky being Brandon and vice versa) and the whole betrothed to Diaspro, while I still do ship them and it hurt seeing them break up beacause at the end of the day the base of who Sky is is the same but he behaves much different as he doesn't have the lessons he learnt or things he's faced in his memory anymore. I just hope they get back together.
The way you integrated Roxy was amazing and Aisha being so understanding made more sense than season 6! After season 4 Roxy had no point, she was just there as a season 4 plot device that was no longer useful. Her having issues in Alfea made everything more realistic and emotional.
Aisha suffering but slowly attempting to move on from Nabu was heart breaking and so beautiful, them finally reuniting was something I wanted to see since he died(?). I never shipped her with Roy or Nex and Roy was very annoying in season 5. I love how you make it clear that Aisha still is deeply in love with Nabu and doesn't immediately jump into another relationship or into the dating circle.
It made so much sense to me that Bloom would use her wish to wake Nabu because her character is that type of person. The whole lore you made about the Leviathan was amazing and so creative, Politea's backstory, the callbacks of the other seasons, the 9 Nymphs finally being talked about and Daphne finally getting to rest was amazing.
This is now my version of canon
God this rewrite is so good man I wish it was real (it also got me lowkey shipping Diaspro and Bloom sodjdk I can imagine them bonding over their experiences with Sky and maybe seeing that they have a good chemistry)
The story of polotea with her lover having to walk like it feels like he’s walking on broken glass is such a cool reference to the little mermaid
Return to Me is kind of a bop, I know it rehashes a lot of material but it is one of the.. it's one of a few episodes that has the most potential to be amazing, the same is true for stella and the pillar of light. Stella and Musas are great. So much potential
i have no words??? as such a long time fan of the winx, this series has meant so much to me and i’ve had a very deep connection with the characters. you’ve hit all the points! you’ve given this season what it desperately needed! you gave the characters DEPTH, expanded their universe, and gave it all LORE! the character growth is GOLDEN. i especially love the fact musa and riven get a smooth relationship and as sad as it is, bloom loses sky (almost)! this season isn’t centered around bloom and i can THANK you for that. i loved that they can use believix and enchantix, they are embedded in the winx and the show should have thought of that. i like how they no longer had sirenix, it really keeps the power all the more mysterious and mythical! the use of the movies was genius?! keep up the great work luv

I absolutely LOVE all this! I always thought that "Mystery of the Abyss" was pointless and unnecessary and that Politea deserved better. You managed to incorporate that movie into season 5 which was beyond genius. I have watched parts 1 and 2 of this nearly a dozen times. I eagerly await your season 6 rewrite.

Redeemed Diaspro was one of my favorite parts of this series.
I really really like this rewrite and everything about it. How the stakes surrounding Sirenix and how it's earned are handled. How the lore involving the form and how it ties into the past of the Nine Nymphs.(which is a concept the series hasn't mentioned since S1)How the amnesia plot is actually used to flesh out the characters and enhance them instead of just being cheap way to use drama. How the characters development isn't reset for stupid reasons and we get to see them face new challenges as well as continuing old ones. How the continuity of the series is actually respected with callbacks to events in earlier seasons. That was also a nice way to set up Selina too.
Thank for doing a better job than Rainbow. You managed to bring out the hidden potential of this season that was overshadowed for me by a bunch of flaws that were too big to ignore.
On another note,I know in this rewrite that Sky and Bloom break up,(And i think that's a natural conclusion to the arc you written)but are you going have Bloom try and date other people to see if she can find romantic love elsewhere? Rarely do you see a person want to marry the first person or even second person they date. It'd be nice to see Bloom go through this process after she stays alone for a while to see if she can find the happiness that she didn't have with Sky.
Idk i could see them getting back together again after him regaining some memories (somehow lol) and it still not working out. They can both do better. Or maybe they’ve just been written poorly almost the entire time in canon
@@rhettmitchell Well,IMO from the very start Bloom and Sky's relationship was handled shitty. The whole mess between Disapro/Sky/Bloom in S1 was partly his fault because of his indecisiveness and his mistakes are never brought up.And at the end of the S1,Bloom just becomes his girlfriend with no problems all all,even though she should have trust issues. That alone tells me that they weren't interested in anything but Bloom and Sky being the generic fairytale couple,with Sky being the boring prince. And even in S2,they never talk about this,but they found the time for Stella and Brandon(a secondary couple) to talk about the Day of Royals mess and how they felt,even if it was short.

Maybe season 6 can focus on stella and brandon. Or... season 5 really is difficult in that it is so plot heavy. But it has the freedom to do so because of 4 seasons of growth and progression.
Internal conflicts are great but another great way to get your reader invested is to have interpersonal drama.
I cant wait for season 5 episode outlines to release in 2050.

*make bloomix and mythix into one single fairy form.Just renamed bloomix into mythix to make it least name sound "fair enough" than "bloomix" and that it.
*make Eldora's character little bit more serious and wise character(like typical mentor or wise-people you see in the movie while still keep funny and joy personality to make it balance her character has flaws.
*The Winx create their own teaching place on alfea based around season 6 location (for example,Musa's music cafe,stella's fashion lesson shop,flora's greenhouse,tecna's tecnomagic workshop,and aisha's morphix gym)and have a mini arc where bloom feel lonely when the winx busy working at their workplace/teaching place and she doesn't know what to do with her future(steven universe future pattern and for those who already watches it you know how things going)
But bloomix is super tacky!
or rename bloomix to draconix and for it to be the "enchantix" of season 6 have the mythix wands be like the fairy dust from season 2 but mythix has got to go

This was such a fantastic rewrite. I loved Tecna's subplot with her parents, Musa being able to heal the whales, and that you kept including Roxy when you could. Having her not join the club after season four is a huge crime. Giving the girls aside from Bloom more meaningful stuff to do in general is so refreshing and welcoming. I also really liked how you handled Tritanus. He sounds much more interesting and intimidating than I recall from watching the actual season. Honestly, all of the villains here get some really good moments. The backstory episode in particular sounded so cool and I like that you were hinting at Icy's backstory throughout the later parts of this video too. All of the new spell names were also fantastic.
I'm still surprised that you kept the whole Sky has amnesia plot, but especially that it became permanent and led to Bloom and Sky breaking up. It makes perfect sense with how the plot unfolded here. After everything they went through and having to come to terms with Sky effectively being a different person now, it would be difficult for them to stay a couple, let alone get married. I just wouldn't have seen it coming even from the first video given how the plot was handled in the show. I like Bloom and Sky's romance. It's cute fluff, but the idea of the two of them just being friends for awhile or potentially dating other people is interesting. Although, I assume that they would just fall in love again after taking a break more than anything else. I love that you kept the three memories bit though. That was adorable. The letter from Diaspro was also quite touching. While I was never that into her character, the prospect of a Diaspro redemption sounds pretty neat.
I loved the finale too. It provided a proper explanation as to why the girls would need a new transformation for the next season now that they couldn't use Sirenix. Bloom actually using her wish to save Nabu instead of Sky was a big surprise, which is nice since his death felt pretty unnecessary in the grand scheme of things. Daphne being able to move on to the afterlife was fitting after everything that happened. The natural led into the next season was a pretty nice touch, especially with that surprise twist. It was a really great rewrite for season five and I enjoyed watching both videos so much.
Omg, I got so overwhelmed and nearly cried with that ending about Daphne... it is just so beautiful and touching... Well done. You did an amazing and unforgettable work and you re-awakened this chill and this emotion I hadn't felt with this series for a long time. Let's all salute the real Season 5.

You took a mediocre season and turned it into something that practically rivals seasons 1-3. I look forward to your season 6 rewrite!

Last edit (hopefully)- God that last episode left me in shambles. YOU'VE WRECKED ME!! First things first, I loved Nabu's awakening cuz of the wish and the infinite ocean being sealed off. It's sad but it makes sense given how the Leviathan was prolly pissy at so many people running all over their aquatic lawn. I also figured Daphne was going to disappear since Sirenix was locked away again, but it still didn't prevent me from crying ;-; Hopefully she gets some nice and deserved rest (under a lake) in the afterlife lmao. The only thing that I "didn't like" was Sky and Bloom breaking up. Don't get me wrong, it's super valid and it makes absolute sense for their relationship to be a mess after... everything they went through, but it made my heart ache because they're my second favorite couple and I love them a lot. But hey, maybe some miraculous miracle makes the heart pendant make a sudden appearance and things get happy again! Right! ....R-Right....? :,)
And last but not least, the Venomia plot twist! Gotta say I was not expecting that at all! Cue audible gasp when I heard that damn book's name. If you do write season 6 eventually, I'm sure it's gonna be a blast just like this rewrite was. Everything about it, the humor, the pacing, the interactions, even the spells were so fun and creative and curse the winx team for not having you to fix their shit scripts. I'm gonna finish this essay cuz good lord I went off on a tangent >.> but once again thanks for much for doing such an awesome work! Stay amazing~

This is... FIRE. One change that I would make is having Brandon propose to Stella at some point. You gave them SO MANY GREAT MOMENTS, and I just want something to tie it all together.
Tbh, I love the idea of Roxy being more involved (as it should be) I just do not think that I would be happy if she were the 7th member. I have much reasons I cant list all of them here, but main one would be I would like to see other faries outside the club being handled as well, with their own transformation steps and all that.
I just re-listened the Part 1 of this video after never got to hearing it again back in June, and now things have finally come together. This whole rewrite of the whole Season 5 has pretty heavy content, both weight and depth, in a good way. I pretty much have many things recorded in my mind and imagination, and I am definitely gonna pretend this was the Season 5 we actually got. =D
I can really imagine Roxy being part in all of this. Now that I've finished listening to all 26 episode outlines, I wonder if when might Roxy get her official Enchantix, if that issue even relevant at this point. But when we consider that after what really happened in this ending, Roxy went back to having just her powers she got from the official Season 4.
Damnnnnnnn!! I am weirdly really satisfied about how the amnesia got handled. Pity about the forgotten amulet, back in episode 1? 2? I am kinda sad it's just gonna be left unknown about. I'm adding to your fan fiction, in my head that Brandon knew about it and reminist about it while everybody was hanging out together. Everybody is obviously confused, but newly determined to find this mysterious amulet that nobody knows where is. Techna points out the probability of it being in the ocean from the fight. I imagine the girls go on a quest to find it, for 'closure' sake for Bloom. Maybe Bloom goes on her own, with possibly Aisha cause water powers. They find it, bring it back. One of them, maybe Musa is surprised that she can somehow hear og Sky's soul song in it, cause he forged it himself and his soul is in it.
Bla bla bla, plot stuff. boom, we got OG Sky back!!! And they lived happily ever after!!! Until season 6 starts...

To be honest it makes sense that Daphne would have originally been the wielder of the dragon-flame because the reason of why she probably would get the dragon-flame is that when she died it would have been tooken from her and then given to bloom that way the ancestral witches couldn't have it

I am very pleased with this ending as it made more sense for Daphne to move on and also for Bloom and Sky to be apart, especially since Daphne doesn’t have a large role anymore and her role was diminished in later seasons. This was a much better and more realistic ending and I am glad it was Nabu that came back! He was the best male character for me. Sky on the other hand, I just never really was a fan of Bloom X Sky. They were frequently insecure and I honestly loved that sweet touch of her realizing she was forcing her feelings on to him when he had amnesia and realized she was doing the same thing as Diaspro was. GOD. I loved this so much.
I think you also made a lot of “it’s all about Bloom” critics happy with Selina mentioning it even. Lmao.
But anyways, I don’t mind waiting until 2030 for season 6 remake since that storyline was probably a complete mess. Thank you again for great story telling! This is quality story telling here x)

Im gonna be straight up honest with this, honestly this is the most amazing re-write of any season of any show I have ever listned too I haven't listen to many but this one left my crying in tears of joy, sadness, especially with bloom and sky splitting and bloom using her wish to reawaken Naboo, I thought that was definitely the BEST part of this whole rewrite, I especially love how you made the harmonic designs for sirenix, because I do agree sirenix as a design is just... yikes.. I also especially love believix becoming a major part in this season as it didn't get a whole lot of time to shine in season 4 with all those gosh darn nice looking sub transformations, but I really think the best part about this story is how you tied in Poletia being the main villoan here, and Daphne getting her happy ending of going to the after life and also foreshadowing Selena, I would've definitely said that Daphne should've gotten to stay a spirit back in Domino so bloom could've at least had an older sibling to talk to, but that's just a minor issue, overall this was just amazing I loved every single moment of it and I really hope a season 6 rewrite comes out because my god I wanna see the next enchantix! and one last thing, the spell reuses, and roxy also being added to s5. perfect just LITTERALLY perfect.
All of this had to be done because Nickelodeon happened to pay attention in Wizgiz's lesson about Age Changing spells.

Me too. Daphne has always been my favorite character hands down. But that is like my one complaint of this rewrite. I have my own idea of how Daphne can still be in the show but not done so bad like Nick did. Like a whole time traveling story, I just like that idea.

I just had the weirdest thought while I saw this. I imagined, it it were animated that Politea would have her own unique Sirenix transformation sequence, and that for her, she'd have her own unique edition of the song for it. And...here's what I thought it'd be like:

In this case, it'd be playing slower, more distorted, with a deeper voice, to show Politea's darkness growing, and the lyrics here warped to reflect Politea's new dominating, desiring, and selfish way of thinking. Compared to the original which was more heroic and sounded more like the Winx were finding unity with the Infinite Ocean through Sirenix, the lyrics here are warped to reflect Politea's desire to dominate it, to control it.
Damn this was good! While not a fan of Nabu coming back to life at first, I still love how you brought him back, kept Daphne dead, and broke Bloom and Sky apart. And I love the twist of having Selena actually being Vernomiya. Take your time with your own re-write of season 6. I'm sure it will be worth the wait when it's done in a few years. LOL

I wonder does Selena still know Bloom if so I think it would be a good idea if Selena and Bloom weren't very close Bloom and her were friends as babies and Bloom just stood up for her a few times but Selena saw this as them being friends and Bloom was her only "friend" so when she left it really hurt her and when she found out Bloom had left and went to Alfea and made new friends she sought out power and that lead her to Asharon
Oh, that cliff hanger! That was insane! It would be so cool if somehow this became canon. Like, Rainbow just apologised to the whole winx club community, scrapped what they had, and recreated it better. Season 5 version two, with an extra serving of plot juice and salad. You should script the new netflix series. Save our souls. I would love a video of the next seasons scripting too, though! This one was really good! I bet the next one would be even better! These videos are great and these stories are amazing. I could listen to these videos all day and night and never get board. Your content is amazing! I love it!

It would be really interesting to watch a video about the different intros of Winx Club. I like the German intro of the first season most of all. I'm interested in whether the intros have been changed in the different languages. And even more.
Okay so my thoughts (Now that I have time to truly say em) , I thought the 2nd half was really good. I wasn't a big fan of the Nabu coma ret-con at first. But after the ending and what it took im a big fan. I do think that Sirenix should have been kept thou as it a big fan favorite and everyone stans it alongside Enchantix. Disapro's letter was a great edition and your characitzation of Bloom actually made her really likeable and relatable.
The way i SCREAMED when Bloom revived Naboo and the Selina plot twist had me in shock

if you plan re-writing season 4, i suggest giving roxy her enchantix when she saves the terrestrial fairies. I know some people believe that roxy is in her believix form, but bloom stated when they went to rescue the specialists from diana, that the mission is too dangerous for a fairy with no believix powers. I'm not sure if this would fit the continuity, since I think that in order to achieve enchantix, a fairy must be attending a fairy school and have already gotten her charmix. but anyway, since enchantix is required to get any fairy form above it, I think you could give her a somehow mashed up fairy form of believix and enchantix, so she could later also get the gifts of destiny, sort of be on the same level with the other winx and later gain sirenix with the rest
or like how the terrestrial fairies were different from all of the magic dimension, she can earn Enchantix at any level and that there is no order for which the earth fairies have to earn it.
Yes, I would really like him to decide to remake season 4th later and highlight Roxy's story, her powers and her relationship with all the girls in a better way. I didn't like how it was handled in the canon version.

Season 5 was my first season of Winx Club, so it holds a lot of nostalgia for me despite its many flaws. I really like how you've rewritten it, and how you managed to improve on the ancient, dangerous vibe of Sirenix that made me love the transformation in the first place. I will say, I was disappointed with how their Sirenix powers got revoked at the end, but everything else is great.
I listened to this 4 times now.. since the release and I'm freakin just imagining how good this would've become
oh my god this is honestly soooo perfect!! over the two parts, you’ve really kept the key storylines of season 5 but included them in a well written, creative, mature season that perfectly fits into the larger story/timeline. i particularly loved bloom saving nabu and the diaspro storyline!! honestly if rainbow decides to ever make a winx club reboot, they need you on their writers team (or for the next season(s) of the live action!!)

I really enjoyed this rewrite. It feels more like what would have happend and not just following the "We need more merge" - Theme (even u would have some pretty good merge potentials in ur rewrite ;) ) That Bloom and Sky are breaking up and Bloom sets Nabu free instat of the recovering Sky is a really good conclusion in my Opinion. It shows a growth in Blooms Character, that was really missing in the Original. Also it recreates the Bond between the Winx, to see not only all of the others give and Bloom just gets things. I'm also in the Roxy Winx Nr. 7 Club and like the Idea of her and Aisha bonding over the difficulties of the outsider feeling in a preexistent group of friends. The Winx earned their powers and achievements in this Story honestly. I also liked the focus on Techna and her family and the way flora thought of her father to help the wounded wolf. I would have really liked to see this version of the story as part of the animated series :) Especially because of the cliffhanger ... awaiting the season 6 rewrite....
