I cut my top from the back line of the roof and tucked the vinyl in. I cant stand the snaps and the plastic window, so im filling the holes and doing some foam forming and fiberglass work to make it a two piece hard top.
Congrats my man, you will be the envy in town and constantly get compliments everywhere you go. No one has ever really saw a 2 seater before. I have an 86 black like yours, i added a KITT voice and scanner. I got a quote for a new top from the best in RI. He said from 18-2200 dollars, it needs to be hand made.
