    i had this Poha......last week¨when i was on holiday in India! i was really positive surprise how yummy it taste! I purchase a pack of this Poha .....cant wait to prepear it myself :)

    Excellent recipe of Poha! I remember I had been making Poha since ages but never knew the trick of making it soft and mushy. I tried this recipe and every time I make Poha it turns out delicious. A must try!

    Thank you for a very tasty dish---Poha and your fine presentation. Fried Cashew instead of peanuts and a few fried raisins avoiding sugar will enhance the taste.

    Hi Ruchi! My mom tried this today.and she forgot the potatoes and she used 1 medium sized tomatoes. It came out really well! everyone liked it at my home. I'm really happy with the results. Thanks for the recipe!!

    the number of times she says "my", I don't think she's going to allow anyone to eat that poha when it is ready,,,, she'll say my poha,,,, LOL,,,,,, all the same, love her cooking and hence subscribed and recommend it to others.

    What is the pan that you were using? I looks like a cross between a Tava and a Wok.

      I think the pan/pot which looks like a golden mean between a concave Indian griddle(Tava) and Kadhai(Deep fry pan) that she had used to make the recipe in this video is what is called as Appachetty in Tamil which is used to make a dish called Appalam, not to be confused with Appe Patra, a word in Kannada which is called as Paniyaram in Tamil.

    Whenever I try to make poha, it tends to form lumps.. is there something I should take care while soaking them?

      wash it once if u use small size poha and twice if u use medium ....and when dry add little oil to dried poha ,haldi and salt and mix it..then fry with the other ingredients ..hope it help u out

      Nainar Murugan ... Poha is actually served either as a breakfast item or as a snack with
      tea. There really is no need for a side dish unless you want to serve
      it with some buttered toast for breakfast.
