It does not explicitly said that Chidori is alive. It could be just Junpei really missed Chidori a lot and the whole proposal in his dream could just be what if she was alive.
Funny enough I hear the opposite: being a huge fan of P3 but not loving Junpei. I’ll say, I love him more in Reload than I did in original. Thanks to the extra time with him I guess
Why is everyone so hung up on Junpei talking about Chidori in his *DREAM*? You can definitely dream about a dead person still being alive. For all we know, he dreams about her constantly. He's obviously not a world-famous baseball player, either. It's just a dream, so she can be alive and he can be famous and maybe it rains Mad Bull or something.
@@horizontalnoodlelmao4286 It didn't really ruin anything, because it helped Junpei's character in the Answer. And also it was more logical, because of her Powers. So the real question, is why would a Character have Life powers in a Game about death being a fact of life?
@@Emu- that is a very good question, actually. @@samuelmartinez8106 If you think the game is about accepting death and whenever someone doesn’t die it goes against the message, you are very much mistaken.
ValenEmiya Turns out Chidori is alive. There is a secret cutscene that even I didn't know about until recently. She revived herself by taking back the life form she gave the plants while at the hospital. However, she doesn't have any memories from when she first received her persona till she was revived.
FES too? I thought it was P3:P only. I can't say for sure since I'm recently hearing about this but her revival seems to be canon and it seems to be more likely so considering that Junpei is drinking about proposing to Chidori and calling her his girlfriend. I doubt their would be a dream sequence like that without him waking up all depressed and crying if she was still dead.
Nobody, but Chidori being alive ruins Junpei's arc, and the whole theme of the game (that being death, and the acceptance of it) I just don't understand why, after making so dramatic stories, with Junpei losing his loved one, and Akihiko losing his chilhood friend (Shinjiro), would Atlus ruin the whole "memento mori" theme by reviving them. Just because fans want them to be alive? fuck that.
@@Clean.Eastwood I don't think it ruins much, as thre ar eother moments in the game where Memento Mori still has a meaning Now, if they revived Minato/Makoto, that REALLY would make me mad

This man should've made it to the goddamn big leagues! He's stronger than the average person because of his time in Tartarus.
Good ol' Stupei. Never change bro.
She lives, dammit, it's canon that she lives
Its not, it was one of the few parts of FES that was written to be non-canon because it killed Junpei's whole arc.

He did team up with Koromaru during the argument about the keys in The Answer.
I'm not a huge fan of P3, but Junpei is definitely one of my favorite Persona characters. XD

The creators confirmed that the revival scene was canon. They probably didn't add it on the very original game due to time constraints or something.
