Calm down there sparky...The Genesis Coupe and BMW 3-series are the only 2 coupes that are of subcompact size, rear-wheel drive, offered with a 4-cylinder turbo and a 6-cylinder option and can be had with automatic transmissions. That eliminates the AWD A5, G35/Q50, etc...
Depreciation: One issue with BMWs is that they depreciate a lot. For example, a three-year old 3-Series BMW is priced around $30,000, while the 6-year old 3-Series averages around $17,000. This means that a three-year old 3-Series will cost you nearly $4,000 per year in lost value alone. Reliable average or below average.
my co-worker bought a challenger r/t two months ago and the paint has started peeling off the roof. Because he didnt get the "inside/outside protection package" they refuse to fix it
Big move for MB to offer sport equipment on a low-end 250. This car just a few years ago came standard with hub caps and almost zero options. Another CAFE car is what I am thinking....more 4cyl sales means less fines for building V8's and AMG's.
You are right on the money Steve. A turbo 2.0 L and a starting price of about 36-40K would do wonders here. As is this is a good car to get in about two years when someone returns from a lease deal. Or, get the new Bimmer with the 2.0L and 240HP. Beautiful car though.
I thought, "What about Audi A5 or Cadillac CTS Coupe?" Just like you've told @teamsalvation -- the powertrains are significantly different. You can't compare V6 and/or AWD coupes to this C-Class Coupe with the turbo I-4. For 2014, BMW replaces the 3-Series Coupe with the 4-Series, but correct me if I'm wrong. (I think the 4-Series is a baby 6-Series, and it's not a bad thing).
Why do all euro cars in the US have these odd orange reflectors on the side. I know it has something to do with DOT regulation, but I don't see their usefulness.
Some people in the comments are way too analytical in comparisons. Either way, I would go with something different. Something about this car... Not entirely sure how I feel about it. Feels like at this price point, it should include a lot of things... Navigation included. Then again, I've never been super fond of Mercedes-Benz anyway. Still, nice-looking car though.
"Pits the coupe up against the Hyundai Genisis and BMW 3-Series"...Really, Hyundai Genisis? Hyundai must have be paying the bills...I would have picked the A5 from Audi over the Genisis. Heck, even the Infiniti G35, though out dated and with a 6cyl. When I think / see a Genisis goupe, I think, "racer boy, a-la Integra Type-R" - this Merc, though low in power and lacking "standard" features for the price, is no "racer boy" car. Well, props to Hyundai. They've been doing everything to get plugged.
hello, I saw that you are replacing it with a civic? did it had any issues? was it diesel? and last question was it economical on fuel and to maintenance? sorry for many question I thinking of getting one 2013 model

i love how they are saying the gen coupe is actually competing with benz and bmw coupes...have they been inside a gen coupe before?
I hate how the front end looks without the Xenon Light Package.

This car really needs the optional xenons
From the side from a distance looks like the 2008-2012 Honda Accord coupe (even the same shade of red paint).
I got mine today for only 20k with 19k miles on it 2013 model ! I love it :)
How is it please is it good ??? I'm planning to get one tomorrow and I'm looking for reviews
Steve, have you driven the new Honda Accord coupe V6?

I wish they could put a Kompressor badge on it to indicate the turbocharger. I love the older MBs especially from 1995-2008.
They didn't put Kompressor badge on those because they turbocharced, not supercharged.

Is this a good 1st car...and what does it traditionally look like with 100k miles on it?

For more excitement add kleemann or vath plug-and-play system and watch out
What did you think about it? Will you be doing a full review on the car some time in the future?
no traction control? why :(

Im not sure mine is base or sport?? Could u help me?? Its c250 2013
This doesn't "weigh less than any other two door the company sells", the SLK weighs less at less than 3200lbs
Yes. But just at the media intro.
I guess I should have said with rear seats...
I just got one. What does the coffee ☕️ mug next to the “P” mean?
That is a driver attention monitor that grades you on how not distracted you are. Congrats!
Welcome to 2014. It's the Q50.
