That'd be rad, but it'd make the list of possible guests shrink DRASTICALLY. They definitely should do that with the legit skaters though. I'm sure they've talked about this quite a bit. -
I'll never forget plumbing at a random house in Vista and going in the backyard and seeing a mega ramp towering over the trees in the distance. Better than a double rainbow
Glasses or no glasses doesn’t matter. Its all about the love for skateboarding. I wore glasses when i was young and played all sorts of sport with them. Cause it was the love for playing sports of all types. Putting yourself in a less advantageous position hurts only you. Wear the glasses and enjoy what you are doing. I used the sports straps to keep them in place cause playing out weighed looks.
Long awaited episode. Thanks to Tony and Jason for another great Pod! Brazil Rocks! They gave us the 3 B's: Bossa Nova Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ...and Bob Burnquist!
Young people may not realize the extent to which Burnquist broke ground on what was possible on a skateboard, and many of those feats have yet to be touched all these years later. Such a legend.
TONYS TEAM.... GET A MULTI GUEST EPISODE WITH THE OG GUYS FROM THE GIGANTIC SKATEPARK TOUR... THE STORIES WOULD BE INCREDIBLE. ALSO ALL THE FOOTAGE IS THERE.
When I see Bob in an interview I watch the whole thing every time....I don't think I do that with any other RUclips video period ❤❤❤ much respect and awesome awesome awesome awe 🕶️ Godbless y'all in Jesus Christ Name of Nazareth Amen
slam city jam in 95 was so insane . as a little street rat at that time , i definitely remember watching his run . for the longest time i never knew or thought he was Brazilian . such a rad skater .
So sick to see Jason not only thrive in comedy but also get busy on a heavy session like this. This is so much of a pleasant mind fuck of footage to add after an amazing cast. Great job guys
Jason now got come to Brazil mate, 😂😂🇧🇷🇧🇷 Much love for this Lendas! U guys inspire in skate Met Bob on his documentary series for HBO premiere, dream that came true since the 5 year old me. Big thanks for that!
Love you guys. Seeing Jason skating on a regular basis is really awesome. Tony with the fakie Ollie over the death gap, unreal. Listening to the stories about the huck jam amazes me to know how committed they were and still are to skate. Never stop. My heroes still rip! Get a piece!!
Bob, Bucky, Andrew and Tony are the guys that got me to take skating serious as a kid. And now at nearly 40 along with Jason they are lighting the fire in me again
There have only been a few times in my life that skating has had me literally yelling at my tv while jumping around my room. Bobs winning run in the 2001 X Games vert final was one of them. He shouldn't have made at least 5 walls and only Bob could have stayed on his board...that's the perfect illustration of what Jason and Tony were saying here. He was literally staying on his board by a toe, landing half way down the transition, somehow getting up the other wall and just carrying on until the next impossible save. Bucky took it like a champ because deep down he knew that level of skill, on that day, was unbeatable. Its one of the best vert runs in skateboarding history because it shouldn't have happened. Unless you're Bob.
Wow I was just thinking why the hell Bob hasn't been on here yet. He is a beast and has dome some crazy stuff always will be one of my favorite's you know skating going up the mega and grab's on to a helicopter to sky dive off I love quarter pipes and getting air but I'm not trying that if I get a chance.
So excited for this episode! Its my Tuesday work special. Love it. Bob is such an amazing dude from my perception of meeting briefly and its mind blowing to me to compare what he has done, when he did it and where skateboarding is now. Dude has an absolute brilliant psycho mind. Again so happy to get this one. Killer episodes and guests.
That was my favorite episode yet that I’ve seen. Great stories from all three and they clearly all have a lot of respect for each other and then to see them skating the ramp together at the end was super fuckin rad 🤙🙌✌️👊
Bob was my favorite thps character. Dude's switch stance is the most iconic to me. He has a special way of letting you know he's riding backwards doing tricks I'd never dream of regular lol.
What an episode! They talk over each other like they know each other too well. LOL. The last 4 minutes skating demo. What a treat to see. Broken bones brigade marches on. What a powerful thing these skaters do. Even Cactus got some in, before slam cuts, very impressive.
Jason, Tony! I just posted a video of someone doing an air on a 20 foot capsule oververt contest yesterday. In Huntsville, Alabama. I think it may be an NBD really hope y’all see this.
@johnjohn518 right! Guess it was either wait on him or they'd need a holiday to brasil to stalk him down. Can't believe they got Rodney, gonz, koston and Reynolds before Bob haha
I was at the Tacoma Huck Jam show! That's where the Carey wreck happened and was insane. I'm always sorry to hear how they think that was the worst of the whole tour because the whole show was amazing and was a formative experience in my life.
Bob is one of my all-time fave skateboarders. Using his character in THPS was always a must. My top 5 SB's are as follows: Tony Hawk Bob Burnquist Geoff Rawley Mullens Chad Muska....i wanna add 5 more...lol
Yess thank you Bob's a bloody legend and as a old freestyle mx rider totally agree with Jas once yah on the ramp yah don't stop eva or yah break shite...haha
Love the podcast! I know you mainly have skaters on but my suggested guests who I think would be awesome on the podcast is Henry Rollins and Ian Mackaye. They have been best friends forever lol and are both awesome speakers. Plus they are goats of punk like Tony is the goat of skating!
YOOOOO ANOTHER GREAT EPISODE FOR SURE!!! Bob has and always will be one of my favorite skaters. I was literally JUST thinking about it yesterday that it would be cool to hear more about The Boom Boom Huck Jam because I went to every one of them in ATL but I was also only like 6 or 7 so I don't remember it as good as I want to. I definitely remember being in complete awe though and even being that young I still remember having this feeling that I was watching something special!!! It would be insane if you somehow someway brought it back!!! But I already know that's a longshot!!! But it would be super dope to hear more stories from those tours. Just a suggestion, get Rick Thorne on for some more Huck Jam stories!!
Bob is looking young bc that adrenaline does the body good! Man was such a huge part of my childhood from xgames to video games!! I still remember the episode of viva la bam with him in Brazil and my older brother was like "no way they got bob on here, that dude is CRAZIER than anyone on jackass"😂
Back when i was a kid and made my very first trip to a skateshop i picked out a world industies with flame boy on it. Total kid shit. I get home and go to switch the trucks and wheels off my walmart variflex set up and the screw wholes didn't line up. I was so bummed. A neighbor who was a fireman gave his old beat up complete telling me he knew trucks would fit along with a story about how he had to stop skating because he couldn't afford to get hurt and miss work. I had been googling in my later years trying to figure out what the board was. Orion trucks, pig wheels, and a reel sticker but a well worn graffic. The board was the one bob described. Once bob said vert Reynolds everything added up. I couldn't tell you how many times i tried to find an image of it or one on ebay. Vert wasnt visible but i could see enough of Reynolds to make that name out, andrew was never on reel that i know of so it never added up to me. Fuckin vert Reynolds max shaaf. I spent so much time trying to figure out what that board was. Burt Reynolds with a chick hanging off one leg and a dog standing by the other. I would do about anything for that board. Case closed, i now know what I'm looking for. Im going to find one. What a random thing to mention, that made my day. I have one less question floating around the back of my mind. Thanks
This means that the only member of the original THPS cast that has not been on Hawk vs Wolf Is Kareem Campbell. GENTS?!?! I know who your next guest is!!!
Forgot to mention, really enjoy the skate segments. Great addition to the show l. One suggestion, since music is a huge parts of skating; during these segments either add a graphic up or list a link to the band/music played. I’m sure there’s a ton of music the early generations haven’t heard yet.
Every video should end in a sesh with the guest, for realz.
would be nice but i like a surprise
That'd be rad, but it'd make the list of possible guests shrink DRASTICALLY. They definitely should do that with the legit skaters though. I'm sure they've talked about this quite a bit. -
Absolutely!
Great idea really enjoyed that
So true, jam session at the end of every episode would make this podcast wayyy above the rest imo 🔥🛹😎
I'll never forget plumbing at a random house in Vista and going in the backyard and seeing a mega ramp towering over the trees in the distance. Better than a double rainbow
Plumbers make bank! I just had to give one $2,500.
Bet it was better then being at the First god Skatepark as a Kid.
Thanks for Sharing the memory !
:)
Nice!!! 🤘👽👽👽😬🤙
@@ordinarypete nobody has blue collar skills anymore plumbers and electricians are killing it
Its genuinely a great time to bring back boom boom huck jam
So many GOATS on one podcast!
Bro, what I wouldn't give for an hour or two to sit with these three dudes. Just to let them know what they did for me as a youngin.
This is dumb, but Bob is the reason I felt more comfortable being a skater kid with glasses.
Not dumb at all. Thats rad! 🤓😎🛹
That's not dumb.. I love that!
Bob is the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar of skateboarding
Dude being a 12yr old kid with glasses and a skater kid who already felt like a nomad I feel you for real
Glasses or no glasses doesn’t matter. Its all about the love for skateboarding. I wore glasses when i was young and played all sorts of sport with them. Long awaited episode. Thanks to Tony and Jason for another great Pod!

Fakie Five Fakie Flip is so nuts in a contest
The mullen of very
Yup, for anyone wanting to see prime Bob, go watch his run from XGames 7, absolute insanity.
Kickflip out of a blunt will live rent free forever in my brain, absolutely melted my shit when I was a young chap
TONYS TEAM.... GET A MULTI GUEST EPISODE WITH THE OG GUYS FROM THE GIGANTIC SKATEPARK TOUR... THE STORIES WOULD BE INCREDIBLE. ALSO ALL THE FOOTAGE IS THERE.
37:04 “you are a good teacher” - Jason 😂 I love it.
every time he can lol
When I see Bob in an interview I watch the whole thing every time....I don't think I do that with any other RUclips video period ❤❤❤ much respect and awesome awesome awesome awe 🕶️ Godbless y'all in Jesus Christ Name of Nazareth Amen
That session at the end looked fun; I think Tony was getting hyped up having Bob there! He was killing it!
You know the skating is on point when you see Tony getting into it. Bob's Def one of Tony's favs
I could watch a whole hour more of them just skating
Bob was my skater of choice in Thps growing up
Wow this podcast felt like 5 minutes. Thanks to Bob and to everybody for the hard work!
Mad respect to the cop that gave Bob the get outta jail free card! And rad show as always guys! One love!🤙✌️🤙
slam city jam in 95 was so insane . as a little street rat at that time , i definitely remember watching his run . for the longest time i never knew or thought he was Brazilian . such a rad skater .
Bob is one greats pro skater legend for sure up there with Tony Hawk as Vert skater
So sick to see Jason not only thrive in comedy but also get busy on a heavy session like this. This is so much of a pleasant mind fuck of footage to add after an amazing cast. Great job guys

Met Bob on his documentary series for HBO premiere, dream that came true since the 5 year old me. Big thanks for that!
The skate sesh at the end of these rocks.
Great conversation; Bob is freaking amazing!

Back yard Bob's was the best years of my life 14 years
Hell yeah! Interviews with Bob seem to be few and far between, can’t wait to listen
Yesssss!!!! Great episode for after class🤗
This podcast is criminally underrated and under-subscribed. Keep putting out the fire content Hawk & Wolf ❤
Huck Jam stories with Bob should be a monthly show.
I can definite sit back and enjoy life from watching you guys RIP.

Been waiting for Bob to come on! He's sat firmly at my no2 spot for all time favourite skakers for too many years to count. Absolute legend.
Please always show some skating at the end.
3 legends talking about legendary shit. No big deal.
The only skate pod I WATCH! Legends all three of you 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤙🏻🤙🏻🛹🛹🀄🀄
Bob was my favorite thps character. Dude's switch stance is the most iconic to me. He has a special way of letting you know he's riding backwards doing tricks I'd never dream of regular lol.
This is reminiscing with watching Xgames in the 90s-2000s so awesome
Finally!! I'm so happy this day is here. I've been waiting for Burnquist since this show started. Thanks Bob for coming to the show!
This is a great episode. My god I love these stories. This episode is better than reading a book
Thanks so much y’all!
Another sick episode!! Bob is the man
Awesome chat👍😁 that session at the end looks so enjoyable and relaxing, kinda reminds me of my old days of just mates hanging out and skating.
This podcast is so under rated it will blow up soon
Overall Skate Show! haha so epic! It was a milestone for generations to come.
This was such good vibes! What a bunch of legends!
Certified legend
the Best Megaramp skater imo

My friends and I were at slam city jam that year; it was amazing!
I saw the Huck Jam at Six Flags in Chicago. Easily one of my favorite core memories. My dad was possibly more hype than I was.
been WAITING for this one!!

People used to call the skip button the verb button when it came to skate videos, but you would never skip a bob part.
I won't ever forget Bobb did the rafter grab at Ollie's in my lil kid face still got the Firm hat he autographed
Bob! Legend!
🎉🎉🎉 made it just in time!! 😂
Another reason Bob is one of my all-time faves is bc he is brazilian and i was always a huge Vitor Belfort fan

Great episode!! I was thinking, have Andy Anderson and Rodney Mullen met before? An episode with both of them on could be super interesting!
It’s so dope to see how they all still shred. Didn’t it seem like Tony and Jason went extra hard because Bob was there?
Great podcast very entertaining ❤❤❤
Rippin boys!!!
Soo goooooood!!!!!!!!!
What a good episode I always wondered how bob spoke perfect English haha
