Wow nice! You even go over the UDIMs baking. Great video.

Thank you! Glad you liked it :D Since that was an annoying issue for me, I wanted to share with people how to fix that :D

    What a lovely little creature!
And the video is very appreciated, some more detail on how to combine the high detail mesh on the back with the rest of the body would be interesting but all in all it shows the workflow very good so you can research individual steps of the creature creation when needed, I'll surely come back to this video a lot when I finally get to making a creature, thank you!

Hey, thanks for the comment! Glad you liked the video! 😊 If you mean the retopology, basically you take care of setting an even number of subdivisions when using the addon. Then after you did the main loops(also taking care of maintaining an even number of subdivisions) you join the two meshes and then join the vertices by hand. Use the classic retopology patterns to Downscale the subdivisions (there are many videos on RUclips showing them, or also images, just Google retopology patterns). Hard, time consuming process, but at least you don't have to make everything from scratch. 😅
Hope this comment can be helpful when you decide to make your own creature 🙂

Your creature looks amazing! I liked the way you textured it, will be trying that out :)

Cute critter, Unfortunately the UV unwrapping with Multiresolution is a current limitation of blender. I recommend UV unwrapping before going too far into the Multi Resolution. However your data transfer modifier workaround is smart. Ill definitely be using that in the future, thanks!

Oh so I'm not the only one experiencing this problem, good to know, thanks.
That was a solution found trough desperation XD Constantly crashing file was driving me crazy.😅

Yup I've run into that problem consistently, among just general slow performance doing anything other than sculpting on multires. I'm sure it will get better in the future but for now we either have to do the work before it or use your workaround.@@Masha_B

Love the result and great to see the process, although I started panicking looking at retopologizing the little back details. Got to love quad remesher. 😄

Oh yeah it's great that we have such helpful add-ons even if paid, totally worth the money! But it was still super time-consuming connecting the small parts to the main body 😅🔫

      @@Masha_B Yeah also Hi agian,
YEAH i think it might be a good idea for me to start bakeing Displacement Maps as well as doing normal maps First before i go ahead and texture my owen models.

@@Yokomation I do this all the time! It could be a great basis for the texture variations that will enhance even more the little details.
