Pretty neat swap meet, I gotva passion for them toy trucks but love the old cars and trucks as much as you. Those signs are outrageously priced, after all, they dont do nothing. Good deal on pieces you bought bybthe way. That 28 roadster is pretty sweet!
I graduated in 1970 and gas at the local station ⛽ was 33.9 cents a gallon... So I'd say it was late 60's, early 70's... I'm only 60 miles away.. I'll have to ck out that show one day...
Im 74 and had my own car at 16, ive paid 32cents for gas though 35cents was more common. Same as a pack of cigarettes which i also purchased. Now, when the little lady was loading the parts in the truck, i was just watching the little lady. Hopefully i live far enough away that you'd loose steam before you got to me. Its just a compliment after all. I am 74.
I started driving in 1977, and gas was around 55.9 cents per gallon for regular. I could fill my my '65 Mustang Coupe up for around $9.50, and that was from empty.
That Ol'Yeller F100-Truck sure would look dandy with a 428 Super Cobra Jet in it backed up with a Nice Top Loader 4 Speed Trans, turning 4:56 Butt-Grear's. It sure would give a new meaning to Two Lane Black Top. Light'um up while Ya can. And that Ol'Dodge has a nice look to it, just wonder if'n it has a 426 Hemi in it or a 440 Magnum....? Eighter one would be Great, but nothing else will do. 😎
No Piggly Wiggly stuff? WTF? I might be way out of touch but those prices are just plain nuts. Years ago, wandering around Spring Carlisle, I started buying truck flare smudge pots and that led to highway construction lanterns, then railroad lanterns. There are a lot more of them out there than there are people who want them. I would think the same is true of old signs and cans. Nice purchases you made there.
Vendors are very 'Proud' of their junk! Cock fighting has been around forever. When did it turn into 'Rooster' fighting? Or is that something different?
God I love swap meets, I recently moved and my new state of residence isn’t big on swap meets unfortunately. The yellow truck does have a nice patina but I’m more about having a nice paint job then patina, unless it was a rat rod I guess then patina would be ok.

Thank you for watching our channel. We have fun making them.
I used to fill my my SS 396 every night for cruising with Shell premium for 37 cents a gallon in 1967.

You got a reasonable price on the gril shell compare to a repop twice as much
We need a summary at the end of the day,all I would say they are there not to influence people but to make a big profit,to expensive.
I saw a couple of your videos and subbed, so don't let me down... Are you in Tennessee, I'm over in the North Eastern corner...
Great video. Do you know about Pudding Creek in Mount Angel, Oregon?
No. I’ve never heard of it. I thought we had the only one.
I d say that was a fair deal on the grill

Just google Dixie Gas Show.
Does anyone know the origin of the term hot-rod? I can guess but I have a feeling there are better explanations.
Sounds pretty expensive for Tennessee?
Did I see something fly outta that billfold when you opened it? ;)
