What I love about this is contemplating that Lars was a self taught drummer, relatively new to drumming and had the creativity as a beginner to create these parts. Right. I honestly don't get people preferring MOP over AJFA. Sure it was great, but Metallica were on the road to invention through the first three albums. It wasn't like the bands that put all their life greatest stuff into their freshman album and then never match it(GnR, Zakk with Ozzy). Metallica was growing, and they peaked on AJFA before developing a new strategy, commercial success, and working on that before until they kinda jumped the shark(for me).

OMG what a performance! As a Lars fan I just can say you did a hell of a job!🤘 Very good drumset sound, specially snare and bass drums!! On the other hand I can't stop noticing that your drum throne is not tight enough and it's moving back and forth. Is that normal for you? I'm a bit suffering for your back. Looking forward for new videos.

That moving back & forth is actually a feature of that Tama throne. Had it myself, works well and keep one’s back in shape too.

brilliant... any drummer watching Blackened covers will pay close attention to the "alternate universe" part starting at 6:30 - Jon makes it look so easy

Not a drummer but even i always pay close attention to that part, even if Lars did it by mistake it is still iconic
