- In this video, I discuss my ongoing battle to have my 2025 Honda Pilot Trailsport repaired after returning it with just 43 miles on the odometer due to severe transmission issues. This ordeal has stretched over six weeks, filled with frustration and concern. Despite these challenges, I am grateful to Honda of New Rochelle in New York for providing me with a 2024 Honda Passport Black Edition as a loaner car.
I'll share my growing concerns with the Honda Pilot, especially as I encounter more people experiencing similar issues. It’s troubling that a brand-new car in 2025 is already facing such significant problems. Join me as I delve into these issues and express my hopes for receiving a reliable replacement Honda Pilot in the coming days. Your insights and similar experiences are welcome in the comments below.

Why was the display screen blinking in this car? Was something wrong with the black edition too? 🙏🏼
No… There’s nothing wrong with the screen. It’s just a refresh rate be captured by my camera.
If it broke down that quickly, imagine five or ten years later. At least you’re leasing.
True, a quick breakdown is worrying for long-term reliability. Good thing it's a lease! 💯
Thankfully you leased the vehicle every time there's a new vehicle with new things
is better to lease you did right, that 10 speed transmission is brand new for Honda.
that 9 speed you was driving on this Passport is been on Hondas since 2016 I believe.
they had alot of problems with those too.
It’s the difference between “Made in Amurica” vs. “made in the land you bombed into subjugation” it’s true with every Japanese brand. Their fit, finish and quality is ALWAYS superior to their Nuclear Armed masters!🤓
Your point about the quality of Japanese manufacturing is well-noted. They often excel in fit and finish, which many appreciate globally.
No reason to have gotten rid of your passport man all to keep up an image and now there's issues
I’m father with growing children… what image? I stepped down from a Mercedes GL550 to be financially responsible… smh
Maybe your issue is in driver?
What?
Honda has always had transmission problems. You should of bought a Toyota
Now I know 😭😭😭
Are you even watching the stop sale Toyota has at the moment sir?
looks like you are living under a rock
every car manufacturer has his problems every car you see in the road 8 out 10 has a recall on it.
I mean the new toyotas have issues too.
@@carlosmelendez7247 of course I am. I never buy new I have a 2019 avalon. You have to know the transmission and motor track record before you buy. Honda are junk. Transmission and 1.5 motors no good.
Honda and toyota both have own issues. It's just that they have been under reported. Don't go after the brands. It'll bite you back. Go after the car.
