Absolutely looking forward to be landing in Brisbane soon. I finally be coming home soon. Its during this difficult time you will realised where you call home.
wow nice video mate. Great to see the new Brisbane runway. BNE is clearly the number one airport in Australia now for effeciency and services. Cool to see the Gateway bridge now on landing rather then fly on top of it. You would think Qantas would have had time to clean the windows with the pandemic laying off aircraft sitting idle in the sun..lol
Philip Gauci I think it was marks on the outside of the aircraft but the good news is that I think the window on my return flight was pretty clean. Stay tuned.
Great clip
Thank you!
Beautiful place and I have been two time
👍👌
I thought that was an unusual approach until I realised it was from YPAD. The only domestic arrivals I've done are from SYD or MEL and generally track to OOL then up.
Ah - I didn’t realise it was unusual. Good to know. Makes sense.
@@beyondthewindowseat Well, unusual to me. I looked at other arrivals from YPAD and they follow that approach.
I can almost hear all those new flight path residents complaining......
Ha! 🤣
Haha! I loved living in Coorparoo under the flight path before the new runway. As an av geek I always rushed to my balcony if I heard something different or really low as I got used to the usual traffic.
I live in Cairns now and only about 1.5km from the end of the runway and I love it. At around midnight the other night we had an Atlas Air B747 from Anchorage, Alaska land in order to re-fuel. It took off again around 2am and headed for Perth WA. Those big freighters really seem to shake the house especially during the middle of the night as they take off. Of course I'm up looking at my flight app thinking 'phwor that was a big one!'😍

Just in time for the beginning of the end of aviation as we knew it...
Thank you, but I was expecting to see the approach from a distance and the landing from the cockpit, but perhaps Aussies are tired of those.
I can only wish I had access to the cockpit! ;)
And the city was on the other side... Good video tho
