@@William-Morey-Baker Google is showing the news as small articles on its search results, whilst taking the profits from the advertising on its search site. What this means is that people are reading the news on the google search page but not actually clicking onto the news site to read the news article. The news sites are producing content but are not getting paid for that content.
That is, Google is taking the content made by news sites, showing it in brief articles on their own search page and reaping in the profits from using others content without paying them for that content.
If google is going to put up small articles on its search results it can either pay for that content or it can do what DuckDuckGo does and provide a link to the news site for people to click into and read the news.

What? Nothing about Google's bias on searches?
Plenty of examples which makes this review seem a little soft on Google. It brings into question the claim Google is more accurate. Perhaps accurate wasn't the best word choice. relevant maybe? But again, with a Google bias.

I use Duckduckgo. I just wanted people to know that when google started they had the opinion to not me evil. So, the current opinion of duckduckgo may change. Infact they "could" in theory be logging everything and people who use it just do not know it. That being said at the moment I would say I believe them. But, I do not use for privacy that much. More as an opposition to google. I figure as long as I can use something else that does exactly the same thing there is no reason for me to use google seems how they no longer care about being evil. Which as far as I can tell duckduckgo literally achieves the exact same means as google.

#2/ There is one thing I found out during looking for all alternative products. 1. All search engine is probably using Google's product, including DuckDuckGo, because the search results are all the same,100% here. 2. Most of browsers are using Chromium, the open source of Chrome, including MS Edge. So I see a 100% monopoly here in searching. This is horrible! The government needs to do something.

The real problem with google is a side effect of the smart search algorithms called "the filter bubble effect". This occurs as a user searches for anything on google, youtube ore any of google's net properties. The search requirements gets analysed and the result are applied the the user profile which is then used to bias future searches prioritizing a narrower range of results in the process. Eventually this filter bubble shrinks to the point that attempts to search for topics outside the bubble yeild useless results.
as early as 2014, foreign state actors have learned to tak advantge of filter bubbles to manipulate the google users en mass, often for political reasons, often to promote violences and and most effectively to authoritarian and even fascist ideologies.

I appreciate that you did my request! A great video too, as expected! :)
I'd also like mention Google's political baias- it likes to move conservative/Republican,etc search results to lower pages (and in some cases- censor them completely), and push the liberal/Democrat based search results towards the front, if the search is Political related. This leads to those who want fair results, to use Duckduckgo. Part of the reason this can be important, is that the Democrat party tends to side with China when it comes to wanting to make them look good, thus they'd actively want to be against any statements that might be negative about China (though after the pandemic, this has shifted some)- thus knowing that Google likes to have politically biased search results, means that I turn to Duckduckgo when researching things like Tencent or the laws that allow private info to be given to the CCP. Because while yes, Google's results won't be entirely censored, they will be politically biased enough to feel like a form of censorship of the natural search results.
